  1. 9398 (2 x L motor, 1 x servo), 8043 (4 x M motor, 4 x LA's, tracks), 8110 (pneumatics), 42000 (car parts), 42021 (new wheels and new parts), 42023 (new suspension parts, new panels) are excellent parts packs. Edit: ah, you already have 9398 and 8110.
  2. They should simply hire Sheepo and Crowkillers, then you'd get some nice cars
  3. I think those have more or less the same diameter right? Just broader.
  4. You misunderstood me, I think the tires used are a bit small for a car that size. But then again, there aren't any bigger ones available.
  5. I'd expect it to be 5% or less really. Probably only Lego has those figures.
  6. Yep. The problem is some AFOLs expecting Lego to market their products towards them, rather than kids. That's just silly.
  7. You really think kids are going to buy that? Remember, Lego is marketed towards kids.
  8. Lego is marketed for kids, not AFOLs. Lego is selling really, really well. End of discussion. Haha, more or less my thoughts when seeing the thread title
  9. I like the spoiler you've added, turns the whole thing into a gorgeous streamlined masterpiece
  10. Offtopic but have to give you a thumbs up for this post. My thoughts exactly. Mods could do some serious cleanup in this thread, starting with my post.
  11. Yep, it also occurs with red Technic parts (and also with non-Technic parts). Quality has been steadily dropping over the years, unfortunately. Might have something to do with the outsourcing of brick production to China.
  12. Some Technic idioms can indeed become a bit stale/tiring, maybe an idea for a new topic
  13. Four wheels, one M motor (or servo, if you have one) for steering, one XL for drive, 1 receiver and 1 remote (made suitable for steering a la 9398's remote). Doesn't get much simpler than that ;-) Here's a simple RC racing MOC, but it requires a buggy motor: http://www.jurgenstechniccorner.com/redracecar.html
  14. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=84349&st=50#entry1766990 Well, that's quite a drastic swing in opinion ;-)
  15. Very beautiful. Wish I had more studded Lego so I could try a hand at all those Model Team beauties being posted here ... What's the part count? Total weight?
  16. 42006 has slightly more functionality with its grabber, as opposed to 8294 'auto-rotating' bucket, so I'd rate 42006 slightly above 8294. Both are very good though. I assume you'd motorize them both.
  17. Have to add a vote for 8041. I never apply stickers, so it's really ugly.. and there is no interesting Technic functionality, at all. A 'working' engine and HOG steering. Yay.
  18. Just wondering: have you tried 8294, 9396 and 42006?
  19. Well, I'd rather have full RC than pneumatics. And yes, hubs will be yellow.
  20. Basically going to be the 8043's 'successor' Can't wait, the 1H models have been a bit disappointing IMO.
  21. The building experience is good - some clever techniques used - and the end result looks good. The operation is kinda iffy though, I agree with that.
  22. SV = servo. 1 XL for drive, 2 L's for the bucket, 1 servo for steering. 2 IR v2's and controllers for RC.
