    This is amazing news! I’m glad to see the line continue and I really hope these are Jurassic Park sets, but if they’re Jurassic World I hope we see an herbivore or the mosasaurs. Are we getting 3 retail sets plus a D2C or is it 2 retail and the D2C?

    They gave him that accessory in the second Marvel Super Heroes game, I believe. Or maybe it was the Avengers game. Not sure, but I’ve definitely seen him with those accessories.

    I hope we get a Kree suit Carol and a Skrull at the very least. I’d love a Nick Fury, Coulson, Ronan, Jude Law’s character, and some members of her team but I doubt we’ll get much of them. I can see them making Jude Law’s character and Nick Fury but I have a feeling they’ll skip over the team members (which is a shame since I love Gemma Chan and would very much like to see a minifigure of her).

    I miss the flipping tables and McGonagall’s dress piece from the prototype, but otherwise I think the final version looks better. The new elements in the courtyard (the half arch pieces) were used in Hogwarts Castle.

    Well, Marvel has their grand finale movie next year so it’s understandable why Lego is going all out in the spring for that. Movies like Shazam are only going to get one or two sets max. I’m sure we’ll see some more DC in the summer, especially since the Joker and Wonder Woman 1984 are coming out in fall.

    Darn it! I was excited for another building. @Azani made a list of the new sets and prices in the Marvel 2019 thread, and 76131 was included as a $100 Marvel set.

    76131 is a Marvel set and not DC, in case anyone didn’t know.

    76131 is a $100 set? Some of these HAVE to be for Avengers 4. I don’t see how they’re going to do a massive January wave with a $80 and $100 set and then follow it up with another massive wave with big sets in March.

    They aren’t based 100% on the movies. Little details in the sets come from the books instead, like Dumbledore holding socks in the Mirror of Erised and the hourglasses on the wall in 71043.

    I’ve got a long, thin table in my living room that sits in front of a window. I put my castle on there. The boathouse hangs over the couch a little but the castle pretty much fits.

    I agree. They can still include all 6 stones in just 4 sets as well if they double some up. I just don’t see us getting 16 sets total with the January and March releases.

    That makes sense, but not including the dead heroes makes a summer set seem more likely to me. We haven’t gotten a Scarlet Witch since 2016 and I don’t think they’d want to miss out on making more Spider-Man so I could see them doing another “spoiler” set during the summer. I think we’ll get new versions of the main 6 Avengers since they’re all different in the concept art (except for Tony, who’s still wearing the Bleeding Edge armor).

    I agree. We only really need figures to cover the new costume designs for the main Avengers and the characters that weren’t represented in the IW wave (Scarlet Witch, Nebula, Mantis, Drax) and obviously any new characters. I’d be okay with 4-5 sets in March and getting 1-2 exclusives with spoilery characters in the summer wave would be nice.

    That’s a possibility. I don’t think a 6 set wave for A4 has ever been confirmed, though. Maybe Lego didn’t want to do such a large wave since they already did 6 Infinity War sets? I’d love more sets, though. It just seems very unlikely to get a 10 set comic wave right before a 6 set Avengers 4 wave especially since we’ve never seen that many Marvel sets in a single year let alone a single season.

    DC gets a lot more big sets than Marvel does. Marvel’s gotten four $100+ sets since 2012 while DC has gotten ten since 2012 (counting TLBM), with one coming once or twice a year since 2013. I don’t doubt that 76131 is a DC set but I certainly wouldn’t be complaining if it was a Marvel one.

    There could be more sets that we haven’t heard about, or I guess these could be summer sets. But if we operate on the assumption that all 8 rumored sets (9 counting the Captain Marvel one with no price) are winter sets, it seems very odd that Lego would release so many comic based sets right before they release a massive Avengers 4 wave. Could 76133 and 76134 be Far From Home sets?

    76123 is a $20 Cap set, 76124 is $40, 76125 is a $60 Iron Man set, and 76126 is $80. This sounds like an Avengers 4 wave to me. What else would warrant such a large wave? I highly doubt that all 8 rumored sets are comic based.

    There’s a new rumor of 76123 being a $20 Captain America set and 76125 being a $60 Iron Man set. Do we have a 2019 thread yet?

    I hope it isn’t a promo for buying Hogwarts. Maybe it’s a November promo for a general “spend $100+ on anything” to coincide with Fantastic Beasts? I’ll definitely be buying one on eBay if I can’t get it any other way. I think microscale sets are great as promos. I wouldn’t mind a microscale Hogsmeade or Ministry of Magic as promos or cheaper sets. I’m sure we’ll see something from Diagon Alley as a minifigure set eventually so I’m not very annoyed by this.

    They’ve done some pretty sizable free giveaways recently, like the Creative Storybook, 60 Years of the Brick, and that mini Lego Store/VIP card build from last October. Diagon Alley looks pretty cool. I wish they would’ve included some microfigures since it’s microscale but oh well. It’ll look nice next to Hogwarts. I’m excited to see how it’s available but I hope it isn’t a “spend $100+ on HP only” thing since I’ve already bought all of the new sets.

    I agree. I’m very surprised that Ninjago has never gotten an advent calendar but HP seems like a difficult theme to make one for. Since it’s so location focused as opposed to vehicle focused, I think coming up with minibuilds for more than one calendar would be difficult.

    I’d assume Barnes and Noble would just sell them individually. I’ve never heard of them doing a “spend x amount to get this free item” although I’ve heard of Target and Toys R Us doing it.

    I like the Claire and Owen figures since they have new face prints and Claire’s outfit is nice, but if the figures were all JP based it would be better. I definitely think we should’ve gotten Lockwood or Hammond as a fourth figure instead of yet another baby Blue.
