Fantastic! I've pictured this scene with a Lego minifigure sooo often.Though I use the exclusive "angry" Vader head, form the latest ISD set. I think this one just looks a bit older than the Ani face you used. Now you just need some Malachor background & Ahsoka facing Vader

Both sets & show have such a broad variety of strong attributes. The sets primarily address young children but also fans of medevil, asian, dragons, sci-fi, mech/gundam, cyberpunk or adventure designs. They are also a much better deal than Ninjago or SW sets (price & minifigures). Lots of new & detailed minifigure prints, molds, designs & features. Just look at this set: http://brickset.com/sets/70737-1/Titan-Mech-Battle Besides new parts & 6 figures you also got the first Lego Gundam-like mech (instead of the blocky transformerstyle). & in some countries you got 750 parts for just 55€. The show is also not just some Ninja-action trash. Since two seasons even Feminism is a relevant topic that is dealt in an intelligent, but not elitist way. They created a universe that's so much bigger than any other Lego themes.

LEGO Ninjago 2017 Discussion
Kim-Kwang-Seok replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
ha thx for the comparison. I know this is rather individual, but I just can't imagine a better model under 200 pieces. Other than that it's great to get a style closer to real asian builds & artworks. Whether you take the figures, Lloyds dragon or the bountys sails (the last version, as much as I love it, has sails no ship in real life has). I wonder how many new armor & weapon pieces we'll get? -

Does anyone know how to get the battle pack in Europe?! I never see these in any store To the Ninjago movie: I wonder if Lloyds dragon will still look good with moled jawpieces, as it sounds like... I just can't see any Destinys bounty topping the last one. It's my favourite set till today. Even if it would cost 150 bucks - what could they possibly do better in that price range? -
LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
Kim-Kwang-Seok replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
How would you do the body parts I listed? Use Mauls legs & Harry Potters hairpiece? Or pirate pig legs in silver? He would also need a special cape, that would probably work with a shoulder piece - like Boba Fett's. -
LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
Kim-Kwang-Seok replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I can answer that with no right now. Saw would need about 2-5 new molds (armor, legs, beard, hair, cape). -
Don't have the hairpiece, but I'll post Thrawn with this shoulder piece & different hairpieces within the next few days. A lot more coming, but had problems with my computer. The black/white dual molded legs can be found i the Disney CMF series. Together with the crazy scientist arms they are perfect for scout troopers.

LEGO Ninjago 2017 Discussion
Kim-Kwang-Seok replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Lego created so many useless new molds in the last years. Like a helmet for a SW figure that appeared two seconds & has just slightly different shapings than an existing piece. __________________________________________________________________________ Do we know anything about the continuity yet? Is the movie set after a time jump, when they got older? Or is is rather a reboot? Even after the awesome Lego (Batman) Movie, I'm afraid these changes, together with the different voice cast, will destroy Ninjago as we know it. I grey attached to all characters - will the Hands of time be the last thing, that isn't a commercial caricature of Ninjago?! -

- The dark red on the gang members really looks metallic. Is this a new colour or just the light? - Rey indeed is the same figure. Still wonder why they didn't change the light grey into tan. -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Kim-Kwang-Seok replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
A year ago I couldn't do that, but ever since the Disney series I feel like such a pro Sometimes other kids or parents join me & I tell them exactly which bags hold what figures so we all end up getting the ones we wanted. Do we have any information on some polybags being available in Europe? -
LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
Kim-Kwang-Seok replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'd like to ask you two more questions: - Did you get a look at the larger ships interior? The arrowhead I think. Looks like it could have quite a bit of space available. - So Sabine from Rebels is in the advent calendar. Could you see if she has any new prints or even a helmet? Or just the version from the A-Wing/Tie set? Thanks in advance! -
Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion
Kim-Kwang-Seok replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Just watched the Milano promo in slow motion. Wow. That last version was so much better. Not even talking about the interior: - the big pointed piece from the cockpit sticks out like it's supposed to be a spear, which is very unfortunate since it - other than that - would be a huge improvement. - the cockpit piece is oversized in proportion to the wings, but most people won't even notice. - the underside is very "open". I really hoped they would improve that over the last one, but now it's even worse. - the underside, as engines & other parts are built in a similar way, but look so much less.. "spectacular". The back engine is just a plain wheel piece, with a blue technic pin sticking out of it. speaking of the interior, the last one didn't just had lots of it, it also was good to look at. No it's quite the opposite. If it's really just 50€, I'm probably still gonna buy & modify it.- 5,808 replies

I was randomly checking for sales in a store - and found a few Halloween CMF's 50 % off. Got the scientist - otherwise I'd have ordered the figure because of the dual molded legs. - the leg printing looks odd, but still it's sooooo much better than without the black boots Here we go: I twisted the hip piece around. So now I can say the printing on the legs is some kind of holster.
-
A comment from the masterbuilder himself. Watch out - within the next weeks I'm gonna start posting my real MOD's: A heavily modified imperial fleet. Ok it's just a few ships ...but I improved them as much as you could, without changing the complete concept.

Another expert when it comes to special prints? Yes neither the orange nor the medium blue match her hair or her brown-yellowish print. But somehow it still seems to be the best colour combination with that hairpiece - her S3 outfit also has a few different brown-yellowish tones. Unfortunately everything about Sabine is still wrong: - the dark grey parts of her armor should be black - as should the arms be, but with colourful decoration, including printed shoulder pads. I tried out the hairmold in both colours. Funny that we got the right colour from the Thrawn figure . I switch between all three of them, can't really decide. Normally I even use a yellow face with a scar for Ezra, but that way no one would have recognized him here Did you see the latest episode of Rebels? If not you should. The kendo stick was a homage to that episode.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Kim-Kwang-Seok replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Gosh there are so many awesome & progressive jokes.. Love how there's a strong female character again! The divergence between the Joker, who just seeks approval & Batman who's.. a huge di** The jokes about Robins horrible outfit - it's like they're breaking all the Batman tabus of which fans have always thought of - like the awkward relationship between Bats & Robin. Just sad that we get so many regular suits in sets of the three protagonists & none of the others (in normal sets) - why didn't they put the scuba suit in the croc set & new suit in the batcave instead for example? Does anyone know what version of Batgirl we'll get in the summer wave? -
Would love to see a decent MOC/MOD of this. But unfortunately the pictures get very small once I open them..
-
I never run out of ideas on a colourful Sabine. Never changed out pieces on any figure so often. The blue & orange are the best representation available for her purple/orangish S3 armor painting. Ezra's clothes aren't accurate as well, but I'm sick of outdated & underdetailed S1 outfits. This looks nice & suits him I think.
-
Allright, no better camera, but a few more pictures - - improved the interior a bit & changed out a few colours - no droid - still very unhappy with the "feet"/landing gear. Any ideas? - small detail, but I changed out the 2x2 white bricks with grey ones on each side of the transition between the grey middle part & the rear part. It's more accurate, but does it look better?! - still shocked how much interior you get, once you pull pieces off. - that white technic piece bugs me - one that's two studs shorter would be ideal "I have the dark saber now - wanna practice while Chopper watches?" better pictures - open space is nicely covered
-
Good spot! My costume Sabine is piloting while Ezra watches behind her I felt like the red Astromech matched the colours of the ship better. Chopper will probably kill it out of jealousy Thanks - I also want to swap out the "windshield" piece with this one: http://brickset.com/parts/4615860 ...but I think think the back would become to small in comparison. Any ideas for another windshield piece?
-
I thought the set is very inaccurate to the "real ship" so I changed it quite a bit. These are just some quick pictues taken with a bad camera. - cockpit section now fits 2 figures - most light grey colours are now either white or dark grey - I put the droid in the middle since I prefer both sides of the "middle dark grey" part to look symmetrical. - most important to me were the white extensions on each side of the cockpit. The difference between cockpit & rear part in width was very inaccurate. - at some point I'm gonna change the dark grey section with some kind of "tube" build, but for now ths works for me. - The original set just left the engines out. I tried to recreate them in the most accurate way. - The ship on the whole isn't nearly as curvy as it should be, but it's hard to get the "blockiness" away without changing the whole concept, making it much bigger, or leaving the "legs" out. - Unfortunately all my pictures of the interior where way to dark to let you see much. If you take all the overstructure & the flick meachanism out you get soooo much more space. Now even big figures can fit in while standing up. About 4 figures can squeeze in, though it's more convenient for just 2 If you have any suggestions on how to improve - feel free to comment! Better pictures will come.

Comparison: 75003 A-wing VS 75175 A-wing
Kim-Kwang-Seok replied to VaderFan2187's topic in LEGO Star Wars
As RotJ A-Wing, I think the older version nailed it - except for the flick missiles. The new one is heavily inspired by the Rebels classic A-Wing concept. Especially the "ramm" front doesn't fit the kind of A-Wing that rammed into the Executor. -
