Assuming this person is me, once again: I have explicitly stated that it is not a personal thing. However, I apologize for the inappropriately agitated tone of my earlier post. It was a stupid thing to say in a thread were there is barely any activity, and consequently no risk of over-clogging the thread with hype posts based on speculation, therefor I shall welcome the sharing off-topic (yet Minecraft related) news or opinions in the future. That's partly what keeps this thread alive anyway. I hope we're good now! Would be nice to get eggs in the sets. Coincidentally, eggs are produced by... chickens. They should have gotten the hint by now! That is definitely a cauldron, 100% sure it will appear in the Witch Hut set. Simple but accurate. Also, a pretty strong hint for watermelon slices being in a set, but they will probably feature a new Minecraft stylized print. By the way, is that a block of ice on a fence post (next to the cauldron)? That's just odd, must be for teasing purposes only. I wonder if "The Ice Spikes" will include a Stray, it would be a welcome change from yet another regular Skeleton or Zombie. I'm guessing the "Nether Railway" will have a Magma Cube and that, for the sake of play, it will have a sloped track to magma ocean level, which connects to the other two Nether sets:

As a Dutch European, I can say that I'm not familiar with this film. The build has a nice colour scheme, but overall its low on details. This does not include the patches of snow and entrance balcony (don't know what this feature is called), these are done very well

The US had a release in March I believe, for the UK and the rest of Europe, release was January. In the Netherlands I didn't see the sets in retail until March if I recall correctly, though. -

I agree with you: its great to see a fresh concept with a distinct and different design language. Lightning rock monsters, you can't complain, right? I admit gray would be quite dull, but in this case I'd prefer it over purple, to be honest. Maybe the purple helmet things would look great on a purple-skinned head, though, but those do not exist yet. I was thinking the same thing! I'd like to try making a custom Airjitzu ninja with it. The headprint on him is really super neat, he's like the Moltor of this wave. Now that you mention it... have a look at this: -

Agreed, and they had to put some time on it, I think it's just arbitrary. Also, I think talk about tv season and plotlines belongs in the show thread. -
Thanks! I'll take this into consideration! You may also want to have a look here:

Well, for me that was the case with the Lava Monsters, compared to various previous non-human villain factions. I saw the line-up back then and I was like: "HOLY Mother of SATAN!!! So much evil, so much detail, this shit is on fire!!!" Puns aside, they really amped up their game with the refined and seriously demonic prints (particularly on Moltor, Ash Attacker, Sparkks) and the new black armour pieces. The red-black-metallic colour scheme lends itself very well for making other (human) soldiers as well. Now, they've designed really crazy awesome moulds and prints for these figures, once again (and possibly even to a greater extent this time), but I can't help thinking that they would look better and be way more useful in, say, last year's colours. Imagine those Gargoyle wings in black and dark red; cliché combination, but also iconic. Purple and tr. light blue on the other hand... Doesn't look right to me. Speaking of purple: even if this is fantasy, I find purple not an acceptable colour for rocks, or anything made of rock! -

A cosplayer, maybe? I've seen a whole bucket full of them at a Build a Minifigure seller stand at Brick Mania Antwerp, a week ago, those seemed fresh from the factory. Could be overproduction indeed. Its really nice to see the Princess Tamina hair moulded in white. I will definitely try to get that! -

Someone in my neighborhood is offering this minifig bulk lot for 35€. I'm not too much into classic and town figures, but it seems like there could be some good loot among all of this. I failed to identify the torsos of the circled figures, so could you guys help me identify some of those? My greatest fear is that some of it is from clone brands... Also, if you happen to spot some rare stuff, please let me know!

Looks very appropriate for knocking on royal castle doors! I like how it is suspended with double chains on all sides. The overall look could be refined a little more by covering up some studs (especially those on the chassis) with tiles brown tiles, but other than that, this is a nice build!
-
Great entry! The thick packet of snow on the hill slope and the smaller patches on the castle itself looks crisp (pun intended )! I like the subtle detailing in the architecture, like the slightly angled walls and the little extra depth that you gave those and the towers as well. However, the intricate mosaics definitely steal the show here!

MOC The Captain's Daughter's Inn & Watermill
Exetrius replied to danielvermeir's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Yes, I saw it in real life at BMA, it's huge! The attention to detail is incredible. I love how everything is either angled, greebled, rounded or detailed in any other thinkable way! The area around the back of the house, with the dense foliage, relief and swampy atmosphere is my favorite part. -
Great work, captures the feel just right! Bonus points for the letterbox and the decorated lantern! One question I'd like to ask: is there a reason you didn't build a base for it? It seems more practical for display purposes to have one.

Nicely polished build! The attention to minifig scenery is great, like the cake carriers and the dinner tables. Love the red carpet and the bookcase to the side as well! -
Like @Courge mentioned, the December issue will include a kingbot with aviator helmet.

Dear friends, A day or so ago, I found out that EB member CM4Sci got banned. I have seem him with a "Taking a break" tag a few times in the past, yet his ban struck me with bewilderment. One question has kept my thoughts occupied: "Why?" I did some research on his profile and I checked out a few of his last posts, but nothing out of the ordinary to be seen there; no "Edited by Moderator ..." type of things. I can't find traces of ongoing rudeness against other members or anything of that sort. I know there was the 'drawings of preliminary set images' issue, about a year ago, which led to a policy change. However, I cannot find any indications of violation of the Eurobricks policies in recent months. So, this makes me wonder: what is the reason he got banned, then? Part of me hopes that I missed something related to violation of the policies in my search. That he had run out of second chances this time around and therefor got banned. However, if this is not the case, then this is a rather suspicious thing: someone with access to insiders information gets banned overnight; silenced... I've seen that he has had about three profile views per hour over the course of this day, which adds up as a whole lot of members that would like to know what's going on, hence I created this topic. So, on behalf of the community, I ask you, the members of the EB staff: Could one of you give us some clarity on the CM4Sci case? I thank you in advance. Sincerely, Exetrius P.s. @CM4Sci Regardless of the situation, with almost five years on EB and 8272 posts, you were a nice person to have around, thank you for your contributions to the community. If this is goodbye, you will be missed!
