I don't think he needs boots that desperately, but I like the look a lot. I rather have a problem with his "over-underwear", would try to look for a printed belt on a tan hip piece. btw: Has anyone tried out the CMF's blu Cyborg hair piece on Sabine II?

Ok, I'll take back what I said about the shuttle. The interior looks pretty good. Especially the cockpit deserves a closer look: http://www.lego.com/en-us/starwars/products/krennics-imperial-shuttle-75156 -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Kim-Kwang-Seok replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
sturdiness depends on how the "hip" piece is done. I don't get what the problem should be. If you remove it, you probably have a printed belt beneath. the mold is a way to make figs like Batman bigger & give them more depth. -

I hope there won't be another outrage when the folks here will find out that the $90 shuttle's interior is even smaller than the one from Kylo's ship. If you look at closely were the landing gear & the ramp are attached, there's not that much left until you reach the cockpit... -
Sith Fury Class Interceptor (TOR) (IDSMO-R4 final)

I was immedeately curious when I saw the "headline" for the moc. Always wanted to see a good moc of this vehicle. Would love to see more pictures of it! It looks really great, especially if you look at closely at all the details. But I must say for some reason I still prefer the bulky Lego version over the "real thing". -

Do we know that the modified seperatist shuttle is the new Phantom? Just because we saw it in the trailer? I think someone described the set as such, was the information valid?. Would be sad since the shuttle looks not very aesthetic - especially if paired with the Ghost. BTW: funny that we'll really get Thrawn, just a few months after S3 starts. This summer - a few months after the finale of S2 - we got just 3 sets, all characters & vehicles from the first 3 episodes of S2. And even then the vehicles & minifigs were very inaccurate. So I will only belive that we'll get Trawn when I see the pictures... & with TLG's efforts for Rebels I really wouldn't wonder if his uniform is grey or somehow else inaccurate, based on 2 years old concept arts. -

Yeah, but since 3 years TLG has increased the hairmolds like 30 times... Just saying - I rather'd like to see existing hairmolds used more often and in all kinds of colours. The 4 Scooby Doo hairpieces - never used again, as many other special molds. Plus there were plenty possible and existing hairmolds that could be used for Obi Wan & Luke. -

How can you not love that green little Interceptor? Great that they'll make this into a product, though I wonder how it'll transform into Lego. I bet it will be bigger than one would expect.. -

I find that very odd. They always used the classic male hairpiece for the male protagonists (Luke VI, Obi Wan I & IV, Han, Lando). Though the special hairpieces do look nice there were plenty possibilities in between "totally wrong & outdated" & "perfect". I would rather see TLG reuse existing newer hairpieces on other figs - like the Dr. Who hairpiece on Tarkin. They could have done that with plenty molds for Obi Wana & Luke VI. Hopefully there's a new Obi Wan in the Landspeeder set... Plus: I get how you may prefer this Tarkin fig. Maybe grey feels more accurate. But the colours are not correct, he never wore grey. -

I'd be careful... Mickey Mouse could hide under your bed & attack you in the middle of the night if you talk about this topic... Better don't mention the name "Death Star" at all until TLG has informed us about it by not informing us about it. Guess game: Not that its's out, what's gonna happen? A: another 10 page discussion about how this update of a perfect old design sucks. B: 3 pages of how you like which detail about which figure, though at least 30 of them should have dual molded legs. C: Nothing, because someone tells us this isn't legit & we shouldn't talk about the DS since TLG has told us not to. I'm gonna support group B: 2 DS troopers, 2 gunners - I only miss another imperial officer, since they were quite important to this space station in particular. Can't sit a crewmember in the conference room. Tarkin won't allow that. Oh yeah & Obi Wan still sucks. These pants. Why? -

The thing is - how should they listen to us? It's not just the diversity but especially the extremely childish behaviour that prevents more influence. If I'd be working at TLG - I'd get the impression the AFOL's are less adult than actual children, with their unrealistic expectations. The last DS was one of the best sets & it was at least very likely that they'll reuse it since a just4display-model could never sell that well. But yes, better comunication would have prevented a lot. Funny how little we know of the inner processes of our favourite toy company.. -

I'm sure the overall proportions will stay classic, but it still is interessting: for the Batman movie they'll introduce a belt piece that's not just printed on torso & legs. Next up maybe accessories that you can put on the arms (for armor, guns etc.). At least at some point SW (though not next year I think) will keep up with the extra printing. I wonder how the "3D" pieces could affect SW.. Anyway: I also wonder if the Landspeeder will be of the same design than the last one. I think it would be a huge improvement to "build" the red stripes in - instead of putting them on top of the plates. -

Of course "we"' AFOL's are also important. But by far not the main target group. I simply wanted to explain - by mentioning some aspects - how egocentric it is to assume the DS will fail because of the mentioned reasons. It's simply the "revenge" of some fans who had unrealistic expectations of a profitorientated toy company. -

Now that's just nonsense. 8 year old children won't say "I won't buy this set because 10 years ago it was pretty much the same". The DS Playset was on sale longer than any other set BECAUSE it sold so well. However, when the figures were extremely outdated TLG decided to update the figures & a few parts. The original set was great & now it's even better because of the updated figures figures. If you dislike the red/yellow technic parts (like me) just change them like you probably have to do with any other current set. Yes 500 for +200 parts is a ripoff - but TLG is about money & not making you happy. The Disney Castle is cheaper because it's the first of it's kind - they don't know if the investment will payoff with $12/pp. They rounded the DS price up because they KNOW it will sell anyway. Some people here complain, have the old one & will still buy the new one because Tarkin has a grey suit (unlike in the movie where it was olive). -

Please no... the last red A-Wing was pretty good for the piece count. Besides to the stupid flick missles of course. Even the pilot was perfect I think. -

Another A-Wing wouldn't be too odd. We get about one new snowspeeder every two years. & the design never changed that much since the 2nd version. With the A-Wing they can at least give us another colour. Does anyone know which colour's were presend for the A-Wing's in RotJ? However I'd still prefer a playset - This: http://brickset.com/sets/7754-1/Home-One-Mon-Calamari-Star-Cruiser - was such a great set. Though what kind of playset could they produce with 30-50 bucks? -
Simple but nice. I also did a similar mod once, but then my T-Advanced wanted it's windshield back..

Won't happen. Especially if you demand 2 dual moldes legs in a 30 dollar set with 3 figures that are very desired anyway (at least Qui Gon & Maul). Maybe they don't want cheap plastic on SW. Or they're scared that sooner or later they'll run out of ideas of updating older SW figures. If Qui Gon would get dual moulded legs now, besides to a better cape & an individual lightsaber there's nothing they can do better in 5 years to attract us. I rather fear they'll reuse Maul's crappy head with the grin. Because Maul was such a funny character, making jokes all the time (maybe in Rebels though ; ). -

Least Accurate Licensed Character Representations
Kim-Kwang-Seok replied to BaneShake's topic in LEGO Licensed
lol have 2 of those "zombie Snapes". But won't bash any older figures since that list would be too long.. Marvel/DC: - Thor's torso is good, but it ends there. There are 3 hairpieces that would fit much better. - Superman (BvsS). The torso pattern wasn't continued onto the legs & the headpiece... WHY?! - Lex Luthor. Yeah just give him Bruce Wayne's face. Did they just grab a random head out of a box? - almost any figure. Why is there never any leg printing?! On figures like movie Falcon, Cap or Thor is just looks odd that the pattern breaks up. Harry Potter: - Harry Potter. That hairpiece didn't fit after the 2nd movie. SW: - Sabine Wren (Rebels #1). Just because like 5 % elbow are visible (in a dark skin colour), they gave her plain standard skin tone arms. The torso was painted bad too - not even speaking of the wrong colours. Worst figure for the last 5 years. - the old Vader fig. I always hated the helmet since it looked squished & made him very small. - every figure with leg printing that sould go around the legs. I can't even watch at Obi Wan's latest figure. Or the latest Mace Windu. His white pants are hardly visible between coat & boots. -
I always knew the royal guards were eating cookies in the conference room when no one uses it for debats on how to crush the rebels. I just hope they don't mess up the table with crumbs... Tarkin HATES crumbs..

The Umbara episodes with Pon Krell felt like the adult-sci-fi-war show I always wished for. The Yoda set gives me hope that we may yet see a groundbased set that could reflect the alienworld - & of course I want all the great clone characters! The story of Maul is also one of the best written (in canon).Years ago I despised CW, now I prefer the TV shows to the prequels by far. -

As far as I know it's just Yoda & R2.. Though it would be awesome- if they'd use the "normal Dooku face & hair". I didn't spot any difference to the fig - aaahm character in S6.. -

So much debate for a set that's 97 % identical to the original (we know that now) - the only revelation to come is the Ben Kenobi figure since we pretty much know everything else (if they didn't give Vader long legs, dual molded for the Officers or something like that). -

A Ghost with even a third of the Falcons interior - never gonna happen. However you may design it (under $200 ; ), it's just not possible with this particular ship's shapes. The Falcon is like a circle with a pretty constant height. The Ghost may give the illusion of that, but actually has 4 "triangles" that won't share any space with minifigures however you build them. They could just extend the existing "hallway-like interior" a bit. If they cover more space at the rear (like I did with my MOD) you could use the back too, but then people would complain about not being able to dock with the Phantom
