  1. WAIT WHAT? ... Would you please be so kind to provide the source of this?
  2. You just gotta love that wheel and fan spinning feature!
  3. The triangular castle shield is printed, looked it up on Bricks & Pieces. I'll be waiting....
  4. https://shop.lego.com/en-NL/Accessory-Set-NINJAGO-2017-853687 It's available! I'm really glad the price is not higher for the Netherlands this time around, €12,99 is a reasonable price. Also, the Ninjago minifigure plushies are available as well, for €26,99: https://shop.lego.com/en-NL/Minifigure-Plush-Kai-853691 https://shop.lego.com/en-NL/Minifigure-Plush-Nya-853692
  5. Best entry of Cat. A, in my opinion, by far! It's got everything: it's huge, it's majestic, it looks dynamic, it fits the challenge very well; it just has the "WOW!". Amazing work!
  6. Every Nocturnian likes undead, right? Castle/fantasy entries allowed!
  7. Sorry, nevermind. It was one of the "Catagory not Known" pages of Brickset's parts database, full of hairpieces, but the page content changes with different 'items per page' setting and the further categorizing of new parts. Should've realized that when I linked to it.
  8. If I understand this correctly, there is no obligation to have sci-fi elements in the entry, the contest just happens to be in the Sci-fi forum, right? (How am I supposed to choose between castles and spaceships!? ) Anyway, sounds like fun!
  9. This thing has a great look, smooth and worn down at the same time. Nice way of keeping Kyrrath spam mail free.
  10. Cool entry, wouldn't have thought of insects, but given the swamp environment that makes perfect sense! Great bug and also the black decorated border is nice. Btw, it seems like the canopy pieces have a reflection of a living room, which is an utterly ridiculous/brilliant way of making the render more photorealistic!
  11. That's the one, thanks a lot!
  12. Sorry to double post, but while disassembling a moc, I encountered a part that I can not identify. It's the lens part in the picture below:
  13. I encountered a page that may be helpful for completing the list of already existing hairpieces: http://brickset.com/parts/category-Various-Category-Not-Known/page-28
  14. Nothing that is exactly like 41883, as far as I know. 92579 , 87752 or 23448 may be an option for you.
  15. At least one: the short katana, but let's hope there's much more! People have been screaming for silver shurikens for ages. Also, now that they have the budget, I really wouldn't mind if they were to redesign ALL Golden Weapons with a dragon motiv, instead of just the sword... A man can dream....
  16. Robin will be included in the April magazine, looks really good with the jetpack and gunmetal pieces: I know I'm late to the party, but I still want to give some thoughts on the summer wave from NYTF. Nexo Knights really blew me away when I saw the pics, especially the figs.General Garg is superb, I am really excited to get the gargoyle parts in black! The Harpy and petrified Clay (hmm, wouldn't that be called porcelain?) are unexpected, really nice. In my opinion, though, they pale in comparison to Lord Krackenskull, my goodness! Spectacular! Part related highlights are of course the evil nexo shield recoloured in gold, the unprinted trans purple nexo shield inlays and the purple djinblade hilt.
  17. That's one hell of a beast! Weird, terrifying! The "hourglass sand shift" effect you have captured quite well, looks nice! Also, welcome to the Guilds!
  18. Wonderful entry! I love the intricate structure with all the poles and chains! The base looks a bit too messy to me, maybe a two plate thick, studs on the side, frame in black would work out better (the snow overhang is really nice though, definitely keep that!)? I know it is a real pain to do, but I think it would really look much better with an edited white background. Other than that, really awesome work!
  19. Thanks! Upon your request, here's a a rear view shot:
  20. I can definitely understand your point of view, no harm done! Thanks!
  21. Are we still getting the results for the Pumkin Pie mini challenge? (I was recently browsing flickr and rediscovered some awesome entries) Two weeks? That's about half of the time between my uploads for the Guilds, no worries!
  22. @LittleJohn @TitusV @soccerkid6 @MassEditor @nivremis @Windusky Thank you for your feedback! Thank you! The tree uses CMF Ursala's bottom piece, I've had it as a tablescrap for a while. I was thinking: why wouldn't the orcs build the outpost on the ruins, instead of on the (more photogenic!) rock face, but then the tree was a perfect fit. Concerning the "jetpack" (a term that I deliberately avoided). If gargoyles, winged serpents, griffons and dragons (just to name a few) can fly, and mages can create golems and huge magic explosions and rainbows, etc., then what part of a flying device (propelled by magic energy only) seems unfitting for Guilds of Historica? Zotharith is the place where new purposes for magic are found, it's where the magic happens. Thanks a lot! In my opinion, the overview shot doesn't do justice to the model, as it doesn't fully convey the sense of depth, height and broadness. I mean, in-hand I can still hardly believe that all of that is still smaller than 16x16. The posing was a real pain to get right, but I'm satisfied enough with that. Haha, thanks! Yeah, I'm proud of that figure! Zotharith is not particularly generous when it comes to sharing magi-technological advances... Maybe a test flight, for fun. In a guarded, sealed off area.
  23. I feel sorry to see your questions have gone unanswered, so let's clear things up for a bit! Like you said, on B&P you can search for certain parts or sets, which is not particularly customer-friendly for those wanting to look around at what there is to buy, so to speak. Here's a few tips: Use Brickset or Bricklink (in a different tab) to browse for sets/setnumbers, get a general idea of what pieces are included, and look for interesting pieces in them. I've gone through the inventories of almost all sets released in 2016, looking for some 'treasure', but it's a tedious job. If you don't feel like digging in a few hundred parts inventories, you could just choose a big set (Modular building, UCS model, D2C set) and see what's in it. If you enter the element number, the shortest of the two, it shows that specific part in all the colours it has been released in, excluding discontinued colours. Unfortunately though, it doesn't show the same elements with a print on it. An exception to this 'rule' is the minifig torso: 76382, which I highly recommend looking up. I don't know what exactly determines if a piece becomes available on B&P and at what price, or what time, even. My personal rules of thumb: Licensed parts are a matter of pure luck; unpredictable release. In-house licenses (i.e. Nexo Knights, Elves) often have all the newly introduced parts available by the time a new wave is out (or somewhere in between). Non-licensed themes (City, Juniors) appear to have the same strategy as the in-house licensed themes. Cloth pieces and pieces exclusive to CMFs or polybags never become available. Parts can go out of stock (or start out as such) and later be back in stock. Pieces of discontinued sets that go out of stock will never be available again, unless a set comes out that uses them again. I hope this answers your questions.
  24. Those are amulets. It seems like they can be fit around regular minifig head connections as well. Notice how the book has a sticker, but the shield definately looks printed to me! Oh, I also like the red plant pieces in the back (recolour I believe) and nice sand green tooth pieces. Jang has the Elves sets from this years' first wave, I hope he does some reviews soon!
