Thanks to all those who managed to take or find photos for the rest of us. none of the sets exactly blow me away but i will still get the Battle set and possibly the forbidden forest too. I've got a Knight bus and won't be getting another one. i don't even see why they re-did it!

Dies anyone know if and when TLG publish their financial results? It would be interesting to see how well the HP sets have done commercially. If they've done very well then i think 2012 could see more, but unfortunately i'm doubtful. I think our best hope is if PotC crashes and burns and TLG find themselves needing to keep the HP license.

Hi Marco, Out of interest where did you get all your sand-green bricks? I've been having a lot of trouble finding them. Thank you for the links I hadn't seen the pictures from brickshelf before, that is a very nice castle! I actually prefer yours, I know everyone has their own tastes but i like sets that have a good amount of interior detail. Having said that i have an enormous amount of respect for anyone who takes on a project of this size!

Damn good ideas. I'd say if they did the ministry atrium then they should inclused the statues too.

It would be nice to see a Star Trek theme! Loads of scope for sets, new film due and a massive fan base. Unfortunately it would probably conflict with Star Wars too much.

Hi everyone. I posted a few days back regarding some decals needed for a MOC Hogwarts project. Unfortunately my post is now quite far down the thread and I fear no one will see it so I decided to ask again. I am in need of a Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff banner in the style of the Gryffindor and Slytherin banners that are included in the latest Hogwarts castle set 4842. I also need custom minifig torsos and heads for the Patil twins, Cho Chang and Cedric Diggory. Would anyone like to attempt these? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would try this myself but I am on a deadline for various work projects at the moment and I have little free time over the next few weeks.

10or, i was making the point as I'm sure the Builder was that the Dementors role in the final battle is not very large. May be the film will change that as they were cinematically compelling but the Giants played a bigger role in the battle. I'm happy that TLG have made more HP sets but i also think it's a bit of a cop-out. All Malfoy does in the final battle is huddle in a corner of the Great Hall and cry, I'd have preferred characters whose involvement in the final battle was pivotal. I'd have preferred to see Slughorn or a generic death eater or two with different mask prints on each side (Malfoy may well have a mask on the other side but this doesn't make him a generic Death Eater as the films showed them having very individualistic masks.)

Wow, Tohst I didn't know you were on Eurobricks. I first saw your tower on MOCpages I think and i couldn't believe how amazing it was. I am currently doing a tower myself which is nowhere near as aesthetically pleasing as either of yours. My castle is built with playability for my son in mind and also it's very open to allow for stop motion filming. I'd love to be able to adapt this design for that purpose.

Wow I'm a citizen! I'm very excited. Strange set to me. Love the inclusion of Sprout, goyle, Neville and Lupin but unless the film departs from the books there isn't much reason to include the Dementors let alone Lucius Malfoy who does precisely nothing in the battle. I'm really hoping Nagini will be in the FF set now although I'm doubtful.

that's one heck of an involved storyline! Great stuff. I like to create worlds (i write a lot too) and I find that Lego helps unlock my creativity when I'm feeling the creative block. I love watching my son play with the sets I build and I sometimes join in too but it's not like it was when I was a kid. Not sure why, i think it's the billion and one things racing through your mind each day. Having said that i do find lego relaxing and stimulating all at the same time.

Cool design hoiharry. You are a very good MOCer! Love the basement level too, adds a nice touch of story to the whole thing.

I love how you've done this. The kitchen is great. It's a massive project as most of us who've attempted it (or are attempting it) can attest to. Great hall is superb and I love the grand staricase tower. Could you post some interior shots of this? I considered following lego-Tohst's great design too but I found it didn't really suit having a playable interior. How have you changed this?

100% with Pimpommini, I like this but i would suggest losing the colourful flowers and also the edge of the bright green base plate. It detracts from the dark imagery.

Tin these creations are marvellous. I'm about to look through all your figures but all the ones i've seen to date are excellent. Apologies if you've already done it but Mr Sinister would make for a great fig especially with the new collectable minifig hairpieces.

My son is mad on trains and overthe course of the year i've purchased the passenger train, cargo train, TS3 Western train and the Hogwarts express. the cargo train is brilliant in my opinion and would look great with the new Maersk train. The medieval market vilalge is a great purchase too because not only is by far the best set i've bought for the money but it has huge moc'ing potential.

This is a stunning project! Love it. amazingly authentic.
