Piemaster, you might be better off looking on the decal wish list part of the forum. It's under custom minifig section. Having said that I wouldn't mind seeing them on this section, makes them easier to find.

Very nice add-ons! really in keeping with the official set. Just a suggestion but if you join up to the Harry Potter LEGO group on flickr and the LEGO group too, you will increase the amount of views you get on these pictures.

I had to re-read that sentence a few times, you totally confused me! But yes we did know about it. Should be good and hopefully will segway nicely into a regular TV series. i love the CW cartoon.......... much better than the prequels! but it is a bit grown up at times for my little boy who isn't yet 5.

Tron tanked in terms of how they thought it would do in revenue so i seriously doubt we will get a range of that in Lego, although it would look good. Clash of the titans would make a much better range in terms of inspiration and they wouldn't need to license it either! So more profit in the margin. I think the decision to not make LOTR is probably more political than anything. For one thing it has been difficult enough sorting out the rights to the film, if you add a licensing agreement too it will take even longer to sort out. Also, these films are the biggest competition to Star Wars and I can just imagine a rep of George Lucas saying to TLG at renewal time for the license "We'll extend for x amount of years if you steer clear of LOTR" Would love to see it but I honestly don't see it happening. Imagine the sets though! I'd love to see Mass effect as a range but I think it's more likely to fall to MB. Probably a little too violent for kids.

With TPM out next year, does anyone expect us to see a re-release of the MTT? I know traditionally Lego don't re-release sets for a few years but times are obviously a little different now with having a regular weekly cartoon and having all the films coming out on the cinema. I think their usual approach will alter. I sort of hope so, as i missed out on that set before and am loathed to pay the ebay/bricklink prices.

Some of these armies are incredible. Perhaps we should start up a new thread that is sure to turn everyones bowels to liquid.............. How much money do we all spend on ego annually! I reckon I dropped around £1k ast year. possibly more...........

I think moulds for the Quarren and Gran would be fantastic although the Quarren is much more likely. I think new versions of Jabba and the Gamorrean Guards are long overdue............ hmm actually a good Jabba's palace may solve all these issues!!

Last purchase was a bit of a splurge! Bought my boy the Bounty hunter gunship as a present for doing well with his swimming lessons (he's 4), then he wanted me to have one so i "begrudgingly" bought myself the T6 Jedi shuttle.......... then we both thought that the the missus was left out so we got her Grievous's starfighter. Was a good day!

So when will we start hearing rumours about the next wave??

I think on the whole the pricing seems fair but what you have to remember is that Disney may have asked for a larger licensing fee than Lucasarts did. People assume the licenses should be the same price but they won't be. Lucas may not make as much as people think from the lego license as it's good advertising for him. Disney may have seen this as more of a short license and decided to get as much money as they can.

Travellers Tales do seem to knock the games out pretty quickly so it's a real possibility after the 2nd HP game. Don't forget there will be another Clone wars game around the corner too though.

I know this is probably a little premature but when should we expect to start hearing about the next wave of sets coming through?

Not a fan personally, bit of a missed opportunity. They would've been better putting the effort into a new Jabba's palace!

Thanks for taking that constructively mate. Would never want to offend anyone on this forum. I don't actually understand while the US doesn't get sets the same time as everyone else. I can understand Germany, Denmark and some of their neighbouring countries seeing them first, but lego is such a huge market. All they're doing is encouraging grey market sales. And that isn't really in the interests of manufacturers.

Some people who like new sets, or new versions of old sets may not be too enamoured with this idea but I really think they will re-release vehicles from the clone wars cartoon. The AT-TE, the gunship and some of the droid tanks are no longer available but get so much exposure through the cartoon and the new game that I can't see them not capitalising on it. I missed out on some of those vehicles so I'd actually like to see them again.

I hope you're all right! My main concern is that they would potentially have 2 comic book lines running against each other. If they did a marvel line it would likely be through 2012-2013 at the same time any Batman sets would need to come out if they were to capitalise on the last film and Arkham City. I would personally love this! But I'm not sure TLG would see this as being the most profitable course. Sorry if i'm being cynical. I would very much enjoy being wrong!

Sacredvolt, I know it does seem a little bit fussy, but could you please try and improve the structure of your posts. I sometimes have a hard time following and have to re-read your comments. Please remember that English is not the first language for many people in this forum, and for those people that do us the coutesy of using our language, we should show them enough respect to use our language correctly. It's not a dig at you, it's happened plenty of times before and will happen again.

Tin, they would be stupid not to! It will be interesting to see if their figs are as good as your awesome creations!! I'd love to see a Lego Marvel license even if it does kill off the chances of more Batman.

i really agree with your sentiments TJ. I hope they keep the line going but it just depends on what they want to do next year in terms of licenses. It will be a commercial decision in the end so lets hope the HP sets outperformed everything other than SW and then we may get our wish. There is so much potential in this so i think there is a chance. If they plan to resurect Batman for next year though then I think there is no chance.

Surely this has got to happen!! We need an improved Jabba and the Gamorrean Guards. I can't remember who the original set included but I'm sure it would also have Leia in Boushh or slave girl attire, Lando and Carbonite han. I think the max rebo band too. Does anyone think the rancor is a possibility??

Some shops online are expecting them at the beginning of June and Amazon uk, as I said, had them up for release August 1st but pulled them off the site within days. I remember last years summer wave was out at least by the start of July.

I'm bumping this back up as the HP 2011 sets string is getting a few ideas for new sets. I still think we're hoping against hope in getting another wave but you never know. If some of the less successful ranges are not brought back by TLG then they may find themselves having to keep going with it. My brother said to me the other day they should release a set with Sirius Black's bike. You could have it as a £10 set with from either the first film or the last. It meets all the criteria, Pivotal characters, iconic scene and a vehicle. If from PS it could be: Hagrid Harry micro figure Bike Dumbledore or if from DH Hagrid, Harry, Death Eater and Hedwig in cage.

There is already a string open for 2012 set ideas. all these excelelnt ideas would be a good addition to that conversation.

Any news on UK release? 2 weeks ago Amazon uk had them on the website for pre-order with a release date of August 1st but they were all removed within days. I had hoped they would be available in June. Any ideas?
