Wow, those Alien Conquest protos are really cool. Fairly sure that the Alien Queen is in the vehicle. Come to think of it, there could have been a second AQ wave planned for 2012 considering the random absence of Space sets for that year. Does anyone know a good database of unreleased set photos other than Brikipedia?

NK is well on its way to becoming a very successful theme, thank you very much! There's going to be a regular Castle theme soon, don't sweat it. I would say next year or the year after, probably the latter.

What I find interesting is the fact that there are any new prints at all in these figure packs. Usually these kinds of sets are just random collections of parts so they can clear inventory, but I've never come across one with new parts, let alone two. It's highly unlikely, but perhaps there's another wave of Lava Monsters next year?

The Siege Machine actually has a price per piece ratio of under ten cents, but also contains and abundance of large parts, something that the Black Knight's Mech probably will not have. There are also three desirable figures in that set: Clay (Who in his regular form is only in $40+ sets), Flama and General Magmar, while the Mech will probably just have Whiparella (Robin comes in a polybag that everyone except me has). Can't wait to see the mech, and I assume that pictures are coming very soon now that the Samurai X Cave is out there.

They're basically gone now, I think that Lego got the message. The spring-loaded and disc launchers are a massive improvement.

I personally thought that the Black Falcon included in the Kingdoms Joust was pretty lazy. It reused many parts from the Dragon Knights, including the helmet, basic head, torso, and legs. The only new elements were the armor and the shield. Even just a blue plume, which was available at the time, would have made the fig better. I do think that the Black Falcons will come back fairly soon, as well as the Forestmen.

Sorry I'm waaaay late to this, but yeah, I would recommend it. I bought it because I didn't have a base of operations for my 25+ Crooks, but it has a surprising amount of detail, as well as a detachable section and two vehicles.

Sorry if I struck a chord, but Minecraft to me is just a bunch of blocks. Everything is basic and low-quality, and while that is intentional it doesn't take away from the fact that the game is an eyesore. Minecraft is similar to Lego, but it more limited in its capabilities. The Minecraft fanbase itself is (in general) annoying and unrelenting, and they are responsible for the downfall of Youtube, which used to be good a decade ago. I made the comparison to Galidor and Ben 10 simply because of how bad I think the theme is, not the building styles. All I'm saying is that there isn't a need for a Minecraft line and a better, in house theme could be created to take its place.

It's worded poorly, but I largely agree with the article. The Brick Bank and Batcave are disappointing, and Hoth is one of the worst Star Wars D2C sets ever. And The Village. The Village. Minecraft, to be honest, is a digital rip-off of Lego that is intended for seven year olds. Why they're selling sets at almost 200 bucks is beyond me. The Minecraft sets themselves are also in contention with Ben 10 and Galidor for the worst theme of all time. They are simply piles of bricks with a few special prints, and why anyone would dish out more money to buy a Minecraft set rather than cobble together something out their collection boggles my mind.

I agree with this. Unfortunately it seems that Lego has finally started to sell out and is focused on being the biggest instead of maintaining the quality of their products. About of a third of the figures I have purchased since the Lego Movie came out have something wrong with them, and that's not a good sign.
