Decided to ask here instead of the set discussion for Bionicle. Any hopes for the Toa's looks/weapons next year? The only one I can think of is that I want Tahu to continue the Samurai look. I love that this year.

The only box I have that is slightly messed up is my Kopaka box which I picked up at Target. I ordered Onua, Gali, Korgot, and Nilku off of the internet back in March and their boxes came undamaged. Maybe it's a region thing? But I agree they are flimsy, but I love the shape. And a con with bags, other then my personal dislike for them, is showcasing them. They were real easy to get all jumbled in certain areas and a tad hard to actually tell what set is what to the untrained eye(like a small child in a toy aisle). Therefore they're probably not best for sales.

Maybe the creatures will have recolored Toa masks from this year, while the new Toa have new molds. Similar to how the rahi in 01' had all them fancy Kanohi colors. :3 I just hope they are villains, because I'm not all for the 12 vs 1 thing again. Also maybe Umarak is... a Dark Hunter.

This isn't as much a wish as it is an idea; Cardboard scenery. Seeing the new polybag with the cardboard pedestal sort of gave me this idea. And seeing as how a kid would probably be more interested in playing with a set then collecting the boxes why not give the boxes a function of the sorts? And yes, mask packs.

Agreed, it will be frustrating having to go back and forth between topics. Also, if the small sets were Bohrok themed maybe they launch a "Krana" at the Toa, and the Toa contain a Krana in their sets as well? Like the battle in a set thing. Just throwing that out there.

They went fairly out of their way to start G2 off, and it all depends on how the sets do sales wise. As this is the second year which they probably designed this year I'd expect about similar treatment, so 18 sets and maybe recolored pieces for the small sets, new Toa mask molds, etc. 2017 is when we should probably know how Bio is doing by the numbers of sets we get and such(unless they tell us how it's doing). You can see the decrease in design quality on HF in 2013 seeing how they decided to bring back Bionicle. Also, maybe you all could continue this in the 2016 wishlist topic?

So, internet, got any of them... 2016 pictures? Anyways I was kind of hoping for winter villains, and what if the 'C' in the smaller sets stands for Crawler? Could be small horde villains and if so I can live with that. :P

Maybe they should make larger sets but produce less quantity? I too would like larger sets, especially titans. Edit: 15000th post on this topic. :D

Well on the sets themselves they seemed large, but not everything was proportionate back in the early years, not that they looked bad or anything. But yeah, I think they designed the masks this year specifically with the sets in mind, sadly not the MoCs :c but oh well. When I start my G2 MoCs later this year I'll be designing them with the new proportions. I have a couple of MoCs mixing G1, Technic, and CCBS as well, but one has Hewkii Mahri's mask(my self moc) and the other has a customized head. I can see how using the Toa masks on any larger set would look off. But if we get larger sets next year they could provide larger masks, look at Takanuva 2008 with the canister sets for example, they increased the size ratio to fit his figure better, and seeing as how I'll never create something to his scale I'm stuck with the mask(unless I rebuild him) ._.

You using G1 limbs? I feel the proportions with the actual sets are are just about right. And personally I felt the Mata Kanohi were a bit oversized, but that was for the function, I think.

I'm still conflicted about Rocka BA's green sword, and Aquagon's blue swords. What colors were those? Were they trying to be translucent?

I really like the way the city looks. Maybe it doesn't have such a unique backstory, though it's too early to judge that. It kind of reminds me of the the ruins in Shadow of The Colossus, which I think fits well for Bionicle.

I always said that I didn't care how it would come back but if it was branded with the name Bionicle I would be complete.
