Even so, it should still be up.. But I guess i'm being silly.

No, I meant I tried to search online for maybe a place to see what's being sold. The LEGO store no such thing online apparently. No, it's that i'd rather go and get them myself. It's much quicker than waiting like a week.

I tried to see if the LEGO store had some sort of catalog or something (exclusives are usually there), and it's not there. But are you sure it's at the LEGO store?

Minifig parts and accessories you don't like
gamejutzu replied to AmperZand's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It's used as a blade (and never a scythe) in Ninjago a lot of times, as well as the old Castle. By the way, that whip is actually pretty useful. You can have dynamic swing posing (Catwoman grappling from traffic lights) and it can be used like a wire in certain builds. -
By the way, someone please help me. This is only available via online purchase? As in, you can't get this at a store? I'm not good with online stuff... Too bad then if that is the case.

Are Ultra Agents and Ninjago connected somehow?
gamejutzu replied to gamejutzu's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Really? The only place for UA comics is the UA app. And the reference is one panel. Do you have the app? Yeah I know, just wanted to see if there were still people out there interested. How do you know? And if you read my theory, there are several similarities between anti-matter and the dark matter from the Dark Island. And apparently, Toxikita and Invizable were infected with them, giving them powers. Remember Nya had power but could not use it yet. But when she was infected with dark matter, she did spinjitzu when she didn't even know it yet. (really, she didn't) Same with Tox and Invizable. Their power was in them the whole time, just that it was brought out prematurely by the antimatter. Which can be why Tox's face is weird and why Paleman is forever invisible. And besides, if Chima is in Ninjago's universe with no explanation, than why not Astor City, which is way easier to link than Chima? -

YES!!!! I meant that he belongs to a family of pirates, could be a possibility, as we've never seen his mom and his dad wasn't present during the Serpentine War.- 4,591 replies

[MOC] Nexo Knights Super Angry Mega Space Laser
gamejutzu replied to Aliencat's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
It's your opinion, but to me they don't look the part. You can tell that they aren't futuristic. Sure it wouldn't be a problem usually, but he is entering it in an event. Giving it a name that includes "Nexo Knights" where there are none to be found is a bit strange to me. It's like making a spinning pagoda or dojo, and use the name "Ninjago", when there aren't Ninjago characters in it, just 1990's ninja or a custom ninja. -
It's going to take much more explaining than that then. Who said it will lose money? LEGO didn't even try stuff like this, how would they know? What they could do is, keep the boy and girl targeted themes, but introduce one or two equal female-male ratio themes (Maybe called, say, Adventurers). The draw for these sets is that the builds are spectacular! They have the consumer's attention, and they can't really say that "its for ____". Then people will realize that gender balanced themes are great! I despise those minidolls, it just screams isolation. I'm quite surprised it is doing so well. But even if the Friends sets came with "regulars", I'd still stray away. The builds are quite missing something, too simple. And there's pink in every build. Ninjago, a "boy oriented" theme doesn't do that.

[MOC] Nexo Knights Super Angry Mega Space Laser

Unfortunately tags don't work on Eurobricks, rather quoting me would place this message in my notifications tab. When is the contest deadline? Because usually whenever a set wave is this close (December) people say they found a fig or two online or at K-mart or something. It was the case with Ninjago. I can't find anything online, it would be rather unprofessional saying this is a Nexo Knights creation when the pilots are regular knights. Instead, you could slightly change the name of the project, or have there be no drivers. Or you can make a custom knight minifigure that looks kind of futuristic, by combining torsos, arms and legs of other figures. For example, if you have electro Batman, his arm and leg pieces would be very handy. I'm sure you can find other tech minifig parts as well. You can also try Ultra Agents. I don't have any sets there, but it seems like it can work, since figs like Tremor, Drillex, Terrabyte, and the Ultra Agent's leg pieces (all the mentioned figure's legs) are pretty tech-like. -
Now I know what Elves: Masters of Spinjitzu would look like. The Ultra "Blooming" Raider.. The best I've got.

Isn't MOC'ing the point of Lego? I just mix all pieces of each color, when I need to MOC I magically find the right piece. If I need to remember a building technique I just whip out the saved instructions.
-
You know those Lego base pieces? Those containers they come in? .. Yeah. But these days i'm getting more and more huge sets, I either need more base containers (sort by color) or use actual drawers, but I can't see myself using those.

Minifig parts and accessories you don't like
gamejutzu replied to AmperZand's topic in General LEGO Discussion
That was not intended to be a sword. That's a scythe blade. As for me, i'd say the short legs, big figures (c'mon, more poseability! Even the head can't move!), and the bowler hat. It just doesn't look right, even if the intended character was bald in the first place. -
I keep mine in containers.. Why baggies? Containers are bigger and more sturdy, more figs can fit in, and it's more neat and nice.

But.. Only 1500? That's not fair! Stepping on Lego is the leading cause of death and hospitalizations, yet no one understands the intensity of the situation (which is why it isn't on global charts). Honestly though, only 1500? I hope they're making more, because really? This is a major problem solver, if they're being greedy with it that is just wrong.

Nope. Personally I think LEGO is going in the wrong direction. They've just made it worse. I don't see why instead of making Friends, a girl oriented theme, the could have just either put more females in themes like City and Nexo Knights (it's new, they still have time), or created new themes with both genders in equal consideration There was a silent split before. Now LEGO's made it public when they divided the main target consumers. Quite unnecessary in my opinion. This is going to take a VERY long time to heal, and that's assuming LEGO actually wants to follow the supporting suggestions here. And besides, I never really saw Ninjago as something that is boy and boy only. The colors of the sets tend to reflect actual Japanese culture, or the elements, or both. And the newest additions to the team was (in newest to oldest) Nya, water ninja, Skylor, amber assassin, and P.I.X.A.L, as well as Misako knowing spinjitzu. No males there. In Ninjago's case, all they need to do really is add more female goons. The ghosts only had Bansha, while the skyrates appear to only have one female goon. However you split it, everyone should agree that with the release of the minidoll and "girly" sets, it is not bringing the genders together. Of course there could coexist female themes, male themes, and the gender-neutral themes, but realistically let's face it, that is not happening, (very) sadly.

Very nice! Although, might want to wait for Nexo Knight figures to actually come out before submitting. -
Ok, it's your build. But would LEGO do that? They'd try and make it, not plain. They don't want people thinking Lego is simple and such. You can try going for something like this: https://dirtyharryonlocation.files.wordpress.com/2010/12/dscn6994.jpg (Ahh, too big!!) Here, the roof has an outline. It's simple but effective.

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread

Guys, remember: We haven't seen the elemental master of lightning in Garmadon's flashback. There was fire, earth, and water. But no lightning. So what happened? Was the master somewhere else? What I think could happen is that Jay is actually a member of the royal pirate line, which may be why they are going easy on him and stomping everyone else.- 4,591 replies

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread

Yes, Cryptor and Mindroid appeared to have exploded while Mindroid beat up Cryptor. BUUT.. 1. He is the only nindroid to teleport. The others have camo tech, it's not the same. He could have just escaped and was eventually taken down, maybe by Ronin. 2. Remember Zane? Who exploded? He's back. Why not Cryptor? Yes, Zane died around Borg Tower, but Cryptor, if he died, may have also rebuilt himself. There are tons of other possibilities, like He went rogue then was captured. Was immediately taken to prison. He denied being reduced to a mere security droid and would rather be in prison, then to have himself saved by Borg. Also note that at the time, Cryptor's tech was superior to Zane's, now they are at least even. I REALLY want him to be in the next season, one of the only chances left. At least Mindroid, y'now? You can't just kill off 2 recurring characters, especially 2 that have such an awesome dynamic. Also, notice the skill level of the 2 nindroids that attacked Zane. One lasted pretty well against Zane (for Ninjago goon standards), the other was beaten in less than a second. And the nindroid that attacked first ran straight for Zane, not all slow like the other prisoners. He wanted Zane, apparently beating him twice wasn't good enough.- 4,591 replies
