All I did was go to the search bar that says "Search This topic" and typed in "Shazam" and scrolled down. It's pretty easy if you want to find other figs, too. There were some other good Shazams.

You can buy the hairpiece on Lego's website for $0.61. $20 isn't a great deal.

Alright guys, to spice things up, I'm going to say all the things I'm grateful Lego gave us this wave: Black Widow in a cheap set. Personally, I already own her, but for so many kids who only get small sets, this is a major windfall. MCU Falcon. Falcon went 3 films in the MCU without getting a figure, so I'm happy that he's finally been made. He has an accurate looking wing-piece that required a new mold, so props to Lego for the effort. Crossbones. He has a more comics based design, which for a minor villain gives him more longevity (he'll still be recognizable in 10 years, while someone like Yellowjacket won't). Winter Soldier has a new print and isn't a complete re-use of the polybag, and is therefore more accurate to this film. Cap has both a new faceprint and a new color of the Superman hair; I may not think the piece fits, but it's a completely new piece that we can use for whoever we want. Scarlet Witch uses a new piece for her skirt, and I typically prefer pieces to prints. She also has a more "costume-y" torso print this time around, which is nice for fans of her comics appearance. She also got the correct hairpiece this time around. Iron Man has a cool new design, and his Arc reactor has a multi-tone pattern, making it more accurate than pure white (Mk 7) or pure blue (Heartbreaker). War Machine uses black plastic, which provides us a choice between two very different looks for him. Agent 13 is another female character, and Lego has historically shunned the female characters. None of the women got the typical Elsa Schneider/Supergirl/Gamora hair or the similarly overused ponytail hair. Giant-Man looks fantastic. Lego's had a spotty record with brick built humanoids, with the sentinel, Groot, and others. Their design here is spot on, and looks just like a giant minifigure. Getting the micro-figure Ant-Man is great, especially because it's something Lego could have left out. Lego including an extra Ant-Man is also really nice, as it should help keep the price down. The Airport is both a great set for children who want a variety of Marvel heroes, and a great figure update for AFOLs. Releasing the City Airline wave this year could help those who want to make a display of that scene. No terrible re-uses of parts. Hear me out: if we didn't have Star-Lord, Supergirl, Leia, or Cyborg, these prints would fit the characters they're used on. Not so for Hank Pym, where Lego thought he had giant eyebrow prosthetics and was clean shaven. Decent price:parts ratios, especially when compared with some of the Force Awakens or recent City lines.

Hey guys, I realize this was almost certainly a given, but the Quinjet is absolutely in the film: Also, I think this makes it clear that leaving Scarlet Witch's legs unprinted was the right choice:

Seriously? You're going to defraud a free service intended for children so you can avoid paying $5 on Bricklink or eBay?

DC Super Heroes (& LEGO Batman Movie) General Discussion
N_Cat replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
31039 Blue Power Jet is in fact based on the F-35, which in Man of Steel attacked the Black Zero, though you would need to replace some of the colors to make it realistic. -
That's amazing. Thanks for the heads up!

Wow, thank you so much!!! This is wonderful. I'm sure this was a lot of work. Nice job!

REVIEW: LEGO Super Heroes 'Super Hero Airport Battle' (76051)
N_Cat replied to Zusammengebaut's topic in LEGO Licensed
I know it's significantly smaller, but I don't know its exact dimensions. According to Lego, the 2015 Quinjet was EDIT: The 2015 Quinjet was approximately 33 studs long and 50 across, the new one is about 25 studs long and 36 across. It's about 75% the size in each dimension, which means it's probably less than half (42%) the volume, mass, and part count of the old one. In other words, the 2015 Quinjet (not the whole set) had about 465 bricks, the new one will probably have around 195 bricks.- 26 replies

REVIEW: LEGO Super Heroes 'Super Hero Airport Battle' (76051)

I've read those comics, so I understand your point, but (a.) we see Rhodey injured in the trailer, and his face is intact, and (b.) Lego Cyborg's face has no indication of metal or mechanism, and it looks too youthful for Don Cheadle.- 26 replies

Yeah, that's pretty good. I think the newest head-wrap, the black and red one, might look even better.

Hmm. It's possible that after the set's retirement, they might shoot up to 12.00 USD or something, but I bet that while the set is in production, they'll be closer to 6.00. If they're crazy expensive from the get-go, I recommend you become a Bricklink seller and buy up as many copies of the set as you can.

REVIEW: LEGO Super Heroes 'Super Hero Airport Battle' (76051)
N_Cat replied to Zusammengebaut's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yeah, I keep forgetting Agent 13 is in the set at all. Her design here is incredibly generic. Plus, she should be blonde. I understand having a Quinjet- it's an airport, you want aircraft. But the build is so weak compared to last years' that I'm planning on selling it to defray the cost somewhat. I wish they'd do a helmet for Cap- it'd fix the coloration issue and let us use the face we want. Cyborg for Rhodey is weird. They've done him before. They've gone back to even older prints in the past. So why not use his old face? At least Bucky wasn't copied from an earth-based hero, I guess? They're going to have to give him a new print at some point as we approach Infinity War to distinguish him, but I guess they're just kicking that can down the road to save money now.- 26 replies

Here's the simplest possible way to do Giant-Man's torso without stickers, assuming that there's a full bed of studs beneath: I'm sure others can do much better, but I whipped this up in a couple minutes- also, I compared it to bricklink, all the parts exist in those colors.

Giant-Man's eyes are a print! That's the only section that you couldn't imitate with other parts! Yay! Edit: In Zusammengebaut's video, it looks like even friction pegs aren't enough to keep Giant-Man's legs stiff, which is a shame. We'll have to look for solutions. Scarlet Witch's hair looks like it's Reddish Brown (I had assumed it was Dark Brown) so I think that's a new color for that piece. Tony and Rhodey's prints look great, I like the white surrounded by blue/red for the Arc Reactors. Micro figure Ant-Man is slightly less detailed than I thought he would be, but he still looks good. The Quinjet looks just as bad as it did in the earlier pictures.

No, check again, it's literally the same number you have for the Airport battle.
-
Thank you very much. None are near me, but at least I don't have to go on a goose chase or call a dozen stores to find that out. Also, I think you have the wrong number for the Panther set.
-
First off, those are some pretty figures. I've enjoyed Klein's appearances, and I think you've done a good job representing him here. Coulson is also good, and I think he'll look fine even if you don't get the combed hair. Now, as to headgear. Having re-watched the relevant portions of several Marvel films, the baseball caps are usually on Support or Security types, those who aren't planning for actual combat. Conversely, there are many "full combat" agents in Avengers and Winter Soldier sporting the helmet/goggle combos. However, it's agents forgoing all headgear who are the most common overall. Given the torso selection you've shown, I'd vote against baseball caps, and say the choice is up to you between helmets, hair, or a mix, depending whether you're going for a faceless paramilitary organization or a more personal team.

Panda, nice job! I'm most impressed by that Scarecrow, and by the fact that I don't think I've seen it used before! It's perfect for a Nolan or Arkham Scarecrow!

The newly announced Star Wars sets include Superman's new hair in a brown color, I think dark brown. [This photo's from fbtb.net, but I cropped it for eurobricks' rules.] Also, Tarkin appears to have Capaldi's hair in Dark Bluish Gray. [Edit:] And Sabine's hair in that set is also new.

Kraven the Hunter has since his inception been a man who wears a midriff revealing vest, thigh-length leopard print tights, large, ostentatious furs and questionable facial hair. It's a (very) silly look, adapted faithfully. If you want, you can swap out the hair for Aldrich Killian hair in black. He doesn't usually have quite that much volume to his hair.
-
What? I mean, it's a completely different design! It's of a similar quality level, but it's a completely different look.
-
So, I don't love how Falcon looks from the back: What would look better than a 2x2 round jumper plate? Any ideas?
-
Partially. Largely it's that he's completely inappropriate for kids. But if you're desperate enough, Lego has sold them in the past, and you can buy an official Deadpool Lego figure for $30.00 off eBay or the like.
