I had a lot of fun, personally, with the 2008 sets. And Tahu and Kopaka are still amazing to me. If I had to guess, hm, I'd say 2010 was the worst; 1. The sets, do people even remember the sets?! 2. The story ending was kind of 'abrupt'. Sure, and awesome giant robot fight, but from my knowledge the last time I read the last two comics the fight wasn't even really emphasized on was it? And Teridax died when a piece of Aqua Magna hit his head... 3. That was the end of the figure line. Just my thoughts.

He killing me. ;-; Well the information he gave us sounds decent enough. A cape, huh. At first I was thinking "ew" but as I was typing I suddenly remember how awesome Vezon's and Kharazani(had the set and all these years later still don't know how to spell it)'s were. Hopefully in the same style? Or is it similar to Furno XL's? And do the new armor and chest have pistons? Don't need to answer just throwing it out there. :3

I love LoSS' s function, and the set is what it is. My only problems are mainly unrelated to the set, but the character. The fact that he is a singular enemy vs 6 or 12, and at his small size, got on my nerves as he was the only proper villain for the winter wave. I'd rather that release formation not be continued.

The Skull Spider mask? That has 4 recolors... I thought... Edit: The Protector's masks completely fell out of existence in my mind. I'm an idiot, my bad. :3

Pohatu is definately my least favorite Toa this year. I love the asymmetry in the arms, and how that's a trait he shares with his Protector counterpart but the mask is not his best feature, which is a shame because I love his Mata Kakama. It's the extra vents on his temples that ruin it for me, and how large the circle on the face is compared to his Mata Kakama's. Also I feel his gearbox is too low, which is a simple fix as it requires no extra pieces to raise but I've only modded about 3 figures in recent years so I'm not a huge fan of modding my own. I mean, as long as we're on the subject of Pohatu...

I say less metalics in general. It seems that silver and gold in the early years of G1 were treated as 'special'. The Nuva release featuring silver armor and weapons, then the Bohrok Kal in the same manner, then Takanuva debuts gold, but fast forward 12 years later and it's common place. It doesn't bother me too much but I'd like to see some more solid colors.

Huh, my Kopaka arm is loose in certain positions, too. I didn't think his weapon was all that heavy either.

Ha, yeah I used a similar site immediately after posting my previous comment and that's what I got. I still appreciate MMvsSG though. And Umarak will have to have a fairly weak "hound" build-wise to warrant Umarak him/herself to be equal to a 14.99 set.

Not sure what country you're in but keep inflation in mind when comparing MMvsSG and Maxilos and Spinax. 30 $/€ then 8 years ago won't get you the same amount now. A set like Maxilos probably would be near 34.99-39.99 nowadays. I could be wrong though. And Umarak is 19.99 I believe so don't expect too much sadly.

That's very contributing to this topic. Thank you. Anyways what if the creatures have all new mask molds and the Toa need to get them for themselves? Kind of crappy way at getting sales, buy hey, that's business.

Hopefully it makes it's way to other countries and soon. The only reason I'm holding out on summer sets is for this mask. ;-; Of course I could always buy moc supplies. The thing that worries me is that it's apparently only given out at a select store which I, in the states, haven't heard of.

Not sure if this is news but someone else has the new polybag on reddit which is apparently given away at a store if you buy two medium sized sets or MMvsSG. Russia only thus far.
