@Ayrlego Thank you! I was very pleased with how this build turned out. Here are some more pictures, this time with the debris removed.
-
Wow, this is looking great. I may have to join once this starts up. Random question, where are all the red torsos from in the second image of the black sun thread? They look really nice.

Looking forwards to telling this story arc with you @Drunknok! Oh good idea!

Chapter 2: The Blue Moon Pub Option Taken: The group quickly disembarked from the carriage, and lead them down a side street, ditching his hat. The streets were strangely quiet, and many of the buildings were boarded up. They were lead through a barricade into a cordoned off street. Blue Moon Pub by North White, on Flickr "Glad I got you out of there," Said their guide. "Things around here aren't super stable." He lead them into a tavern. Blue Moon Pub by North White, on Flickr "Good to see you too, Ivano" Said Princess Isabella. The group went upstairs, where a command center had been set up. Papers and old pizza boxes stacked the tables. Blue Moon Pub by North White, on Flickr "Is like the only place open the pizza place?" Asked Mccoy Blue Moon Pub by North White, on Flickr "Right! Now to Business!" Said Ivano. Blue Moon Pub by North White, on Flickr "Here is a complete briefing of all of our resources, troops, and Dbs. And of Course, the situation in Gonda right now...." Blue Moon Pub by North White, on Flickr To Be Continued.... ============================================================================================ Thanks for viewing my latest build! C&C appreciated. Notes for the AMCRA team: I've chosen to let y'all define the current situation in Gonda, and the Current Resources of the Loyalists. (Like give me some Loyalist troops, and a Db balance, positive or negative.) (Also, make sure you decide what's going on in Gonda, and options of how I take advantage of it.) I'm doing this so that this adventure is as fair as possible, since I don't want to overstep my bounds in terms of NPC relations. Also, NPC dev committee, now might be a good time to go over the Lore for this?

Corrington: Sign-up and Discussion, Era II
Mesabi replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
@Wellesley Welcome to BoBS and the best faction! Quite honestly, don't worry about it too much. It's a big enough world to avoid trampling on other people's lore, and once you find yourself in the new world, it doesn't matter to much what happened in the old, unless you want it too. My personal character, has almost no lore, because I think it's more interesting to keep him mysterious. Well, feel free to take a loan out from the Bank of Corrington, they have 'new player packages' for Corries. EGS is fun, and it really gives me a sense of power in the BoBS world. As for where to put them, I'd suggest Mesabi Landing. It's the best and biggest settlement, hands down, and it could use some more people other than Drunknok and I. Otherwise, Quinnsville could use a hand. -

@Bodi I mean it's up to you / Oleon Leadership. I'm just a humble Corrie who stirs up trouble. -

Brethren of the Brick Seas (BoBS) Intro Thread, Era II
Mesabi replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Hey is anyone doing Merrynight this year? I know @Drunknok hosted last year's, but I'd love to see another one for this year. I haven't heard anything so I thought I'd ask. -
Thank you @Bregir and @Professor Thaum! I'll get building as soon as my holiday ends! It's funny, because @Ross Fisher actually discussed this. Unfortunately, the NPC development committee is on the backburner at the moment, but I really agree that the GAS should be imperial russia. Thanks @Khorne! I hope I do not disappoint! Lots....

[AMRCA - THUNDERSTRUCK!] The Hunt for Zeus' Lightning
Mesabi replied to Ross Fisher's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I like to think as long as you don't get caught you're in the clear. But good point. And I agree with the sentiment that people should not be punished on their AMCRAs, but realistic consequences should follow. Man, if I burned some people at the stake, I'd have to deal with Cooke. Enjoy getting off the hook @Ross Fisher! -
Very nice series of builds, and good job poking fun at all of us empires!

Very nice build @Ayrlego, and I really like this version more than the medieval one. The black tile roof looks a lot better in my opinion. As usual, your builds show incredible skill and realism. I think my only criticism is the horse you used. I always thought that that model of horse had weird looking eyes, and I think it would have looked better if you used one of the articulated 'Lone Ranger' ones. That's just my opinion, however, and overall love the build.

[AMRCA - THUNDERSTRUCK!] The Hunt for Zeus' Lightning
Mesabi replied to Ross Fisher's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
@Ross Fisher, uh I can't speak for the rest of the AMCRA committee, but generally burning an 'innocent' person alive results in negative consequences, for your adventure, and potentially Oleon leadership. (I know if I did half of what I wanted to with Count Mesabi, COR leadership, @Bregir would be Grumpy. ) I would say that you may want to expect consequences next turn of this adventure.... Regardless, good build, especially using so little parts! -

Fine by me @Ross Fisher! very nice vignette. I'd like to see more photographs of it, if possible. You still can take on more option, and make sure you submit your paperwork when you've finished. -

Looking great, @Bodi, my vote is class 7. My turn! Ship WIP by North White, on Flickr Ship WIP by North White, on Flickr She's a Carrack, and a little fat, but I like the general look of her. Any thoughts? She'll need sails of some sort, and some finishing touches, but that'll need more bricklink orders. -

[AMRCA - THUNDERSTRUCK!] The Hunt for Zeus' Lightning
Mesabi replied to Ross Fisher's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
@Ross Fisher The expedition headed back to town. Miners smiled nervously as they passed. The Padre showed no emotion. Soon they were back in headquarters. It was time to review intel. Clues: The miners mentioned the story of an old prospector who raved about finding something deep in the interior. He's quite mad apparently, though. Other: The map found at the Promethean's hideout reveals 2 other locations that the Prometheans found of interest. Padre François said nothing after the briefing. He walked out the door and the rest followed him. Where were they going? Options: The Mad Prospector The Mad Prospector spends his days drinking in the taverns, his mind long gone. Something drove him mad. Was it the weapon of the Gods? Show how your expedition seeks to gain information from the Mad Prospector. Do they get him drunk, roll out their "inquisitive" skills, or perhaps follow him at night? Follow the Map: There are 2 marked locations on the Promethean map. The markings show what appears to be a dock or landing on the north side of the island, and a cave on the south side of the island. The Smuggler's Dock: They're bringing something to the island, what could it be? (1 build required, should be dock related) The Sea Cave: The Caves are located by the label 'Zeus Bolt' On the map. What's hidden in the depths? (1 build required, should be cave related) Go to the Church: The church could be hiding secrets as well. Perhaps it's worth a visit? The Archives: Full of books that could reveal information about Prometheans, the weapon, or more. (1 build required, should be library related.) The Pastor's Office: There are Prometheans on the island and he did nothing. Perhaps a stern talking to is required.... (1 build required) 1 build required to progress, but 2 options can be taken this turn with a build each. -
On Mud Island: The camp was set up, and things were going well, although boars and insects proved more of a nuisance than expected. It was time for Lt. Donley Harris to do his mysterious duty and to contact the chief of the Natives. A map was unfurrowed. "There are two native villages close to us," said the lieutenant. "We can approach either, and simply wait for the Chief to show up. He does travel." "Or," Said a crewman, "we could build up some infrastructure. I don't want to be unprepared if one of them empires comes after us." The Sea Rats debated amongst themselves. Options: The Treetop Village The treetop village is built amongst the tall trees of the interior. Their, natives live high off the ground, safe from the wild Boars of the island. 1 build required. The Old Village Built on the ruins of an ancient temple, this village is where the native chief usually resides. 1 build required. Construct a Fort This will significantly increase your defences. You will not meet the chief this turn, however. 1 build required. Standard Fort sizes apply. One of these options may be chosen. Please also indicate on the map where you have made camp. ======================================================================= MEANWHILE ====================================================================== The ships sailed southwards for weeks. There were some distant sightings of land, but none that fit the description and maps. One foggy dawn, a strange clang was heard repeatedly, and the crews were sent to quarters in silence. Suddenly, the topmast look-out hailed the quarterdeck. "Lotii War Junk, clear off the larboard bow!" Everyone looked up and saw the massive war junk only a few hundred yards away. "Class 6, I believe! Steering right for us - I do not believe she has seen us" Options: Hoist the Jolly Rogers! We are pirates after all, and outnumber the enemy - let's take her! We might need friends... Hail the Lotii ship and invite the captain aboard. They may know something useful for us... Hard a-starboard It is imperative that our mission remains a secret - we shall try hiding in the fog. Only one option can be taken. We shall henceforth consider these two parts of the expedition separated, and they can be progressed independently.

How's the MCRA coming? I can't wait to see what the pirates have done this turn... -
Excellent series of builds all around everyone. @Bregir, glad to see Montoya back in play, as he's been gone almost a year. Hope to see more great stories, and builds from you.

Great Contest @Capt Wolf, and I'm glad to see the tradition carry on on the Brick Seas. Thanks for hosting, and I'm sorry I was unable to participate.

Very nice build! I really like what you've done, and your history that goes along with it!
