Whoohoo, awesomeness!!! Thanks for sharing! Actually, it's a good thing that it's not a big deal, because I never get to visit a TRU store to buy those exclusives... Speaking of which.. I still want this polybag: 5004391-1: Sky Pirates Battle. Anyone know at what occasion or store it is/was available?

Splendid work! From the perspective of my own guild, I can say: Nocturnus is represented incredibly well!

I like it as much as the old one, maybe a little bit more by virtue of the added post editor options on mobile (I no longer need to know all emoticon codes by heart) ! Looking forward to the skins, too! One thing I miss: the clear seperation between pinned and normal topics, it was just helpful. Other than that, I'm very satisfied.

I have them on display for some time, I don't have space in my special display cabinet though, as it's saturated with MOCs. So, they get dusty; I need parts, I take them apart. This happened to 20 of them. But recently, some sets have become so good that I want to keep them intact at least for a couple of years. I vowed to always keep the Master Wu Dragon set, atm it is stored until I have more display space in my cabinet.

I do not have the Tumbler, so I can't compare them in-hand, but judging from the reviews that I've seen it's just a whole lot less fun than the Rock Roader, which of course doesn't make it a bad set. I know one EB member has swapped all the white for black, he was really satisfied with the "Tumbler" look. Anyway, have fun with it!

Nocturnus Minichallenge III [Cat. C]: The Pumpkin Soldier
Exetrius replied to Exetrius's topic in Guilds of Historica
Thank you for your comments! Yeah, would be cool to assemble a few more of these! The CMF pumpkin bucket was the only piece in my collection that remotely resembled a real pumpkin, from that I put the soldier together, which made me decide to do a full build. Admittedly, the rest was a bit uninspired, except for the table, which has a complicated internal structure. I'm glad the story and builds are well-received! I have added an overview picture, but the quality is not all that great. Just for the sake of being able to judge this build better. -
Rock Roader, period! I've praised it already 3 times or so in this thread, so I won't repeat myself again. I found my initial post about it:

Nocturnus Minichallenge III [Cat. C]: The Pumpkin Soldier
Exetrius replied to Exetrius's topic in Guilds of Historica
Thanks a lot, guys! I'm really glad that I managed to bring forth an entry, for several reasons. I missed out on Mini challenges I and II; there was only one day night of building for me; I had a lack of inspiration for months, or my parts collection didn't fit with my ideas; and finally, I was the one to suggest this mini challenge. Many thanks, Z! @Henjin That was exactly the rebel-ish look I was hoping to achieve, thanks! Thank you for your compliments! None of the two hairpieces actually, it's from DC Superheroes' Beast Boy: http://brickset.com/minifigs/sh198 -
Nocturnus Minichallenge III: Pie Contest!
Exetrius replied to ZCerberus's topic in Guilds of Historica
For the true ruler of Nocturnus! -
Next! Yes, come in... Lord Raavage was already in a bad mood. One thing his contest had made painfully clear was that skilled enchanted pie bakers were few and far between. He was still trying get rid of the nasty taste of the previous pie... Name. Your Highness! Siralia of Ilyasvir, from the district of Moruth! Siralia tried to conceal her anxiety, for she knew that what she was about to serve was a gamble on a very particular taste. This deal could seal her fate. All she could do now, was hoping the mighty Lord of Nocturnus would be benevolent, despite his dauntingly bothered expression. Bring forth your pie, serpent! The moment of truth was upon her. Three months work, all of her mana and even the extract of a sacrificed soul were put into this pie... "Pie", that was her largest concern. She took a deep breath and started activating five of the eleven magic spells supporting her creation. It entered the hall, by itself... Clumsily; goofy; tumbling from right to left of the hall, it came forward, while swinging its blade and shield, until it held still in front of the dining table. I am honored to present my humble creation: a pie in a harness of pumpkin, under my command! Lord Raavage seemed slightly impressed. He stood up from his chair. He laughed for a moment. Servant, hand me a blade! Now, tell your pumpkin soldier to bring it on! The animated pumpkin had more coordination in battle than Raavage anticipated based on its clumsy entrance, but it lacked any strength, as expected from.. eh... a pie? He slashed right through the head, which activated Siralia's final trick: reshaping the core chunks... ... leaving a confused Raavage with a perfectly ordinary pumpkin pie on his shiny plate. What would he think of the pie? Would he read Siralia's application letter she left on the floor? Her destiny was in the hands of the Lord of Nocturnus! Thanks for looking, C&C always appreciated! Edit: More images: Edit 2: Added overview picture for better judgement:

Nocturnus Minichallenge III: Pie Contest!
Exetrius replied to ZCerberus's topic in Guilds of Historica
You know that you are a real Nocty when you start building at 10:00 PM and finish at 3:50 AM... Anyway, expect an entry from me in a couple of hours! -
[MOD] LEGO Architecture Big Ben + Roman Numeral Clock Faces
Exetrius replied to Admonisher's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I agree, that's a great improvement! (I don't understand why they didn't give it an accurate print in the first place! )- 1 reply

Trading cards, perhaps?

To be honest, I think a 100€ set will need to be extraordinarily good to be considered the very best. I haven't built many Ninjago vehicle sets, but I have to say that I think the Rock Roader is unmatched in the Ninjago range, due to its value for money, building experience, awesome look and lovely features.

Nocturnus Minichallenge III/b: Igronows kitchen
Exetrius replied to kahir88's topic in Guilds of Historica
Nice activity and details in the kitchen, especially the ice chamber is an original feature, plus: dragons make everything better! I really enjoyed reading the story, once again!- 9 replies

LEGO Nexo Knights 2017 Discussion
Exetrius replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Sadly, they don't. On the prelims, the regular Bionicle hands are used -
In all seriousness, this is exactly why a project should be good in the first place.

LEGO Dimensions Physical Brick Discussion
Exetrius replied to Transparency for Effect's topic in LEGO Licensed
Oh, forgot about that for a moment! Yes, I'm well-aware of that. Really nostalgic to me are the anime Medabots, Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh, and the cartoons Samurai Jack, Codename: Kids Next Door, Ben 10 and Avatar. But now I realise: none of those have a female cast. The only other popular show that had one (as far as I can remember) was Totally Spies, which is very girly in appearance.- 527 replies

I don't really understand why TLG chose to pick up the Power Puffgirls licence. I mean, it was a cool and popular show when I was a kid, but not a real stand out; not even within Cartoon Network. The show is rebooted in 2016, but it has a IMDb score of 3.6/10... (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4718304/ratings?ref_=tt_ov_rt)- 527 replies

Don't have an answer to that, I would like to know that as well! Also, how much would you have to spend to get it? Can somebody please clear this up? I've spent so much on LEGO this year that I want to limit myself to one more big purchase this year, so either I use Double VIP + London Bus + Nexo Guard, or I wait for the Snow Globe promotion, if that's a better deal.

Haha nice one, gamejutzu!

Ooohh... EPIC!! I saw the prelims already, but still, this is getting me really excited! I am curious how the new armour will look and if its all going to be purple (I hope it will come in more neutral colours as well).
