  1. Very nice build @Ayrlego, I think I like this version more than the GoH version. Is the Cow custom?
  2. Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Large Commercial Perhaps the most important section of Mesabi Landing was the offices of the WTC WTC offices by North White, on Flickr Inside, important WTC members waited for appointments. WTC offices by North White, on Flickr "How long does Tony have to wait before the meeting?" Said Tony "Mr. Mordo is a busy man." Said Cheryl, the secretary. "I feel like we been here since historical times..." Said Captain Angles. WTC offices by North White, on Flickr Upstairs, important matters were discussed using candles WTC offices by North White, on Flickr Meanwhile, Joseph Zumbro showed off WTC products after being fired in disgrace from the RNSD WTC offices by North White, on Flickr Mordo paced in his office, contemplating the official policy on "mystery meat" WTC products. He then set off for his meeting with Angles and Tony WTC offices by North White, on Flickr Mordo arrived at his meeting on the rooftop garden to find Captain Angles alone. "Where's Tony? This is an important meeting!" Said Mordo, "We have urgent and sinister plans to discuss..." He finished. FIN (to be continued....) Thanks for viewing my new build! I originally built this for GoH, but I'm recycling it here with a few modifications. C&C appreciated!
  3. Excellent little build Ross, and I think this build is great, considering your limited collection. I really liked the figbarf you did earlier on your flickr to show off the characters. Of course, I do not support any religious institution that does not involve overthrowing the Gods in a fiery apocalypse. The Prometheans may be called at some point to remedy things.
  4. Very nice build, Ayrlego, simple, and effective!
  5. Very nice build, I like the little details you put into the tower. It turned out very well!
  6. Homecoming to Illaryian | Mesabi | Varlyrio
  7. That's a very nice build! I like the look of a mountain pass. As for your photos, use the little arrow in the lower right, and click on it, and click the BBcode option. That will allow you to post pictures on Eurobricks like a pro! I will say, however, Flickr currently reduced their limit for photos, so now you can only upload 1,000 total.
  8. Location: Illaryian Fufills: Task 1D (home/residence) The rower navigated Captain Mesabi to the dock. Homecoming by North White, on Flickr "We're here." Said the rower, raising his oars. Homecoming by North White, on Flickr "Payment is in the briefcase. As always, thank you for your discretion." Homecoming by North White, on Flickr The Captain walked up the dock and towards his house. Homecoming by North White, on Flickr Inside, his wife, Agnes greeted him. "The 'shipment' is in the basement." She said with a smile. "Thanks, hon." Said the Captain. Homecoming by North White, on Flickr The Captain walked upstairs and through the study. Homecoming by North White, on Flickr He crossed the bridge between the Mesabi Mansion, and the commercial building next door. We really need a tunnel. he thought. Homecoming by North White, on Flickr He arrived in the basement, where a Kolgari lay chained to a murderslab. McCoy, one of his staff, stood guard. Homecoming by North White, on Flickr "Evening, McCoy," Said Mesabi, "I've got the serum." "Good to hear, torture takes so damn long." Said McCoy. Homecoming by North White, on Flickr Mesabi took a dropper from the bottle, and brought it to the Kolgari. He dropped a single drop into the Elf's mouth. Homecoming by North White, on Flickr "Now, where is the Sunken City?" asked Captain Mesabi. "I don't want to tell you. " Said the Elf "WHERE IS THE SUNKEN CITY!?!?" Yelled the Count. "It's, It's, I don't know." He said. "Why don't you know?" Asked the Captain, visibly frustrated. "They took my memories when they cast me out." Said the elf in a monotone. "Why'd they take your memory?" Asked the Captain "So I could never return. I violated there laws. I killed another Kolgari. They cast me out." He continued in monotone. "Do you have anything useful to tell us?" Asked the Captain. "I know a recipe for soup that..." The Captain cut him off. "McCoy? you know what to do." Homecoming by North White, on Flickr "And remember, try not to waste too much of the blood. We do have quotas to meet." Said the Captain. "Understood, Sir." Homecoming by North White, on Flickr Later, the Captain stood in the rooftop garden of his mansion. His wife, Agnes, joined him. "I wonder if we'll ever get them back." Said the Captain. "Of course we will." Said Agnes. "You and me together." "I do hope so..." Said the Captain. FIN Thanks for viewing my introduction to GoH. Please let me know what you think of my builds, and my story. As with BoBS, I plan to continue my usual style of Chaos.
  9. Captain Mesabi of Illaryian swears feilty to Varlyrio! Captain Mesabi by North White, on Flickr Biography: Captain Mesabi was born in Illaryian, to a family of nobles known for shady underworld connections. When Mesabi was 9, his sister Ansa was kidnapped by the Kolgari, who took her to the sunken city for unknown purposes. The Captain swore revenge, and spent the next 20 years leveraging his family's fortune to build a small trading company, to gain resources for finding her. He married Agnes Zumbro, and the two work to smuggle illegal goods to Historica, while searching for Ansa. Thoughts? I intend to get my first build up tonight.
  10. Okay, so I've considered joining before, but this time I think I might commit. I'm interested in Varlyrio. It's the new faction, if I'm reading things right, so that should be fun. I've heard this game is a good way to hone building skills, and I think I should work on self improvement. I've spent way to much time in BoBS simply building things to improve my settlement. (Which is the Best Settlement, by the way)
  11. @Bart I will say, this has been a more challenging AMCRA to write. Most people come in with these grand adventures that can go a multitude of ways. Southbound, for example, had dozens of directions I could have taken. Yours is a little more nuanced. You want to Rodsh to rescue his sister. Great! So, we'll have him do stuff, than arrive in Terrelli, than the rescuing part. And if we have to, we'll make you have to look multiple times. Really, the AMCRAs, in my opinion of course, are designed to help us explore the world of BoBS while telling a personal story. AMCRAs should not be used to do a story you want to tell solely by yourself, and I think several people have found that through the course of the AMCRAs. And, as a note to everyone, DO NOT SEND YOUR MAIN CHARACTER ON AN AMCRA UNLESS YOU DON'T WANT TO USE THEM FOR A LONG TIME! seriously, I'm literally getting the Count back after a year now. I'd recommend you choose the first option, show Rodish Derr throwing some barrels or something at the pursuers, and then get what you want to build. You obviously want to explore Terrelli, so send your ship there! You can do 1 build with the barrel throwing. Then, show the DMDR6 arriving in Terrelli! We'll give you options as you go. You could also have Rodsh leave the adventure, and have Cathy and the crew do the adventure. You still have plenty of options, and if you need advice, feel free to ask the committee.
  12. Excellent, simply excellent.
  13. Whenever anything goes wrong, I simply say, hasa diga eebowai!
  14. Very nice build! It's very creepy looking. I'd like to see it from more angles, however.
  15. Great build @Roadmonkeytj! I'd recommend getting one of those seasonal affective disorder lamps. They're great to use for lighting stuff. Great work on the story as well.
  16. @Capt Wolf Isle 2 Isle 2 was small, and Calvo's men soon had identified everything of interest on the island, avoiding the primitive native tribes. With everything compiled, the expedition said their farewells to the Carnians still working on repairs, and made ready to make way once more. (Island information and rumours pm'd) Options: Pick a destination for this half of the expedition. (One build required showing the expedition making its way.) Isle 5&6 Merker followed the path from the bridge into isle 5. There, they found a native village, but at the sight of outsiders, the natives fled, seemingly disappearing. Merker opened the door to a small hut, and noticed a trapdoor. "Must be hiding in caves" muttered a sailor. "Didn't we see sea caves coming in? Maybe they connect?" Merker walked back out. Kate had pulled out a map of the islands. "Well, from the sea, we have several landmarks identified." Options: Isle 5: Follow the natives into the caves The Sea Caves connect to the village somehow, perhaps you should explore them. Perhaps you will be able to make contact with the natives. 1 build required showing the cave exploration. Make camp nearby, leave a gift for the Natives, and restock on provisions. Show the expedition making camp to await the return of the natives. (100 dbs will be deducted from adventure treasury) Isle 6: The Great Statue A large statue that a native village sits under. Perhaps they won't flee when you approach. This will give you information about Isle 6, and allow you to begin exploring it. It may give you information on Itasca. 1 build required, showing the statue. (Can be a microbuild) Itasca's lost ship A wrecked ship located on the reefs on the south side of the island This will get you closer to Itasca's treasure. and perhaps some other rewards. 1 build required showing the remains of the ship. Kingeaters shrine A shrine where a ritual is performed. This will do something, for better or for worse. It will help with Itasca's treasure. But is it worth it? 1 build required showing the shrine. ================================================================================== 1 build required to continue. If Calvo's fleet joins the expedition on isle 5 & 6, two of the options there can be taken, otherwise, only one is possible.
  17. @Leadership How are the combat rules coming? The WTC feels a strong need to invade someone and we'd like to make sure that we can do so.
  18. Excellent build @Drunknok! I love the detailing on the exterior, and ithe interior is fantastic as well.
  19. Another great issue @Drunknok! @Drunknok took out the fun article about you.
  20. Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Large Commercial Mordo drove the cargo wagon across the elevated railway through Mesabi Landing. As Chief Officer of Human Resources it was his job to inspect the railways that made Mesabi Landing the Awesome powerhouse of industry that it was. Mesabi Landing by North White, on Flickr He followed the rails over the bridge to the loading dock, where large ships were set to be loaded. Mesabi Landing by North White, on Flickr Meanwhile, the streets of Mesabi Landing were busy as usual, street cars and coaches traveled the many roads of the great city. Mesabi Landing by North White, on Flickr Mordo was excited to make sure the cargo got to the ship. Mesabi Landing never attracted much port traffic even though it was far more prosporous than Jamestown and Fatu Hiva Mesabi Landing by North White, on Flickr Mesabi Landing by North White, on Flickr Mordo disembarked, and unhitched the horse to lead it back around. They'd soon have to find a better way to do this, that kept the horse moving. Mesabi Landing by North White, on Flickr But business continued as usual in the landing, in small shops, and in large factories. Mesabi Landing by North White, on Flickr FIN Thanks for viewing my build. Originally the second half was a bit different, it was a lot flimsier, and then I dropped it, necessitating some improvements. I also don't really have the space to photograph it effectively, that's my couch in the background. C&C appreciated.
  21. Immune to Strychnine. Pfff.... Glad to still have you here, and nice modifications to the Komodo Dragon!
  22. Fantastic build Thaum! It looks really realistic, and I really like your skill in LDD. Keep up the great work!
  23. Edited the first post! Thanks for your great addition @Drunknok
