  1. Hi Victor, welcome to Eurobricks! Enjoy your time in the Technic section!
  2. Wow, congratz on this great moc. I like the creative parts usage and the used colours
  3. ^ quite a nice deal! If I buy Lego in the Netherlands, it is most of the time at brickshop.nl, since pre-orders (of regular sets) are always about +10% discounted. I don't know how the exclusives work in the Netherlands.
  4. I forgot to ask: is there a gain for completing this task?
  5. This is a very interesting task, good to see it is open to all . I quite like trading scenes, so this may well be my cup of tea
  6. I really like all the stalls and such with those funny faces Will this be somewhere in Nocturnus or is it some kind of spin-off Nocty build, set in the present? If not, on what do the attractions run? I know we Nocturnians are technologically far ahead, but...
  7. You say it looks like crap, which means you have a severely bad taste for aestatics, because this thing rocks
  8. a twist in the title! A fifteen-course-meal should be rather heavy on the stomach, haha
  9. Since this is not a main challenge, does that mean I could register an entry as a freebuild?
  10. That tree off to the side is very cool! It's so tall and thick and bushy and colourful, I really like it! I think it actually deserves to be in the center of the build. Great build Some landscaping techniques include adding multiple layers on the plate with the same colour (or different shades of the same colour) and making the outline of the base irregular, more natural, instead of square. For more refined techniques and examples you can head over to the Guilds of Historica sub-forum. Happy building
  11. I see that you've already started to put efforts into landscaping It is looks kind of messy with the colours, but the shape of it is alright. The tree in the middle has a very nice, well balanced colour scheme and shape (only the top branch looks a bit odd). Thanks for sharing
  12. I could't agree more! We need more collectibles like the Dragon Sword of Fire: detailed, distinct, desirable. In that aspect, I think the Jade Blades looked very cool, so did the Serpentine Staffs, I was (and am!) really fond of those different 1x1round printed tiles. Warning: wishful thinking ahead So the group of pirates that the ninja will be fighting has one goal: collecting all of the secondary Golden weapons (from secondary elements) from all over Ninjago. They have already acquired the Mace of Gravity, the Daggers of Smoke, the Dou (samurai chestplate) of Disguise and the Scimitar of Metal. Now the ninja must gather the alliance of Elemental Masters once again, to prevent them from tracking down the remaining Golden weapons. What the ninja don't know however, is that one pirate crew member is an old ally of theirs, one with a far greater and darker ambitions.... Stealing the Golden Armor!
  13. ^ I think the main problem is the use of Bright ('normal') Green and Lime Green together. They contrast each other more than they complement each other. Bright Green-Earth Green, Bright Green-Olive Green, Olive Green-Lime Green and Olive Green-Earth Green are nicer combinations in general. I really like the stone base that you made for the house, the flora is great too. Maybe you could add some subtle colors to the roof of the house, resembling fallen leafs. I am looking forward to see your progress!
  14. This looks insanely cool! The mutiple irregular towers with all kinds of nice detailing, the lava river and the overall darkness make this a fantastic build This would fit in perfectly in Nocturnus. Our gates will always be open for you, sir!
  15. You are once again displaying that the beauty of Nocuturnus (and the capability's of it's members ) is unmatched ! Awe-inspiring build Blufiji, just wonderful
  16. Excellent reverse-engineered build! Wow
  17. I agree, pirates need to have irregular costumes. It would be appropriate to - unlike with the Ghost wave - not get minions and just a powerful, specialized group of pirates, all with a signature weapon and/or special ability with a captain, of course. Btw, has there ever been a pirate theme in which the pirates all had a name and fit the description above?
  18. Very nice build, that rock work is excellent, the unusual coloured ground looks cool and the house itself is superb! However, I think it does not a good entry at all, because the whole build has four food parts and zero builds representing food or whatever related to the challenge. Great build nonetheless
  19. I hope they are humans, and have a Asian vibe to them, or they should strongly resemble Mealstrom beings I hope they will have new, useful sword molds. I wonder what the collectible of this wave will be. Since we're talking about Ninjago, we will probably get something like: the Golden Grappling Hook, the Golden Flintlock, Golden Scimitar and the Golden Smoke Bombs . Oh, and golden pirate canons, compasses and a cursed golden map, of course
  20. This is impressive! Great recreation!
  21. I think the shorter version is more to-scale than the longer one, but both versions look pretty cool nonetheless
  22. Wow, I can see this must have taken all day indeed! Some interesting parts usage throughout the build, I like the use of that globe piece (though pink doesn't go along well with that colour scheme imo) and those wall sections made with tan (basket ball?) field pieces, just to name a few. Some criticism: mind your use of contrasting colors/styles and custom pieces (which you've used extensively). I also think that this post needn't have this many pictures. I hope this is useful to you, happy building
  23. Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed the story! A big challenge for me was to translate as much of the action and magic from the story into bricks. I know it is studdy in places, but I ran out of dark tan and dk. bl. grey tiles, but it has it's advantages for fig posing. Thanks a lot for your criticism and compliments! Thanks! Plot twist
  24. Wow, I like it a lot! It reminds me a lot of Duke Exeter's sword in Lego Universe. My only advice is to make the grip longer, since it looks like a heavy, dual-handed weapon. Other than that, it looks great!
  25. Those houses are just adorable!
