  1. I don't think there are many train fans among Technic collectors. I think earth moving machinery or agricultural equipment would do better. If you look back at what sets are going for high prices second hand, you'll see 8275, 8455, 8043, 42030, 8110 are still very high priced.
  2. I can't get over the fact that you managed to get so many functions in such a small body. Very well done, quite an engendering marble.
  3. That is also fine with me. But it must be the biggest one, I think it's the Axion 950. Would be so cool. Or maybe a Fendt 1050 Vario, also a well known European brand. Also has red rims. And it has dark green hood and cab.
  4. Are you making some kind of instructions for these mods??? Would like them, because I ain't a modification and building expert. More of a collector who uses other peoples mods on his collection.
  5. A John Deere would be nice to, but than I would like to see a articulated quadtrack tractor from them. One like The 9560 R for instance. A lot of green parts would be a welcome change in Technic colors. And it has a different kind off track configuration.
  6. I would love to see a Volvo road grader, RC if possible. Or a Claas tractor, a normal one with two different size tires. A smaller size than on the Xerion's wheels on the front.
  7. Just saying, I think this set is ugly IMO, I liked it at first, buy when MLonger came up with his Loader, the only thing I see this set being useful for is parts. Will only buy a second hand one for the parts I can use for the L250G, the rest for other MOC models that I want to build in the future.
  8. At first glance it looked bigger. But as the builder said already, the truck from Toby did give him son inspiration. So wasn't completely a useless link.
  9. This is still the best thing to do with this set: http://rebrickable.com/mocs/M_longer/volvo-l250g-wheel-loader
  10. Sorry, you've right, saw it later on it uses wheels like 8258.
  11. https://m.flickr.com/#/photos/legotobi/ This link is to the Flickr photostream from Töbydesign, he builds lego models. He had build an amazing Actros SLT in about the same size as yours, it's a studded design, but it might give you an idea about what Max is saying.
  12. Congratulations Lucio on the baby that's coming soon!!!
  13. The truck looks very good so far. The thing that is really off for me is the cabin doors, the windows it them are to small.
  14. I don't think that most prices asked for instructions are to high, people spend hundreds of hours making instructions, other people test them and when they are good, they are up for sale. TLG gets there instructions paid for by selling thousands off copies from the same model. Expensive MOC instructions are maybe sold to let's say a hundred people, so the price per copy has to be higher to pay for all the time put in to them. I have an MOC on my wish list, it's a truck, for display, so no motors, but very, very, highly detailed. It will cost around €50,- for instructions alone, why you might ask? Because he has spend months off work on it and only a few people will buy them, maybe five or ten people. It's a steep price, but I am willing to pay that amount of money to have a rare MOC on my shelf
  15. Please don't, this is almost impossible for me to achieve, a beautiful trailer would mean a serious deathblow for my wallet for the next decade or so.
  16. Love the ideas about the mods already, make instructions and I want it.
  17. Well, the problem is, that the better MOC's don't have free instructions. Like Lucio's new dumptruck and Jurgens Manitou telehandler. Also Designer Han's models aren't free anymore. Which I can understand since multiple persons are selling them online in Holland. My opinion on that is that you should not do this. If you buy instructions, you should only build it for yourself. Don't sell it, if someone wants the MOC, they can buy the instructions and parts themselves.
  18. I second that. I to check partslists before I will buy them. I have bought one set of instructions in the past, but I will never built it, lost interest in it, there is already a better version of it, that is more interesting to me.
  19. Me to, but I think they will be very expensive, just like the V2 pneumatic cylinders. And out of stock very quickly.
  20. I'm hoping on a pneumatic update on it. With the V2 pneumatics
  21. I am at the same page, but I can't speak for someone else.
  22. I am a collector to, but most MOC's I really want to build cost money. My budget is even tighter that the ones mentioned above, it is between €150,- and €250,- per year. It took me four years to build the Actros from Sandman. I really don't mind that people are asking money for there great instructions, often better then those from TLG. And like said above, you could indeed wright a pm and ask if the person would consider giving you a discount.
  23. So there Will come a mod for the crane to get it back to the prelim one.
  24. Sure, it will work, but having to clean up a printed part on a new set, come on, you don't want to do that with a new set.
