Why would you put Luke above Riekkan? Yes, the Rebels do have rank and leaders. I guess Jedi can be Bishops because of their religion, but they are Jedi Knights. Knights can also move in a way no other piece can emulate, similar to a Jedi.
-
Rebels: King: Han Queen: Leia Knights: Obi-wan, Luke Bishops: Artoo, Threepio Rooks: Lando, Chewie Pawns: Troopers Empire: King: Palpatine Queen: Vader Knights: Fett, Bossk Bishops: Tarkin, Piett Rooks: Veers, Ozzel Pawns: Troopers Yoda was not a rebel, he never helped them. Most other characters were affiliated with Jabba only.

I don't see the front turret on this one...

Community Build: SW Episode I - The Phantom Menace
StoutFiles replied to Oky's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think I'll try this one. -
Ships like the X-wing and TIE fighter are built to minifig scale. They are as detailed as the price point allows. These ships will never be the same scale with larger ships as the Falcon because kids can't afford 600 dollar ships. Smaller ships should not suffer on detail to try to put them to scale with the inaccurate System Falcon.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors

The Superpack is an excellent sales tactic. Parents buy it thinking "great deal" but kids who get it really only want one, maybe two of the sets included, then beg their moms to buy the other sets that match the theme they like. I'm pretty sure for this reason TLG mismatches the Superpack on purpose. -
LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors

It's unlikely just because of how many bricks would be needed to lift the palace high enough for rancor playability while still being stable. I don't see it ever happening, a kid will pull the trap door, then take the figure to a different area for easy Rancor movement. -

Then we'd have to pay the extra cost for a new mold. It doesn't hurt to have multiple considering it was featured in multiple scenes. -

You could make that debate for anything that's talked about here. Anyways, just because you think it's boring and annoying doesn't mean everyone does. -
Wish the set cost a little bit more and replaced the bland bike with a new dewback mold.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors

Reports are that the Palace is £119.99, so that likely fits your definition of pricey. As for Cloud City, I sure hope so. Time to discontinue the Death Star and build this already. -
Why does he need what you consider to be professionalism in his reviews? He gave us some nice pictures and what he thought of the set in readable English. Maybe he doesn't want to document the whole build and spend time uploading tons of pictures and comparisons to other sets. If people want to join a Lego review club I'm sure they'll contact you. Don't go into people's threads saying their review isn't the quality you like and pitch your club to them. As already stated by Blue, we'd have more pictures on here if people weren't so judgmental. Let it go. As said before, if you can do better buy the set and review it yourself.

TLG has tough guidelines to follow which include stability. What is the official angle of the bottom? 5%? To achieve perfect accuracy you sacrifice stability and/or increase piece count drastically. While I agree Anio's looks better, TLG's seems to be more stable. I'd also say that if TLG had Anio's detail on it it'd be even more expensive than it already is. Some things to consider. Considering the amount of spammers we've had lately, I would prefer it stay the way it is. 10 quality posts takes about ten minutes. I guess it'd be nice though if users could initiate PM's with new users.
-
Agreed. We're going to scare people away telling them their grammar is bad, their pictures don't have a white backdrop, they aren't in some reviewing academy, etc. Who cares! If you can do better, buy the set and do your own review. Let people review the set how they want, and the mods can decide if it's worth archiving.

More like 109.99. There isn't an official price yet, but with 9 figures of which many are new molds, and a supposed 700+ piece count, it's going to be costly. -
That's how I feel. You should lower the hood...it needs to fall on the Jawa's shoulders to look like a hood.

Because they are terrifying. Also, they look nothing like the traditional faces we've all grown accustomed to. -
Oh ok, sorry. Talking about Episode I for too long makes me angry. So that when the figure is made it can be determined which character you are getting given the set it comes in. If it comes in something stupid like the Gungan Sub, then you'd just say "who was dressed as the queen at the time of the sub" and it would be Sabe.
-
The black gowns, yes. Sabe is not the queen in every queen shot. Watch the very first queen appearance, that is Natalie Portman. Had you actually read the article instead of skimmed it, you would have seen it links to every scene and who is playing the queen.
-
Not true. http://www.royalhandmaidensociety.org/decoy_queen.html
-
Her name is Padme Amidala. Queen Amidala is Padme, who has been made before. Now, Padme (or Sabe) in queen attire has not been made.
-
They have Padmé in sets. Anyways, maybe that's Sabé in the logo. Artizan, thank you for that close up of Anakin and his soulless eyes.
-
Is there no other line with a head that looks like Episode III Obi-Wan? Qui-Gon comes pretty close.
-
Thinking of two complaints wore you out? Minifigs come in two sizes, child and adult. Anything else would require a new mold and that would get expensive. If you don't like the hair color, replace it with different hair.
-
The system Falcon is difficult to mod to proportion because of the oversized cockpit. If that isn't fixed it will never look to scale. That said, the mandibles do look a little better here. What extra pieces did you use?
