The set looks very nice. The buildings are a lot more square than I expected them to be, but I can't blame TLG since they're screen-accurate, after all. I think I like Ollivander's best and QQS worst (that pink is so bright! And the big empty spaces on the façade don't help toning the colour down). IMO the leaked Harry fig might belong to a polybag or a book.

The reveal has been "tomorrow" for the last two weeks. I wouldn't gear myself up for anything.
-
Holy shmokes. 5600+ pieces? Again reported by Promobricks, so I trust this is true. I can't wait to see what TLG has come up with. If it's 300USD/EURO, I'm hoping for 400CAD.
-
Welp, 9EST and nothing. See you tomorrow, folks!
-
About Diagon Alley... I wonder if TLG went for a simplified, clean, "straight" look for the buildings, or if they managed to capture all the crooked windows.
-
Yippie! Finally we have pictures of the CMF! And now the main show...
-
Thanks, but I was thinking something along the lines of what the castle looks like in the movies: The Great Hall, the shortened Whomping Willow (like you have it in the picture), and then the Astronomy Tower. I don't have much interest in the Clock Tower, but the AT looks precious.
-
Just the two short bits on each end removed, as to keep only the section with the bigger tower and the bridge / archway, if that's possible.
-
Can anyone post pics of the Great Hall, Whomping Willow and Astronomy Tower connected, but with some sections of the Whomping Willow set removed to make the distance between the Great Hall and the Astronomy Tower a bit more proportionate? I really like the AT and the GH, but when I see them connected with the full WW set they're too far apart IMO. I can't find anything on Google Images.

Looks like it's from an Instagram account called detective azani, who then thanks promobricks... So is it really an update? Or just taking the best-case-scenario bits of information from Promobricks (300-400$, 3000-4000pcs, spring 2021)?
-
I believe some Instagram users were claiming it would be branded as Ninjago Legacy. Either way, I believe Promobricks is one of the most trustworthy blogs, especially if they say their own source is trustworthy. They're not just saying "an Instagram leaker claims..." Super excited for this one. NC is one of my (if not my most) favorite sets. EDIT: spelling. Damn sausage fingers.
-
Is there a 2021 thread? I'm posting this here since it seems most appropriate. There's a rumor circulating on Instagram of a new expansion to Ninjago City. 3000-4000 pieces, 19 figs and 300€. Allegedly Ninjago City gardens. Love both NCity sets, so I'm really hoping this one's true.

The last livestream reveal I remember was the Fiat's back on February 29th. The event was announced about a week prior on Facebook. The set released the day following its official reveal. As much as I wish the livestream were this weekend, I think chances are slim to none. TLG would probably announce it much earlier for a set of this magnitude.
-
Wouldn't TLG do some sort of announcement the day(s) prior as a "join us on X date for a Q&A stream"?
-
I only found a short article on thebrickfan about this Q&A. Does it have a set date or is it just "coming soon"?
-
Well they did officially reveal the Fiat the day before it was released back in March. Of course, by then the box had already leaked a month in advance. I just want a reveal next week. I remember when boxes always leaked and TLG did reveals 2, 3 or even 4 weeks in advance.
-
So *if* it comes out in October... Is there no September D2C release? When was the last time we've had a D2C-less month? There's also the Colosseum, WV set and the SW UCS that should be coming out this year. Will we get 2 D2Cs in a month?
-
Didn't Falconfan say the HP D2C always comes out before the October SW UCS? Sure, it can "come out first" if it has a VIP release, but so could the SW set, in which case they'd be coming out at the same time, which would be surprising.
-
I'd love to get this set on release if I like it, but I'd also want to have a guarantee that Gringotts would be a single set instead of coming in another 300$+ D2C. Unfortunately, a guarantee is not possible...
-
One meter wide??? Holy smokes that is HUGE! I'm devastated about Gringotts not being included. It's going to be a really tough decision when the most well-known and important building is missing from DA. With all this information dropping all of a sudden, I'd be surprised if the reveal wasn't tomorrow. EDIT: I also hope the shops can be rearranged so you don't need the alley to be a meter wide. That's going to be really hard to display.
-
Sorry for the double post, but the earliest Instagram post I can find about this rumor is from an account with just 3 posts. The lego fan news account seems to just be reposting it 2 minutes after the original post. I'd love for the piece count to be true, but not even the Instagram leaker is sure of it.
-
I hope. I have no idea if the HP tax is as big as the SW tax, which has become ludicrous lately. 5444 pieces? I'd love that. 400$? I hope it translates to 500CAD max. After all, the Sian was 380USD and 490CAD, so there's hope.
-
If there's nothing this week, perhaps we'll get a teaser at the beginning of next week and a reveal a couple of days later, probably on the same week as the teaser, as was the case with the Piano, which was teased and revealed about a week and a half before its release on August 1st.

Better pics of Ponda and Evazan on Instagram. Ponda Baba's head is huge, but it looks great. I wonder whether we'll get more leaked minifigures soon. -
A new LEGO City set might be revealed soon. Pics have leaked on Instagram. If that's this week's reveal, then perhaps DA will come next week???
