Limited Technic Reviews
LucyCol replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
As another 'Oldie' may I add to the support for your well written reviews, I'm not particularly bother whether they appear well after the release date as i tend not to buy sets until well after the release date. but i do enjoy a well written review, maybe its because i come from an age when people wrote about things rather than took a quick picture or video, whilst i appreciate that there is definitely room for the type of reviews that @Sariel produces, I prefer the written word and good quality still photographs (such as yours) that i can study in depth before coming to any decision. Keep going Jim -

[SURVEY] Frontpage News Review: Have YOUR say...
LucyCol replied to Mister Phes's topic in Forum Information and Help
I like the front page, it highlights MOC's and subjects in theme forums that I wouldn't normally visit. -

Sad that the project is no longer, we all have these struggles :( You could try downloading one of the many Rollercoaster type games, personal favorite is RCT 2 (Free Download) and just have a look at the way some of the coaster are constructed, especially the wooden ones.

Building Desk And Storage Shelves [Now Finished]
LucyCol replied to MxWinters's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Looking good, one thing i would suggest is a small cut out at the bottom of the legs to go around the skirting board and allow the the desk to be flush against the wall, i amazed at the amount that falls down the gap on my desk. -

Interesting news item from the BBC, could this be a signal that counterfeiters will no longer have it so easy?

Why the upper age limit???
LucyCol replied to Idris's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
As someone who is well over the upper age limit for most sets, I simply buy them and wait in silence until an appropriately aged 'young un' is available to help me out. -
