My only problem with this theme is that the sets all look so simple much like the Castle theme did from last year, it does not seem to have anything special or challenging about it to me. The only set that appeals to me is the Brick Bounty, the other sets just scream "Castle 2.0" for me and that theme (the one from last year not the much older ones) was a huge miss for me...

2016 action theme?
alohamitsu replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Honestly, I (as well as many others) were never into Chima, it is basically just "Care Bears meets Thundercats" rip-off to me, it had nothing special to me (and from the one episode I saw of it, it was badly corny). I am glad this set is ending because it no longer seems as popular as it once was when it first came out, I had a feeling Ninjago would last much longer than this series because it has more to it and the sets for Ninjago are very cool. I would love to see a new action set, but if Scooby Doo is its replacement and we will get more sets of it, that would be so great! -
Looking forward to seeing your build Dunedain! I have not been able to build mine just yet, may tell my friends I am busy all day Sunday so I could spend time on it lol

I think I could see this theme lasting longer than many people who do not believe that it will. Android's Dungeon (with Kumiko as an exclusive) seems like the most logical choice for next year, following that would probably be Krusty Burger (with Sideshow Mel as an exclusive) and Springfield Elementary (the latter which could be downsized to one classroom (with Krabappel), the cafeteria (with Doris as an exclusive), the principal's office (with Skinner), and an outdoor shack for Willie). I cannot really see them making the power plant, there just seems to be way too much detail to put in a set like that that it may cost even more than 200... As for the CMF series, I think two is more than enough for the series though one more would be great as I would love to get Lindsay Naegle and Cookie Kwan.

Did anyone else have a problem with the piano against the wall of The Simpsons House? It just kept coming off way too easily and I was getting really frustrated with it sticking out and not fully going on so I had to put the two tiles that hold them one place over away from the wall for it to sit properly without falling out, I think I might put Snowball II behind it since cats love to hide underneath or behind things lol but just curious to know if anyone else was encountering this problem with the previous set.

Yeah I just really hope by the time I get there (4:30) that they will still have them in stock, I am unaware of how popular VIP sets fly off of the shelves here but I do know at the store where I used to live it was less frequent because of the area I was living in was not really a big attraction (since it was also in a high-end mall) Woohoo! I went to the Lego store and they had three of them! :D Bought that and managed to find the unicorn girl from MF13 to complete my collection. :) Now I just need to save money for The Simpsons MF2 collection and the two Scooby Doo sets I want this summer! And (if it does come out this year) The Big Bang Theory set.

I think it would be great to get Dorothy's Home, Marvel's Caravan, Munchinkland Square, The Field (where she meets Scarecrow), The Cabin (where she meets Tin Woodman), The Woods (where she meets Cowardly Lion), Witch's Castle, and Emerald City! :D

I am going to have to agree, that is the same house, except the one in Dimensions is more of an updated version of it...

Yay! I would love to have a Mulan set, I just hope they are not lazy with it like they were with Frozen (sorry but I really find it dumb that they did not make the effort to make Elsa's hair the actual color it is supposed to be)

I for one would love an Archie Comics deal. It can appeal to not only the young crowd but also to the adult crowd who find Archie Comics universe (including Josie And The Pussycats and Sabrina The Teenage Witch) as nostalgic. Not only that but most of the elements already available would help create the characters without having to do any moldings (except for maybe Jughead's hat). 01. Archie 02. Betty 03. Veronica 04. Jughead 05. Reggie 06. Moose 07. Midge 08. Dilton 09. Cheryl 10. Kevin 11. Ginger 12. Sabrina (Sabrina The Teenage Witch) 13. Harvey (Sabrina The Teenage Witch) 14. Melody (Josie And The Pussycats) 15. Valerie (Josie And The Pussycats) 16. Josie (Josie And The Pussycats) P.S. I dont get the whole craze about Dr. Who, but maybe thats cause I have zero interest in it like with Star Wars.

If Dimensions had not already sold me it definitely will make an even bigger impact on me if we could visit Lego Springfield! :D

Glad I am not the only one, I no longer feel like an outcast. :) If they make Wizard Of Oz sets I will just go bananas!

LEGO really needs a "spooky" theme cause I missed out on Monster Fighters (I really do wish they would bring back that theme, all I have is the Haunted House though) I feel like I am the only one who has ZERO interest in ANYTHING Star Wars, the franchise never appealed to me...

LEGO Dimensions Physical Brick Discussion

I wonder if this will be a hit after the huge disappointment that was LEGO Fusion, which would have been great if they paid better attention to it- 527 replies

My dream theme would have to be Sailor Moon... to think about all the possibilities they can make with it, especially adding it as a "mini-doll" theme cause I do tend to think Friends and Elves is way too similar with the latter basically having inverted colors of bricks. Other dream themes would have to be Archie Comics (I think a lot of the sets would go great with town builders!), Pokémon, Super Mario and Legend Of Zelda.

Am I the only person who wants a Mulan set? :(

I cannot wait for this! Everything with this set looks so great and detailed! Out of all of the items here, I am specifically looking forward to the Angry Dad comic tile, I just love Angry Dad (and the episodes with him in it!) it is so hilarious, I really wish they would do more than one set per year though but I guess being this detailed it is only natural for them to release it once a year. As long as we get more I am happy with that!
