  1. I appreciate your approval very strongly Lord Valdivus! Ooc: I've got some more interesting staffs up my sleeve Btw, does one need to design a coat of arms, since many members have one at the bottom of their profile information?
  2. Welcome to Eurobricks! That's a serious problem . Have you ever considered to buy some sets, do a quick review, and sell them again? That way you can keep buying and building the sets you want, you could also try to buy sets of which you expect to make some profit afterwards. I'm sure you can get more tips from the Eurobricks traders community. Anyway, have fun here
  3. That looks SO FRICK'N AWESOME!!!!
  4. Ugh, seeing Mega Blocks and other clone brands really hurts my eyes , but you made a good point: sometimes we should take a moment to appreciate the super high quality standards that Lego maintains. Please don't do a MB review again, though! (btw, it is even against the rules of this forum, I believe)
  5. A new GoH mage has awoken...

  6. The Dimensions discussion is in the Culture & Media thread I believe, but thank you anyway!
  7. Better feet, better rider! I like the way you did the mouth. The rear legs are just a bit too studded imo, but the overall look is cool!
  8. Great scene, the wall is nice too!
  9. No, I wouldn't have any problem with that, of course not!
  10. Welcome Vistrick! Hope to see you in GoH
  11. Whoah! That is an awesome teaser I wish I could come to the Christchurch Brick Show, but well, I live in Zealand, almost exactly at the other side of the globe
  12. So much details, very nice shape, great colour scheme, great interior, your MOC has it all
  13. Hi all, For my 100th post, I will show you a MOC that I made quite some time ago, in February 2014. First some pictures, thereafter I'll give you the story behind it. Time for the story. When I started building this, I had a few goals in mind: - It had to be a home for my 4 Ninjago ninja. - The inside had to provide them with a place to eat, sleep, meditate, train and store their weapons. - The inside had to be accessible - It had to be sturdy enough to pick up without it being attached to baseplates. (I achieved all of these goals ) This was my first attempt at a building with two wings (and single attempt to this date), also the first time I put this much thought in the needs of its users, the way it is used. On top of that, it was the my first building that was for the most part closed up (except for the middle section, but I'll get to that shortly). All things considered, this build is an important piece in my MOC portfolio. Back then, I was really proud and satisfied with this monastery. How I look at it now: The roof is not SNOTted, it shows almost all studs. I don't think it looks so bad on the tower in the middle, but I do think it looks somewhat ugly on the wings. The interior is obviously very simple and not very aesthetic, but the studs serve their purpose: to put minifigs on them and maintaining playability. I didn't show the back side for a reason: it looks ugly. I think the front makes up for that. I'm still proud as ever of the middle section . The colours and shape are still nice, but the technique I used to attach the 'head' of the tower to the lower level is still special to me. Bonus pictures: Thank you very much for viewing, opinions and tips are always welcome!
  14. Greetings, members of Nocturnus! I would like to sign up for this guild and build for the Nocturnian glory! First, let me introduce my sigfig: Time for a backstory: Exetrius is a young mage, son of the powerful wizard Onicius. He wishes to strengthen his magic abilities, so one day he will be as strong as his father and be able to rule the land that belongs to him. His training has only just begun... I'm planning on doing a personal story thread. Hail Nocturnus!
  15. Thank you ! I'm actually quite proud that I could come up with that (always had problems with story writing).
  16. Haha, that seems to be an inevitable consequence of joining this forum . And yes, the nostalgia from all those Lego games (my favorite was Drome Racers)... Anyway, welcome to Eurobricks!
  17. Welcome to Eurobricks!
  18. I agree, Friends is one of the strongest Lego themes right now, in terms of both popularity and quality. Welcome to Eurobricks!
  19. You don't stop playing because you grow old, You grow old because you stop playing... Whatever your choice may be, I welcome you to Eurobricks!
  20. Thats why I don't like microbuild vehicles and such: it's just WAY to sketchy! Anyway, this is a great tiny scene Enjoy building and shooting your next microbuild
  21. Nice bit of forced perspecive!
  22. The packaging image (also on Brickset) displays the names. I'm actually kind of glad that we get the tournament outfits, since I have been focussing on the Zukin outfits. Best thing of this battle pack are of course those great exclusive ghosts (purple eyes!!!) and some great parts. Oh, and I'm glad that we got back on track with this discussion, haha!
  23. I like seeing so many Mitgardian interpretations of a beacon, yours rocks!
