  1. Hello Jurgen, I did see the Zorex 220 on Brickshelf, very nice work. Indeed beautiful color, are these the original colors of the real excavator or is it your own choice? I can't wait to see the instructions. I am hoping to buy a 8043 this year and if I do, I am going to build it with the instructions of your ultimate 8043. It is going to be expensive, but it looks and functions better than the original TLC excavator. Grretings Christian Hagen Netherlands
  2. Seems to be a nice new tot. There can I find more info on this thing. If it is not to expencive when released and absolutely sage, I kutbrug buy it. Will be cool to controle my sets with PF with my smartphone.
  3. Hallo Tim, The solution you give won't work, there is a 19t gear on the bottom of the XL motor and that goes directly on fo the differential. I've looked at it and I don't see a way to make a gear reduction in the little space there is. At least not if you build it with the instructies on brickshelf that are mentioned above. Christian
  4. Hallo, I've build it to, but de drivemotor gear keeps slipping over the gear of the differential. I've put in a guidewheel from 8275 to push it harder on to the differential gear, but it keeps slipping. Does anyone know how to stop this from happening. Greetings from Christian
  5. Hello Fyredog, It has been some time since I've heard from you. I would love to see and download the instructions for the excavator when you have them. Can you also make a list of the extra parts I will have to use to build it? And please give the partsnumbers used by TLC, because looking them up at Peeron to see in what sets they are takes ages. Thanks so far and keep the good work up. Christian
  6. Hello Fyredog, I have seen the video and I like the way it moves. I also would like to know the extra parts you have used to build your version. I am going to buy the set next year, but to build it like yours, I will have to buy the extra parts used, because I don't own much extra parts. I only have complete sets, and the ones I have, I don't want to take apart to build the version you made. It has two rechargeble batterypacs and extra motors I don't have. I also plan to buy 8265 and make it RC with the instructions I found at Brickshelf. Hope to here from you soon. Christian
  7. Hello Fyredog, I already have the picts from Brickshelf, but I'm not that great of a builder yet. The only moc I've build is a tractor unit based on the cranetruck 8868. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=421631 I like it, but it's very simple. I have to make a trailerplate yet, but I don't have the parts yet. I'll be waiting for the instructions. Does your version work better than the original? Greetings Dafgek81
  8. Hello brickbraines, I am Christian from The Netherlands, I am a new member on the forum. I am a truckdriver for over 5 years and driving a truck is my greatest passion. In my spare time I like to build Lego models, mostly standerd sets. I started collecting a year or 4 ago, but love Lego since I was a little boy, but my parents did not give me much of the stuff. So I had to start over when I got a House(life) of my own. I also like to build plastic truckmodels (Revell/Atelari) in scale 1/24. I also have a big pond in my garden. Hope to enjoy the forum. Greetings from Christian
  9. Hello Fyredog, I like the modified version you made, I hope to buy the original version next year. Can you post more detaled picts of the undercarrige of your crane. When I buy it, I wnat to build it like yours, I like it more than the original version. Greetings from Holland Dafgek81
