  1. Yes, it was blue screen instead of green screen, my mistake. The original A-wings were all supposed to be blue as well. Later sources have been coloring the A-wings due to their squadron color (red, blue, green, gold) even though they were all just one color in the film. It's the only reasoning I can think of why TLG didn't give us a movie accurate color.
  2. From what I saw, these are the two most stolen Lego figures ever. It was harder to spot a book with a figure still there than a book with it ripped out.
  3. Good point, we were promised something amazing that would be put back in the vault for a long, long time afterwards. So far nothing in this wave has wowed me or has seemed all that special.
  4. Figured Palpatine's Arrest was coming someday, TLG had already planned to make it before it lost to the Home One set a few years back. I expect this to be pricier than what people expect due to the class of minifigs that should come with it.
  5. I still like the armed soldiers against three Ewoks.
  6. I believe TLG was giving us Arvel Crynyd's ship (the one who crashed into the Executor). His ship has been retconned to green since he flew for Green Squadron...only red was used at the time because of the green screen problems they were having when filming.
  7. It's a nice little tree, but two Ewoks for three armed soldiers isn't much of an ambush. You either need only one soldier, a lot more Ewoks, or some sort of trap for them to walk into.
  8. Well, to be fair, the colors have never mattered as far as the movies are concerned. The entire PT they fight droids, which with their advanced AI they should have no trouble differentiating color so camouflage would be useless. Might as well be white or yellow so that your allies can easily spot you. I guess you could put camo on the droids but they weren't programmed to be stealthy, or good at anything really. The OT didn't need it either. The Empire was so powerful and cocky they could march in wearing anything and dominate the opposition, no need to hide. However, in the one tactical battle they engage in, they are camouflauged in Hoth. On Endor, they were expecting to win and wanted to lure the Rebels out so there was no need for camouflage. As for the Rebels, they use camo on Hoth and Endor. Ships can target other ships, so camo in space isn't very useful. It'd just be harder for wingmen to back each other up.
  9. The rumor is Zuckess as the last figure according to Hoth Bricks. He wasn't there in the movie, but he's been there, and people want him so it's plausible. As for the sail barge, it needs to be a UCS model to be done properly. The last sail barge was about half the size of what it should be compared to the skiff size.
  10. This is the greatest set review I have ever read, thorough yet hilarious. Here's hoping you do more reviews.
  11. I'm skeptical that this wouldn't fall over if it was built in real life. LDD is awesome, but I wish it would consider the weight of pieces as affected by gravity.
  12. Are the "wings" connected to the pod with technic? I'm somewhat doubtful this design would hold up with the weight of the panels. Otherwise, nice design.
  13. I like it other than Luke. He shouldn't be wearing his black outfit.
  14. Sometimes I think the TLG builders are instructed to not make perfect System-scale ships. If they did, how would they get people to buy the remake if they own the previous model? Remakes seem to always be marginal improvements.
  15. It likely won't be a fair conversion. The Super Star Destroyer is currently £349.99 vs. $399.99. So R2 will vary between $150-$200, likely closer to $150.
  16. It's in that awkward price range where I think it'll be underwhelming. I would have preferred a $300 R2 that was a good size then a $150 R2 that's not big enough.
  17. That would be much, much worse IMO. Speaking of the V-wing, they couldn't even bother to make the right droid for that set.
  18. It's better in some areas than the '06 model, but it leaves a lot to be desired. The rubberbands are still there, the wings still don't fully touch, the droid is now facing the wrong direction...I think if you own the '06 model you have to seriously consider whether at full price it's worth buying this for a slightly better ship, Porkins, and a new droid.
  19. What was the cost of this set? Price will definitely be a factor when getting this.
  20. 10215 is selling on Lego's store for 59.99 right now in the U.S. Good deal if you're into the PT or the resale market.
  21. Considering the position of R2 in the new ship, I will continue to complain if certain design choices regress. Not complaining about reissues though, they are practically a given since TLG has covered just about every ship. Every kid deserves a shot at owning their favorite ship at some point within a 10 year time frame.
  22. The Sail Barge appears to be the Lego version, set 6210.
  23. For some reason they gave Anakin bags around his eyes in addition to the color change, so I can see the confusion, but it isn't CW. I never understood why his eyes changed in the film anyway...
  24. In a broader scope, everything about Yoda from the prequels is out of character. Consider selling the set soon unless MISB, the value will take a huge hit when CC is rumored to appear. Used sets take a huge hit in value when TLG makes a better version. There's no way they won't before 2016 when the license runs out again (and probably extended). Unless, of course, you don't care about the huge profit and love the set, which in that case keep it and enjoy it.
  25. Oh, right, Roman Numeral Fail. Um...keeping it somewhat small... Any Jabba throne room scene Skiff battle(s) Speeder bike chase Anything around or in the shield generator Yodas death Ewoks fighting an AT-ST Luke and Vader on Endor Emperor throne room scene Endor celebration
