  1. I’m already collecting parts for the PF Tribute - hope to have them all (including rare ones you changed to black) by the end of the month. I’ll provide some pictures and a little overview of the functions. I must say, looking through the instructions, that it exceeded all my expectations.
  2. Step 50 of which part? You got a page number?
  3. Both are absolutely fantastic models. I think I prefer the dark blue one, simply for the clean looks. I’ll definitely build it (those?) when the budget allows it
  4. Fantastic pictures @brunojj1, I'll probably copy a few of your mods for my own version if you don't mind For those interested: I've created some very short and simple instructions for the luggage: https://bricksafe.com/files/LvdH/collection/mclaren-720s-by-charbel/suitcase4.pdf Can also be built in red, dark azure, dark grey, white and black and the handle can be none in a number of colours as well.
  5. White is a bit cheaper because of some rare parts in red (3x11 curved panels for instance). Red does require a couple of mods: Part 15100 doesn't exist in red, check the pictures to see how KD123 solved it (4 at the spoiler, 4 at the front). Part 18654 also doesn't exist but can be replaced with red bushings.
  6. After a few long nights... It's finished. Not just mine, but also @KD123's. We both received the instructions a bit early to test them before release. He did it in red while I did the original white colour scheme. I blacked out all the visible pins so no blue dots anywhere (at least visible ) Per KD123's request I'm also posting his version here. And, for @brunojj1, I grabbed my P1 off the shelf and took some shots of the McLaren family together. The 720s is a little bit shorter but the rest of the dimensions match up pretty closely. More and better quality pictures can be found on my bricksafe. For those collecting parts: I was missing 4x 1x9 black liftarms and had 4x 1x7 extra. No idea if I or a seller made a mistake counting or if I made a building mistake, but for those building, add 4 1x9 liftarms to your pile/list just in case.
  7. If anything you can just order them directly from LEGO, usually pretty cheaply too. I got a set of Land Rover wheels (not the tyres) for €2.30 each.
  8. I had them since last Saturday. Not necessarily testing them but I did get them before they were finished with testing. Might be a few errors in it but so far so good.
  9. About a third done... Excuse my mediocre picture, it's an awesome build. I blacked out all the pins on the interior and monocoque.
  10. Thank you! Can’t wait. I’ll have to start collecting soon.
  11. @atila4 @trucalling PMs are disabled until you’ve reached 10 posts.
  12. You’re welcome, I’ll have to take some shots of them together as well PM sent
  13. Great work on the model, truly a masterpiece. I think this will sit nicely next to Bruno’s P1. By the way, even though I believe it will only slow them down, maybe it’s an idea to only sell to members with an account of x weeks/months/year(s) old or with a certain amount of posts. Anyway, this ticks all the boxes for a great moc for me. Can’t wait to build it!
  14. Tail lights might get rare, only in one obscure set from 2002. Part 42023 in trans-red. You need two.
  15. I’m currently using Studio 2 on a project for a friend. Only missing some parts and a few features, such as motor cables and rubber band bending. @Touc4nx you can change the directions of the ends with the arrow keys. Just click on the end and it will show up as its own “part”
  16. Fantastic job! I just might have to build this. Are there any exceptionally rare or expensive parts?
  17. Hmm... doesn’t exactly scream “Ultimate” to me. I’ve been thinking, maybe it’s the Top Gear car?
  18. Great work so far! By the way, the Studio prices are based on averages of new pieces. It’ll be approximately half if you buy used
  19. Usually directly from LEGO is cheaper, but it will take longer. After a while they’ll be cheaper on bricklink, in my experience.
  20. Last Wednesday he posted “in a few days”. Could be any day now...
  21. Very impressive design. I will build this for sure!
