  2. I am being reminded of the Enderman for some reason... Good job on it though. Really good take on him.
  3. That's a really nice work bench. Lego seriously needs to make those. I can see how it will help with complicated MOC's such as this one. Oh, I didn't want to buy it from you, my apologies if I sounded that way.
  4. Maybe nunchucks = elemental dragon? The weapons could very well appear in the show. I would have mixed feelings on that. I like characters to keep their outfit for a while in the show (not 3 minutes like the ToE outfits), but I don't like it at the same time since I can't get a new variant fig. I however, do like the compromise between the two, it's kinda the same as last year, while varying enough to get. And it would work in the show as well. Doesn't seem like Lego to do that. And realistically, more people would buy the set with a ghost Cole in it, so why not the expensiver one? Same seems to be happening with Jay. After all, it would be too easy to just spend like 35 euros and get the 2 most significant figs, and have 2 pirates, which is about the same worth as a battle pack, except you have 2 special figs.
  5. Alright. Lloyd has development, and Nya will probably have some as well (as long as she is with the ninja in the sky domain). But Skylor on the other hand is a person with the potential to be a-.... Wait. Skylor Skylor.... Ohhhh.....
  6. What I meant is, that we get insight into his character. Like how in season 5 he is acting more like a teenager than an adult (not that he is one, but he is expected to) The quips are just creative insults as well, which I find a bit funny.
  7. The first three books were great. Each ninja had a small solo story and a few characters shined and had their moments (Like when Cole kicked through a pinkish material only to find it was sugar). But the thing is, making a game off one of the books is probably not a good idea. Those are much smaller than a normal graphic novel is, thus less playtime/story. They were still really good. But why must it be off the graphic novels in the first place? It could work if main story elements from the first 3 were added (they were untold and they actually worked unlike other games with an "untold" story) but wouldn't the show be better? The pros here are that instead of spending 2 seconds inside a tomb, like is in the show, you can check out everything as long as you want. In the comics you are in an unfamiliar location most of the time and it may not be the most interesting place. And also, more length in 13 episodes, so more adventure. The only con really is the cutscenes and visuals. I'd like if the same people who make the show could make cutscenes for the game (Wilfilm it was called?), since i'd like the game itself to have the same visuals as the show, to really feel the part (playing through the show) As a bonus, you can either play through the season as it was, or choose differently in what the player does (The choice isn't directly given to you, meaning the 2 paths are not in the open) and rewrite Ninjago's history as a fun little what-if some people are curious to know. Like instead of doing this, do this. But the choice isn't told to the player. So, if this team were to be formed, I would direct? Since I am not very talented in this field. Like a game feature? What is it? Maybe it's even one of the features I have in mind...
  8. Where do you discuss it then? (what are they even for??) Also, I thought the texture on the shurikens was what was called the sprue (like the handle on a katana) but it seems i'm wrong. Well, now that the prophecy stuff is out of the way, Lloyd developed as well. In seasons 4 and 5, he goes on adventures with his dad (and exchange quips and such) as well as being kind of that person who gets on the bad guy's nerves.
  9. Making a proper action and adventure game is (I am assuming) much harder than a Lego level, since there is a free camera, more in-game buyable content (weapons) and more animations (more improvised combat) and more puzzle solving than automatic Lego building. And, I can't game-make. Yet. Sounds cool though. See, the game should be based off the canon story. This way, there is much more to do (example, in a game off season 2, you can explore the Bounty, Birchwood forest, Ouroboros, etc.) rather than a regular spin off non-canon tale. I am guessing Lego didn't do this because with the regular Lego formula it would get repetitive. But this way, bosses would be a bit harder to beat and mechs can puzzle solve like the Arkham Knight batmobile. Yep, that came out wrong. I'm not that kind of person. If anyone likes, I can post a few things I have in mind like controls and shop (weapons, cards, character upgrades), as well as abilities.
  10. That's a really cheap move by Lego. But hey, Sets gotta sell, or at least according to the guys who suggested that idea.
  11. What are those things between the 2 shurikens?
  12. I don't have a problem with Lloyd not using a signature weapon, I have a problem with him not using one at all. It's making him a boring character, as all he does are flips and blasts these days. Even if it is just a regular sword, I'd still like him to use at least some sort of weapon regularly (he uses weapons, but rarely). I mean, we already know he is proficient in the use of just about every weapon. So why doesn't he just use one? Out of ideas, Hagemen? Nya has this problem, but not as much as Lloyd. At least in the show she had and used a signature weapon rather than none at all. But now that she is a ninja, I think she will just use her fists and powers just like Lloyd. It would be cool if we got "golden weapons, 2.0" Like cooler versions of the golden weapons, but still have the same structure (Like the dragon heads are different). After all the Sonic Raider is getting an upgrade.
  13. I found a quote from a digital product specialist from LEGO: We are sorry to hear that you weren't happy with the voice over in the game, I certainly understand why that was so disappointing. We try to keep all of the original character voices in the game but sometimes they simply aren't available to do so. I'm told that Zane was too busy fighting with Lord Garmadon and saving Ninjago City to stop in and lend us his voice for the game. I'll certainly let him know of your disappointment. So, they simply weren't available for Shadow of Ronin, Nindroids and now Dimensions... K. I actually think it's a good thing they were not voicing them as well. The show's actors should voice a game that is worthy of their voices being used. Like say, a primarily action-adventure game that focuses on the adventures of season 2 of Ninjago, as the serpentine are a very diverse enemy and can be beaten in special ways. There is also lots of exploration to be done as well. I mean, in levels (free camera) like Arkham City, not just one giant hub like Lego Marvel. Examples are the Birchwood Forest, Ouroboros, and A small portion of Ninjago City.
  14. Tron would be awesome. Lego even made a Tron-cycle in their Ultra agent's set (vs Infearno). I think that freaking Legend of Zelda has this coming by now, but you probably mean new ideas, so i'll say... Teen Titans! The legit Teen Titans 2006, not the Jokerland Robin they pulled, or the TTGO! stuff. Arkham games! Three sets for each of the 3 games!
  15. That didn't answer the question? I'd like to help.
  16. That airship kinda looks like a skreemer... And, I thought they would make their elemental dragons look similar to how they did in the show. I didn't think Lloyd's was that.. Small. Or had razor wings. Wait.. If their powers are stolen.. Than how is Lloyd flying that dragon? Prior to the removal of their powers? If Lego cared enough to make it a set, than it must last for at least an episode though, so I guess they use their powers in Skyrate area. And how to they get sent to prison if they still have powers? They would just literally break out. Also, did anyone else expect Nadakhan to be an actual pirate? Like Blackbeard of the Mediterranean?
  17. I suppose, but making a hollow square and a tile with tiny hinges (like the regular chest) would probably not cost much, since it is not a completely new mold like the weapons and the helmets are. And Minecraft most likely has more TFOLs and AFOLs than, say Ninjago and Ultra Agents, but those figures nail the details, headshot. So you would expect a theme with the potential to grow even more popular than these to have printing on the figs that resemble the game's. Because 1. It is just printing. Lego does it all the time and 2. More people would notice than with other themes and brands, like the Cyclops minifig, which almost no one likes after Lego went lazy with it. As said before, a theme like say Legends of Chima has a majority of children who get the sets. Yet there is still good details on them. As with Ninjago as well. Sure, more AFOLs and TFOLs buy Ninjago, but the details here are even better, completely superb. And Lego is making them off the top of their head, making it the way they want. And a theme where the designs are already made, and it is to be replicated? You would expect them to get the printing on a minifig correct, if they put over the top details on their own non-licensed figs. What i'm trying to say is, if their own non-licensed themes have better designs than the licensed ones, representing a different thing, than isn't that a bit... Weird? Yes, but the details they missed out on are what made them just regular torsos and legs. Like the Skeleton. Only thing valuable worth getting for it is it's head. Or how Alex's legs have zero attention put to them, not even regular boots, like DC and Marvel do. I believe that the baguette does not even fit in the chest.
  18. Yeah, but a minifig can still somewhat be placed around the tower and still somewhat "fit" though, even though it is not an accurate size, right? Like how in that Temple of Airjitzu set, the minifigs are not exactly at home in the interior of the pagoda, but at least they can fit.
  19. Hm, I don't think I can do it. I'm kind of a n00b when it comes to building certain things. But at least I tried and learned a new building technique. Doesn't really matter how long your project takes. We'll still be here to see it anyway. And besides, real Lego is much better than LDD if you have the pieces to pull it off.
  20. I guess. I am very impressed with the helmets and weapons. I was just perplexed why they would even try to pull off some of the moves that they did. There is zero excuse for using the regular huge chest. It isn't even going to be hard making it. Just a 2x2 hollow brick with 2 holes on the sides, and a 2x2 tile with two bumps on the sides. Throw in some printing, and there you have it. And it is very similar in operation to the chest that is regularly used. And the flipping bread. Did they seriously think fans wouldn't notice? If they were not going to make a smaller pixelled bread, then they shouldn't have used it at all. It's a bit embarrassing. Soo, then Lego did not have the resourses to make t-shirt sleeves in blue (Steve, Zombie) and green (Alex) ? They also couldn't print pixel designed boots? The torso is printed, so why not the legs? I am genuinely puzzled why they couldn't have applied these small but meaningful changes. Would make the figs look much better and would compel me to buy these sets more than I want to now anyway.
  21. Who cares if it isn't minifig scale? If it is larger, than it is better. Even more of an advantage for stop-motioners.
  22. Guess that's a valid reason, but did he have SWAG??/?//?
  23. You mean this ^ post? Sorry friend, but the symbols on your profile pic are not even Japanese.
  24. Well, the minifigs in UA and Ninjago are almost extremely detailed (more than the usual anyway). And because of this, every fig is special. Maybe this is the case?
  25. Very nice use of brick placement. Hope Lego will compliment this at the end. And, is that giant Lego table thing available for purchase anywhere? I would really like to own one of those, if I could know where you got it from.
