  1. Can't wait to see beautiful mods and attachments for this beauty. But I also have a somewhat related question for you people, I also own the 8284 tractor. I will buy the new tires to but on the back and search for 3rd party tires to put on the front. But I would like to know if there are existing parts to recreate the rear wheel assembly from the new class on the front wheels of the 8284 tractor.
  2. I guess so to, but it could change with a new type of tire, but we'll see what's coming. Definitely going to buy this one and maybe the Volvo excavator.
  3. Maybe this question has been asked here, but I haven't read all posts in this topic. How are the new tires on this tractor, are the good rubber tires ore are they stiff plastic like ones? Hope they are like the tires on the Unimog, flexible, but stiff enough to carry some weight.
  4. Look at the site from Sariel, http://tools.sariel.pl/ On this site there is a wheel chart, here you can find almost all the wheels, their rimsizes, and weight.
  5. It is the ok type, the ones used in 8868 and 8862. Nothing cracked, but it seems like the cover that clicks on the housing to hold the black lever in place is giving way.
  6. 10 tires and rims from 24x43 wheels for only €15,-
  7. My Actros is finished, hope to order the clamshell buckets soon.
  8. I have a few old type pneumatic switches, some of them are starting to leak air under pressure. Can this problem be fixed. I hope so, even if it takes using glue, I am open for options.
  9. I have good news!!!! Apart from stickers and the clamshell bucket, it is done. Took about 11,5 meters of pneumatic hose, but it's done. Only downside, the old motor on the compressor does not have enough torque to build the pressure for all things to work. Have to replace it with a M-motor and a PF to old 9V connector. Placed photos on Brickshelf, but will have to wait till it's public. http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=561622 Or for the ones that have Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/christian.hagen.54/media_set?set=a.1175527535808932.1073741877.100000550908134&type=3
  10. I won't be buying this set, because I just don't care about supercars. I do see the technical advancement in this car, it's big and packed with technical details, but it is still just a car. If I were to buy this, it would be for parts to use in trucks or construction equipment MOC's I want to reproduce by instructions from other builders. Money wise I can not say I do not want to spend so much money on one set. I hope to finish my Actros and trailer soon, I has cost me at least twice as much as the Porsche. But this set lacks functionally for me, that is my main reason for not buying it.
  11. What are those third party tires, would they fit Original unimog rims?
  12. The only thing that is a little on the downside for me is the speed off the driving, it's slow, but that is not so surprising due to the massive weight off this machine.
  13. I really like This, the massive scale it's build in, very nice. Also the details. Like the way you set up the tilting mechanism, a new WA for me, but if it works....why not. Would love to see it next to my Actros, it is in a bit smaller scale, used the old 20x43 wheels. Weighs about 3,5kg
  14. Well, it is the truck Sandman build years ago. I've just build it with the instructions, so can't take the credit for this beautiful model. I've only made some small mods, but most of them aren't visible from the outside, the rooflights are my own idea. Only the trailer is part own design. I'm asking Toby to make me stickers for the truck. Will be very cool when completely done.
  15. Great news, the Actros is almost done. A few plates and pneumatic parts and it is finished! Also a trailer with a side tipping dumpbed is almost done. It is 126 cm long with the trailer. Pics on Brickshelf, maybe not yet public
  16. Do the Mini en VW Camper have no steering at all???
  17. Looks very nice, the price is very steep, but it will look so cool.
  18. Hi Efferman, That is some work off art. Will be ordering these soon. Do they come as a pair, both for one price? In black or grey to?
  19. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=618390 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=6365679 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=6365680 First picture are the original buckets. Second and third picture are the attachment points. I think the original buckets are a bit bulky, but I think you can make something that will fit this crane.
  20. Hey Efferman, When are You putting up the clamshell buckets?? I hope to order all the parts I need for both the Actros and a tipping trailer and tubing next week. I would like to get cool buckets for it to so I can really finish it. And I'll order the towball socket then to.
  21. That's why I like the Actros I am building so much, brick cabin, dumpbed and chassis, but lots off Technic along that...
  22. This would give a tremendous amount of torque on a bulldozer in that size.
