I think it's for identification purposes, like the beasts of IFB. Skull being their gang/species. Basher obviously has a Bashing function, Grinder(Kulta) likes destroying masks, Slicer has 3 blades, etc.

That spread looks nice. Lewa whipping out them katanas, Tahu being badass for the sake of being a badass, Grinder has an actual name. Hopefully the Protector's have names also. And does that mean LoSS is only a servant of Kulta, as they said Kulta is more powerful?

G2 Bohrok Concepts -- Feel free to join in!

Also, clone sets were a great way to get recolors for MoCing. -
^Ekimu wasn't listed yet the playtester claimed he was a set, I thought? And why would there be only six sets in the first wave next year? Seems odd. Edit: Mask Hunter sounds like it could be an Ekimu set, my bad. x_x

People seem to be forgetting the playtester "info". The person said something along the lines of six smaller sets. Those could easily be protagonists, plus the rumored Ekimu. Of course this is all considering that the rumors are legit. Personally I don't want the Toa, or new larger protagonists in the winter wave next year. The way it was this year didn't set all too well with me having 12-1 heroes/villains with only the Skull Spiders as an appetizer. Besides, what's keeping them from continuing to produce this year's winter wave into next year? That's all based on HF's system. I remember years ago the production of sets could span 1-2 additional years. Although I don't keep track of system anymore so maybe they changed the production schedule completely, I have no idea.

Ghost in the CCBS Shell, eh? Also it's possible, the other leak mentioned 3 large sets, and 4 medium, right? One being Ekimu while the other two were villains. Who knows though.

Agreed, sounds pretty badass. I almost forgot about Meltdown's trans apple green pieces. Hm. Also brings to mind the use of his tentacle, I like your idea implementing the bones instead. My opinion on that Kalmah tentacle is pretty neutral, lol. Sorry for making this off-topic. x_x

I'm just happy we'll be getting hopefully decent and plentiful story material. Don't have much to go on right now.

Anyone else notice how the Toa have similar poses on their boxes this year and with their Mata forms? Most noticeable on Tahu, Kopaka, and Onua's.

^Ah, that reminds me I want a video game as well. Although I think an open world hack n slash would be fitting. What with the Toa's killer melee weapons and such, but with a side of exploration.

Mmm, I like Basher's function. Also, does the Scorpion/Grinder combo have the new bone bones as supports for the legs? My phone won't load large enough pictures. x_x

I almost really like that torso, its small size reminds me of the early G1 years, also looks more affordable.

Ah crap, if those statements are legit then they're already swapping gears for shooters. Damn. Other then that those sound somewhat promising, trans yellow, a whip, tan- YES. Also I like the potential for 12 more villains and Toa Ekimu as I don't want to see the Toa get new forms just that early, but since they'll most likely play a key role I wonder if tlg will keep the sets circulating that far into production. Recent years one year seems to be deadline, right? Years ago it was two to three but maybe it was just HF's lack of sales that scratched that. Also dat graphic novel detail juciness is getting me excited. I feels like a lil' boy again.

^Of course I usually wait until they appear on the internet these days. Too old to be store hopping like I did in my youth. *sigh* I know HF 2013 appeared online at shop at home in July so that's the earliest I believe they will appear. :P P.s: I'm speaking for the US here. I'm not sure of other countries(average american view I suppose...)

This occurred to me again that I would also really like to see another build similar to Witch Doctors in at least somewhere in Gen 2, not an exact copy but similar in complexity and size. One of the things CCBS had going for me was products like that. Maybe even a larger price point? I wonder how large a humanoid figure can be with CCBS... v@vexorian You're joking right?

Then I vouch for Tuma remake.

^Even if they don't know wheather they're male or female? My post was about the kids who "only care about the action figures". It's not like the boxes have "female" on them so to a kid it could go either way. :P Besides it'd be a good lesson about equality otherwise. This isn't the 1950's anymore. XD
-
Yesssss, more females. I never saw why gender was an issue(let's not start this conversation again btw). The fans who like story really don't see a gender problem(and those who have one should get over it because it's kind of immature), and the kids who only care about the action figures only care about, obviously, the action figures. I for one love having variety amongst both genders in fictional works and such. Also if they do make more I would like them to have strong personalities, not the stereotypical-has-to-be-objectified-because-it's-an-action-theme but it's a toy sooooo that won't happen anyways, thankfully. c_c
