Having all of these 2015 sets in hand, it's making me look back at HF and think-"Wow, my expectations for those sets were fairly low." Not that I dislike them, I mean there were some really amazing sets throughout the years, but compared to G2 Bionicle? The large majority of HF can't match the new sstandards in my opinion. Well, probably going to scrap quite a few for MoCs and shelf space.

Well, if that's how you feel I suppose. Definitely look into as many reviews as possible if you ever contemplate buying it. My only criticism would be Ekimu, I see the shield as a bit pointless while his hammer is rather small length-wise, and the green eyestalk is a bit meh compared to a blue one.

I was mainly joking about how great the MoCr looks, I knew the stand was for it. :S The Protector mask looks nice too, but I mean... the MoCr is amazing. Anybody hoping for an Ignika remake?

Got MMvSG and Basher in the mail today. Loving them both already, especially Basher's function. And what's the stand in MMvSG for? The Protector's mask? Cause I'm not putting anything but the MoCr on Ekimu.

How exactly are we suppose to discuss story without sets and sets without story? There are going to be a lot of apologies in these threads for "going off-topic". What was wrong with a standard year thread, again? I call for an end to the seperation!

But the Ghost Leak coincides with the playtester report, whether those claims were legitimate remains to be seen. But if we are going by that information then clearly Mask Hunter is not Umarak as the playtester report states the presumed Mask Hunter as a larger Ekimu, and white and gold I believe. Umarak, I believe is more or less confirmed as black in primary color by another user who knows a shop owner(this was before Nekchir, not him). I suppose nothing is confirmed though. Speaking of which, when can we expect summer 2016 pictures?(joke)

So you would say Nex 2.0 was an evolution visually or functionally? Clarification so we can avoid any arguments and people justifying why they are right and why others are wrong like people usually do; I'm not saying sacrifice all current CCBS pieces in existence or the aesthetic, I simply said "more" detail akin to G1. It is Bionicle, afterall, not Hero Factory. I understand the design choice of CCBS is allegedly-I-don't-know-if-officially 'bland, smooth, cheap(y'all love this word), etc.' to fit a vast majority of possibility. Robots, organic organisms, other dimensional beings, whatever. I just want more detail, because standalone, they're beams and blocks with very little other defining features. All I want is more detail, not that I'm right or wrong to others, but because I'm a slave to my personal preferences. That is all, because this is a wishlist thread.

I hope the creatures work for Umarak instead. I ain't gonna be happy with that 12v1 release again so hopefully he's hunting the Toa.

I've always kind of wondered about the 7months/5months release schedule. I know summer sets appear sometimes in June and winter in December but the official releases are August/January. Why the odd release dates? Wouldn't it make more sense to be every six months officially?

If they added detail resembling G1 pieces to the shells wouldn't they be saving money on plastic? I know the cost for new molds would be high but having little details carved out would lower the amount of plastic needed, right? Might add frailty though, I guess. Either way I hope we get more add-ons that resemble the old aesthetic, and multiple molds circulating... and in more colors. I guess it shouldn't be too much of a problem. I thought they had already retired the HF add-ons but I didn't realize the sw ultrabuilds use them. Except that round one, right? Havn't seen that since 13'.

Really? Is it non ultrabuild? XD I'm not really up to date on non-constraction pieces, my bad. And yeah, menacing creatures(animals/rahi) would be welcome, as we haven't seen something along those lines since 2011. Spiders DON'T COUNT. Lol Edit: Looking at the animation again is the piece you're talking about the one used on Stormer 2013's sword, also on Frost Beast and Dragon Bolt?

Well, I'd think we will be getting the Mask of Control next year in a set, and Makuta is designed with some decent detail in the animation, being how his hammer has a Kaiju fin and a small spike and armor and such. But I guess whether those details hint at a set or not will remain to be seen, I just think it's odd adding them... but then maybe it's not odd? Plus adding a set in some sort of promotion a year and a half prior to release of said set would be really untraditional. As for what role his mask plays next year, maybe a new villain gains a hold of it and controls the wildlife, like 2001. If that's the case I want Rahi remakes in the summer...

Random question; is Lewa 2015's green a new constraction color or is it like his Mata form(I only got Tahu way back when so my Mata colors knowledge isn't so great :3)? It's hard to tell from the CGI covers and such.

Well, as I've no hope for a golden Skull mask in the North of the Americas I ordered my first batch of Skull villains, MMvsSG and Basher. Now I wait.

Wouldn't it be better if TLG promoted sets prior to a fixed release? I know they do with special edition sets but seriously they expect people to just wait until January/August 1st for others? Last year they promoted the sets at NYCC but I doubt they'll do that again.
