Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion
Emmi replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Will there be a Disney (Pixar) D2C set then? I mean it could be the same as with the Simpsons line from the last two years - minifigures and D2C set?- 4,155 replies

LEGO should have produced THIS (LEGO Ideas) version http://www.swissgb.ch/lego-ghostbusters-hq-v2/ I think every AFOL as well as Ghostbusters fan would have bought it instantly - it looks superb, I can't find anything bad with this model, unlike the official LEGO Ghostbusters Firehouse HQ set. Why LEGO, why??? -

My thoughts exactly. -
I agree, although I fell in love with the Brick Bank the very first moment I saw pictures of it. I was excited for the GBHQ from its description but I immediately lost interest in it after seeing the interior pictures - a huge letdown for me.

This is a must buy for me - no stickers, all printed pieces, it looks superb from the outside AND inside of course - makes for a great display set! The designer did a great job, I believe it's Jamie, he just makes the best Creator Expert models!

Modular Buildings here I come - somehow I must be happy that this set doesn't appeal to me - I can buy 10251 Brick Bank now and maybe even the DO. For me the Modular Buildings are a step over this set - another plus is how they can be opened, I wonder what is so difficult to use the same technice with sets like this? Sergio's version of the Firehouse HQ is sooo great, I wish they released that version instead - this one is a simple letdown, again I'm speaking of me! -

I'll pass on this set. I can't justify spending EUR 350 on a set that 1. doesn't really fit Ecto 1 inside, 2. doesn't use tiles for the floors and 3. uses stickers! Also I'm not a fan of these opening mechanisms Marcos loves to do, for me it destroyed the Simpsons House, the Kwik-E-Mart and now the Ghostbusters HQ. Sorry I have to say that but I don't like Marcos style. -

But at least for the ground floor they could have gone for tiles - I mean how are we supposed to park Ecto 1 in there at all? -

The 2nd thing that I hate is the lack of tiles for the floors - it started with the Kwik-E-Mart and continues here now - that's Marco's fault, I'm sure if argued right TLC is willing to give him the extra pieces needed. It just looks "unfinished" this way? -

Looks like a lot of stickers , yet again ... is it just me or does Marcos like stickers a lot? I just say Simpsons sets! Also I don't understand the reluctance on LEGO's part to giving us fully finished floors. The set is already one of the most expensive ever - why not thrown in a few more tiles? -

... und jetzt? Der Link ist uns hier schon seit Wochen bekannt. Wir warten sehnsüchtig auf das Designer Video sowie auf die Interior Bilder. -

Nothing is coming today, sadly ... I'm quite confident. -

Are we sure it's coming today? I suppose it should be on the internet by now if the reveal was supposed for today? -
The only set I'll get from the Technic 1H wave is the Go-Kart - it looks cool and has some nice functions to it. The helicopter doesn't appeal to me (I already have the Cargo Plane from 2014 and this one is more or less the same ..., the dragster seemed awesome from the description but simply looks ugly, the Airport Rescue Vehicle is ok but nothing I want to buy. I think 2H sets will all be masterpieces - but I'm most excited for this 'Ultimate Vehicle' or 'Ultimate IP Car'.

I hope it's not just the Clock Tower (sth like the Architecture version but much much bigger and more advanced) - also it seems like LEGO is doing a lot of UK buildings, any reason behind that?
