Pretty nice little keep, the angled wall and the square it encloses looks pretty neat. The entrance with the torch is simple, but has a certain mystery to it. Good build overall, keep it up

Impressive usage of parts all over the place (miner helmets, double NK shield, mops), nice colour scheme too! Yet, I feel like either the arms are a tad too long, or the head is to small, compared to the rest of the build. Also, imo the lime eyes are an odd choice, I would have picked Tr. Light Blue or regular light blue, to blend in with the colours rather than to stand out.

Thanks for sharing! Once again, these sets look great and include lots of nice pieces, the Tr. Neon Green 1x1 pyramid piece on top of the Shadow Fountain for example. I really hope the castle follows the colour scheme of the fountain, it would look really cool!

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
Exetrius replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I didn't rewatch the scene, but I think he played 2. Nb3, which is illegal (such things happen while blitzing ), but as far as I can tell the mate was legit, very pleasing to see that! A really enjoyable scene in my opinion All propaganda for next season's "Wu for President!" campaign Just kidding, I don't know! While writing that, I realized we never got any info in who the formal ruler of Ninjago is. Maybe it's just governed by the police?- 4,591 replies

I believe it has been confirmed that old enemies will return, but not sure if that holds true for the show or the sets. The set names don't give away anything about it.

Incredible technique for the wall! However, I am actually more awed by your floor (carpet?) Nice parts usage for the table in the middle too! Stunning build overall, keep it up!
-
Your SNOTting worked our really well! You achieved such detail and realism with the snow and rock face, fantastic!
-
Totally agree about the cart but the tree is also pretty neat with the snow and those colours. Keep it up!

Superb build, really great 'cellar-where-weird-stuff-happens' atmosphere, which is intensified by your great photography! I very much like your your canvas (with the odd light yellow) and stands!

Content's of the King's Treasury (2013 Castle)
Exetrius replied to Captain Dee's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Certainly what you call an "unusual build"! I don't quite get the connection to Castle 2013, other than the king and TLG's notion of what a treasure looks like. I am impressed by the sheer size of this, did you get all those chests and other items just for this build, or is it an accumulation from you sets in your collection? I also like the way you configured it around the centre, it looks natural. -
Book II - Nocturnus: Guild sign-up and Discussion

A vignette contest, you say? I am very much into character building, so count me in! Only my main character though? Part of the fun imo is creating a 'fresh' figure. Also, I think the white background thing isn't much of a problem, since a vignette can be some kind of hill or pedestal with the fig on top, so that the background is still clear. -
I just received my package today: the same sets as yours, plus Ultimate Lavaria and Moltors Lava Smasher. I'd say: Cheers man!

Kinda you say? It's almost the exact same face, printed upside down. The mouth (without teeth) is the only exception I can spot, even the chin strap is present on the primary face!

[MOC] Lava Village - Nexo Knights
Exetrius replied to Vorkosigan's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Finally proof of the civilized, peaceful nature of these creatures, I just knew it! Great idea and fine execution! I just love how 'slice-of-life' the scene looks, considering we are still talking about lava monsters. -
Another day, another face reveiled! This time it's Doubloon's alternate face which looks excellent and very accurate:

Jang has done a nice review on the Sky Shark in which the face of Flintlocke is finally shown. I think it looks rather nice and useable in a more traditional eastern setting. "Where there is light, there will always be shadow." "The balance has shifted..." These and other phrases are strong indications that there must be a fundamental, immortal 'good' as well. I can see the FSM getting re-awakened or something like that for a full-on battle royale. I really want minifigs for the FSM and characters like Ash and Neuro.

If the Overlord manages to return three times after being defeated, wouldn't it then make sense if the First Spinjitsu Master is still around somewhere? I would love to see him appear in a set!

http://brickset.com/...sfortune-s-keep another review! Glad to see Nadakhan has a very accurate face compared to the show. Sadly, no picture of Flintlocke with moustache removed yet. Ronin, of course!

http://brickset.com/article/18553/Review-70599-Cole-s-Dragon I think Zane's badge looks pretty awesome in trans white! Curious to see the others.

I already knew it from the blurry images, but now it's confirmed: I absolutely need to get my hands on that book!!! Also, I believe that I haven't expressed my thoughts on this new wave yet, so here I go. I think that once again, the design team did a great job on these sets. Though I haven't bought any Elves sets up to now (somewhat limited budget), the Market Place and Starlight Inn are really tempting. The design, the pieces and even the dragons are eye-candy!
