    Well, Nidihki was a Toa, then he became a Dark Hunter so there's backstory and an unlikable Toa(who are suppose to be heroes). Scarce and not exactly what you mentioned but it's close enough. Also, the Piraka didn't work for Teridax or any Makuta(did they? I followed comics not books.).

    I'm at a loss between Vizuna or Korgot of who my favorite Protector is. I love Vizuna's bow weapon(makes for great posing), but Korgot has a gun built into her, if that doesn't show character then I don't know what does. But then again Narmoto is a badass Japanese-esqu name.

    The heights don't bother me too much. Scorpio and Basher are pitted against Pohatu and Onua respectively and those figures are pretty damn short. Warrior is a soldier unit so there are plenty of them(story wise) to be a formidable menace to the Toa, but compared to Kopaka is off-putting, but like I said; multiple units. Did anybody complain about the Bohrok, Vahki, or Visorak heights? As for Slicer, I'm not too sure how his height is compared to Lewa but isn't he like two modules(right term?) smaller? If so, I can live with that. And then Kulta is even with Tahu so that's good enough for me.

    ^Niiiice. I like variety in armies. I guess that means Basher and Slicer could be like commanders under Kulta?

    That's not bad considering inflation. 178(?) pieces that are primarily CCBS is about equal to $29.99. My problem with TRU is that they use to markup the prices. I think I paid $39.99 for Witch Doctor in '11, even though I think he was $29-34.99 range. Thanks btw! :D I just might have to check my local.

    Well Vastus was post-08 so that's where the problem is at. I haven't bought Ehlek but I do have trans ice-blue and fire-orange(both those color names are probably wrong but I'm just guessing) from 06-07 and so far they're fine.

    It's odd to see that some people haven't had problems with G1 sockets post-08 but have had problems with CCBS. Hm. Personally, my post-08 sockets always broke. *Looks at complete 08 Nuva Team on shelf with despair* Prior to that, and Hahli Mahri aside, I've only had like two connectors break, one was even half of the side of the arch(which was odd because I have no idea how that would happen). CCBS on the other hand, I haven't had more then one issue, which was a silver hand losing friction, which was my fault from removing it and placing it over n over n over again. ;-;

    Ugh, those are a lil more complicated then G1's but awesome nonetheless! Showing they don't seem to have a problem getting more in depth. Oh man, the nostalgia's getting to me!

    Oooooh if only combos like this were in the story. This might actually be the very first combo I get duplicates for the purpose of combining.

    Hopefully they have more prominence in the books and graphic novel. But the sets themselves just seem to have a sort of individualized character to each as they are.

    Well checked out my local-ish Target, no summer sets. Finished my winter wave though, dignity not intact. ;-; Having all of the Protector's in hand, it's sad they don't get much love.

    Yeah I was thinking that in my prior post of where they could store them, and knowing the sets- Nowhere. I guess the Protector's could, you know, "Protect" them. In promotional material like this months magazine with Lewa and Tahu fighting Kulta and the bunch they are wearing their original masks, but who knows if that's canon... Edit: Seems Aanchir has a theory... ^

    Everyone has their opinions, and they'll do and say whatever to justify them. Just the way the world turns. I love both systems, as long as CCBS sticks with functions and variety. B)
