  1. WoW, did he seriously print all of those? Well, there goes a lot of trees…
  2. Exactly, I feel the same about these sets, particularly the AT-ST; I am not too fond of it, despite having designed my own, but I am impressed with Lego's advancements in the quality of their designs. That could be useful for something, dunno…
  3. Same boat Hopefully, in the near future, Lego will have a need to produce them in LBG…
  4. I figured the same thing—seems like taking one thing then strapping wings to it creates wonders…
  5. For the same purpose, I've searched if such existed, and unfortunately came to find only DBG ones, but I definitely agree that it would have been a better option than those plain printed legs. Though with The Lego Batman movie, and his whole array of various suits, there could be a possibility, hopefully…
  6. Most impressive work jhaelego! Seeing builders like yourself, La Chupacabra, Dmaclego, All in the Reflexes, and this other endeavor to incorporate full interior for each of yours' great AT-AT walker is compelling me to do likewise! I see your use of the curved bricks for the upper part of the legs as a dynamic technique than using elements with their 2-dimensional prints—thanks for that idea; I'll be implementing this design into mine own! I believe La Chupacabra is referring to the similarities in the cockpits between the two of you.
  7. A new update is coming along, which will address the unsightly gaps present at the back of the walker's head, as anothergol pointed out. Using the 1 x 4 hinge plates was paramount to solving this, but it opened up other predicaments. Since the rear of the head need to be expanded in order to incorporate the hinge plates it caused some difficulties with the side face plates colliding into the front armor plate. Then, another problem arises of how to connect the hinge plate to the rest of the back panel —but here is how it looks so far! I am also not entirely satisfied with new locomotion computer design, but it works, currently…
  8. Well, I definitely committed myself to doing it when I said will, but I did not make any promises on when it will be ; though soon, I hope— thanks Robianco! Glad you like them! So you are the one who made that acronym years back! Just kidding! Using bricks for wings does have its advantages for details, but it certainly will not hold up so well without the proper techniques, like sandwiching them with brackets (which I did), as anothergol mentioned: And my Snowspeeder still has one trouble area, for where the wings are joined to the body, there is the possibility of splintering, and that comes from limitations of certain bricks and the varieties. Nevertheless, I am proud to say that as for the cockpit/body (where the minifigures sit), the design is so incredibly well structured it might be able to pass Lego's design qualifications (though fail because it lacks springshooters and tow cables ).
  9. Thanks—it is certainly larger in life! The windscreen worked out well being longer and deeper than other ones (like the one for the rear), though it still negates from the flowing aesthetics of the overall aircraft; I hope Lego will produce a windscreen (and an appropriately long one) exclusively for this at some point. I am anticipating that day with malice The rear gun definitely needs to be redesign, since there is a stud preventing use of the previous version, and I have looked into implementing blasters, but I dislike that they angle upwards, yet I will keep searching for other solutions, and I do appreciate suggestions from others like yourself—thank you.
  10. Ah, yes, the AT-AA, the bane of existence for all those pesky snowspeeders—fantastic work! How many pieces does it have and would the limbs be able to support the walker?
  11. I prefer yours too, because unlike some people, you provided a good deal of photos…
  12. Thanks! I say of the cockpit (where the minifigures sit) that it has the sturdy structure which can be expected from Lego's sets; it will be able handle a good deal of play. Before I make the file available, I will 1) make sure that all elements are in their most recent molds, currently produced, and in colors readily available; 2) polish up the generated building guide so it is coherent enough to be built from LDD; and 3) create a BrickStock file of the required parts, so it will be easy for anyone to attain the parts through Bricklink—for to provide an enjoyable experience for everyone!
  13. Thanks! I just like to see the thinness of the wings, with the emphasis of the cylinder parts to the body, but I understand the difficulty of trying to focus on the whole model.
  14. How about a front view of the X-wing with the wings closed; I particularly like that view!
  15. Fantastic work! I find it remarkable that we happen to use a similar design for the nose with the wedge plates, though you managed to angle it more, which I am most fond of on your model: And I too use those reference sources when designing!
  16. Well, the extra parts arrived weeks ago, but I have been so caught up with redesigning my AT-ST, that I unintentionally neglected sharing photos of the new improvements that I made to my Snowspeeder in LDD. The cockpit is impressively better structured then originally, and the nose redesigned now being 100% connected to the rest of the model, and the heatsink fins remodeled to ecmo47's design. Among other things, the structure of the wings has been reworked significantly, as well the gun housings, air brakes, laser cannons, etc. I will have proper photos to come…
  17. Well, since I finished the AT-ST, I suppose it is time to finish the AT-AT!
  18. The crutch is already available in LDD, have found a way to use it?
  19. It seems like could be placed where corner tile is (right above the dish mount), though it would add more studs.
  20. I don't think they will ever produce them in LBG, but these similar elements are still in production (4596 even in LBG) (2508) & (4596).
  21. Yes, I like the roof you have now on the head, as it works considering it does not angle at the top, and does not create that unsightly gap underneath (at the top of the side panels). *EDIT* Would not that hose bend out of shape overtime, since it is not connected at the other end?
