Sorry for posting here again but I was just thinking, and I'm pretty sure somebody mentioned this already, but for the people who have this set in hand, do you think it could have benefited from a 5$/€ price bump like the larger Toa this year? I'm sure that's pretty obvious seeing how the legs are but you know. Plus this wave lacks a medium-large set.

Even Nui-Jaga had leg articulation. I guess adding single ball pieces where the legs connect, and then adding a single CCBS limb on each would have eaten up the budget? ._. Still, I like the function.

Okay okay, I've come to a personal conclusion on the exclusive mask and price topic; it's a piece of plastic. It's nice looking and all but I mean it's probably like what? 35 Cents worth of plastic? .__. I'll pass.

Man, I thought I was considered anti-CCBS around here(which I'm not!). I definitely wouldn't say CCBS isn't as good as Gen1Bio system, but it's a matter of opinion. Personally: What looks better overall: The Gen 1 "Aesthetic". What functions better overall: Both on their own and with each other. What holds up better overall: CCBS. Come on guys, it's here to stay. No use complaining about it. ._. Especially in the 2015 Discussion thread. I highly doubt Bashing(hehe) CCBS in a topic completely created around the sets that implement it is contributing to this thread, and it's only going to start fights. -
I'm debating one of these masks myself. *Sips Fine Wine* I'll see come tuesday. If it's at 35 or so I'll probably give in. Now the real question is should you open it or not? ; P

Ahhh yeah, Nuparu Inika got me into collecting Bio mainstream. Of course I still got at least one each year prior, my first was Tahu Mata, but the first one was missing his mask and sword in the container so I had to get a replacement in 02', can ya believe that? Anybody? ...anyways, I should rebuild Nuparu, and the bulk of my G1, but them 08' sockets scare me. XD And Hahli Mahri is pretty much impossible due to those soooo...

Anybody else note the Phatoka Makuta ribcage similarities with that new piece? XD I mean, it's just a ribcage but I'm just pointing it out... yeah this post was pointless but I have nothing better to do until summer sets come out in the states so...

^People might argue that those regions are the primary targeted market. I'm not saying that, I'm just a consumer, but others might state that. On a side note, got my magazine today. :D A whole two pages of Bionicle. Mmm.

I post my wishes here a lot but here's another! More exploration of Okoto. Reviewing my lil' map makes me realize how unique the geometry and full of mystery it is when compared with the (awesome)islands of G1.

Let me ask, in the commercial did Kulta put the MoCr on his Skull mask or take his mask off and put it on? Might not answer wheather they're masks or not but might help give some insight. Also, commercials tend to not be canon to story these days...

Personally; You have the sets, you have the kids/people who show interest in the sets, the kids/people who buy the sets, and the kids/people who turn into fans of the sets, and the longtime fans of the theme. If you have someone who genuinely cares about the story they're going to want more, like names(or not), where I think it would be fitting to AT LEAST be put into books/comics and other material for those who will take the time to actually read. If someone wants to call Skull Grinder "Skull Grinder" or Kulta then let them, as with Ekimu/Mask Maker, but supply the options, you know. Edit: There are two Slicer's in that commercial...

I understand all of that, and I was happy with the way it ended. Could it have been better? Yes. But was it good? In my opinion, yes. Set wise it just wasn't the way I thought a theme that pulled tlg out of the financial gutter would go down. Plus Gresh and Skrall? What? Where was the Bohrok, or Vahki, or Visorak... but that's all just my personal opinion. XD

Furno Breakout was actually a bit of a letdown to me. I know the whole "fire guy underwater" thing was suppose to be ironic but something about the actual set just put me off(still bought it). I always thought it was the red and white color scheme but I've seen other things with that pallet that were still appealing. Maybe it has something to do with the water jets that made his figure look goofy, idk. On the thought of an underwater them, I loved 07, but that was 5 1/2 years after the theme premiered, so if it were to happen in Gen 2 I would be okay with it happening later then sooner. Maybe if the theme continues past the 3 year mark? Definitely not as the ending theme, though. I'd want something a bit more epic for that, like... air. >:D Or dessert, if that was considered the true ending to Gen 1(I'm kidding about both). Speaking of which, the Star's were a bit of a letdown. How come Gen 1 didn't go out with a larger bang? Why were't Teridax and Mata Nui released in a twin pack, or as Titans, or something...

To anyone who owns the Cendox V1, do the treads not work on any hard surface? This is a problem I've had for the years since I bought it in 09', the treads seem to only move on carpet and plush surfaces.

I enjoyed 2008. :'( The story had a nice twist, and I quite liked the sets. I never understood the hate. Tahu Mistika remains one of my favorite sets to date.

Ugh, I completely forgot! Maybe I have some of that amnesia. XD Also on the staff/Makuta resemblance maybe it's intentional. It is the Mask Stealer staff, and Makuta is the Mask Horder, and he would have to steal the masks to horde them? XD Also, if the MoUP is lost why would Makuta still be evil? Unless it's residual, I guess.

That would be a cool storyline for a character. Someone who forgot their past. Or did Slicer already take that?
