    How it would be possible to switch off criticism in some forum?! There will be only like buttons like in twitter?

    It is something like You came to barber, but doesn't expect to be shaved.

    If You post something in the forum, get ready to be criticised. And that should be done constructive way, pointing what is not OK, why it is not OK. In best case also, how it can be improved.

    Impressively technical. As electrical engineer, I think I will use that pillar design to create some overhead line model.

    Challenging project. Maybe looks and functionality is possible to achieve with mechanics, not pneumatics, using the same principle as on 42009 leg(or what it is called) extension. OK, not triangular beam. That would be really hard.

    Then we need to introduce beginners moc subforum ... but who would will to post there? I'm posting, and doesn't care too much, if there is no response. Of corse, it is pleasant to receive any comment. But to start really topic as WIP, is a good aproach. But then sometimes, when You even did good job, there is then after that not so much response, as if somebody would post that as finished MOC.

    So 5L, as it was written. And some different question. 42009, red 8 tooth gear. Does it have just different color, or is it also different mold, with more free mowement on axle? I afraid yes, but I already ordered all missing parts according to rebrickable. And, as it is shipping to me, started to build, and came to this step.

    I just don't have time anymore - work, teaching my childrens, as scholl is in remote mode etc. Mostly to to build something new, to think. At the moment mostly I build some old sets, which I havent built, from parts I own, or even order needed parts. At least I have time for that. I have unboxed vestas windturbine, sian waiting for their chance to be built.

    A model was not better. Still haven't built it, even I have all needed parts in collection. I just bought some parts for 42009 to build it, including 6 wheel sets, which costs pretty much. That 42070 will be one of last I build :)

    Don't give up so fast on everything. Just idea on which I'm workng now, maybe something similar can work for You. Yes, You won't be able to use dogbones And then for top connection, maybe this combinations is possible

    So, motor was not connected to battery etc.? Please, add some pic how it looks.

    Good start. How do You plan to get it further from front? There seems not so much space at the moment. I suppose, that chassis had to be then with "empty" middle part.

    I think it was already answered - change front differential, so that its main gear is on other side.

    Only batteries will be non lego? If not mistaken, they are some 9 studs diameter, motorcycle tyres will be some +4 larger, so less rpm will be needed. Do simple calculations, basic geometry.
