  1. The Marvel vs Jar Jar Binks Saga continues with new more photos. This time is the turn of Captain America and Hawkeye "Garbage on the street" Hawkeye can't fly in a fancy armor or appear with the sound of thunder so he has to drive and the streets seem really full of garbage "Shielded" The Clumsy Creature thinks wielding a shield will make a "Bombad warrior". Luckily there is Captain America to show him otherwise This is indeed the destiny he deserves lol. Personally I'd make Jar Jar choose all of them. Throw him in the snakes pit, then in the rotating blades and burn what remains. Just to be sure lol EDIT: Typo corrected.
  2. I just mistyped the numbers lol (I didn't remembered the episode number so I made a quick search and I guess I got the wrong info or simply, like I say, I mistyped. It happens quite often lol) The episode I mentioned was the right one, though
  3. Thank you very much I don't like the "stud shooters" but, like I said in my previous posts, I'm running very low on Blaster rifles. I don't have a lot of "Western-styled" rifles (only the pirates ones and not even in great numbers since I don't want to take them from my Wookiee army ) Sadly I can't simply find the Cade Bane speeder at a reasonable cost. I'm back to the Lego hobby after a long absence and I lost the chance to acquire many interesting sets over those years) A for the Senate Building Entrance (or something like that) is indeed on my "wish (or "to-do") list" As soon as I find the time to dedicate to some MOCs ( it's a very frantic period for me) Thank you again for your comment Thank you very much I'll try to add some scenery soon. Too bad I can't find that speeder at a reasonable cost. Anyway I'm glad to read the army still look nice even without vehicles and scenery, which one day I'll make sure to add
  4. I think you are right. They were the "signature" melee weapon of the Galaxy Squad's Robot Sidekicks (Red Squads) and apparently they are called "Laser Blades". Personally I would prefer energy blades, though Scarlet Witch's hairpiece is one of the worst hairpieces ever. Sadly it "plagues" several other Minifigures (like Supergirl, in different color, of course). A part form the "wrong likeness" it prevents any headpiece's movement. Seriously I hoped we could get rid of it but it is still there
  5. We always have huge expenses lol Btw I'll gladly welcome expenses related to a new Castle them for sure
  6. Not to mention the fact in the Minifigure they look more like "energy blades" than "power". Perhaps it's because they have been actually used to represent energy blades in older sets, Galaxy Squad ones for example
  7. Thanks It appears it is larger than it's number of pieces suggested. Mostly in height and depth. There aren't a lot of things but it's a perfect scenery for Brickfilms or Brick comics. A decent amount of "open space" A part its "tech enhancements", the shark looks bigger than the "Pirates theme" counterpart
  8. I think the determination to hit the Clumsy Creature would help the Stormtrooper to manage any kind of recoil Btw what is Jar Jar doing in the sniper photo? Opening a cabinet, using a sort of 1930s styled telephone lol etc? I'm quite curious
  9. Thank you very much I really like the Senate Commandos Battle Pack since it allows us to explore a aspect of the Star Wars universe not very common in Lego form. I'm building a Clone Army too. The fact is the project is in motion and it changes so quickly I haven't been able to take "up-to-date" photos. Counting both the assembled sets and those I bought but haven't built yet, I should (just an estimate) about 160-170 Clones and 50 vehicles. I think I could start with some photos of the "completed sections" of the army, like my Kashyyyk Clone Troopers. I have 80 of them, plus the battle packs swamp speeders, Commander Gree, the AT-AP, the first Turbo thank, the first swamp speeder etc. I'm thinking about starting an "Imperial Special Operations Forces" group with Shadow Troopers and Shadow Guards. Too many projects, I guess lol Thank you again for your words. I'm glad you liked my project
  10. Indeed it does not seem a well hidden trap, after all Btw, sorry if it has been already asked but do we know the size of the AntiMatter base? I know it may not be super important but I'm a bit curious
  11. I recently bought more Senate Commando packs and I finally posted the photos of my updated Senate Commando army. Now it is five times larger the one I posted before. Here is: "Protectors of the Senate" my Lego Star Wars Senate Commandos army 2.0 Comments and feedback always appreciated. I wish I had the chance to add some vehicle but I think it is still an interesting little project
  12. I once saw it with about 30% discount on Amazon but when I decide to order it, there was only the one sold by an independent seller with no discount so I didn't order it. I'm still keeping my eyes open for some deal because I really like gunships
  13. Of course he deserve it hehe Nice The fact it will give her some idea for work (she is a model) and she already work too much lol Btw the last two photos you posted are brilliant like always. Everyone complains about Stormtroopers' aim but the truth is they just need some motivation to hit the target: give them the Clumsy Creature and they won't miss a single shot
  14. Personally I like Marvel movies more than DCU based ones but when it comes to comics I tend to prefer DC over Marvel. Sadly I haven't the time to read a lot of comics from both universes (so I may not have all the elements to properly judge both). Too many hobbies and too few moments of free time. I have to see the iPad apps helps a lot. You bring your comics with you and you when you have few minutes you can read them whenever you are Anyway, back on Lego: I'd welcome any Super Heroes set they will release and I too hope Batman and Superman won't monopolize each set. I'm seriously "risking" to have a "Batman Clone Army" lol
  15. No problem That hairpiece is truly awful. You simply can't move the Minifigure's head. I'm surprised they still use it. Well at least Natasha got a different hairpiece and I'm planing to find a replacement for Supergirl
  16. Actually there is also Galadriel with her unique headpiece and hairpiece (I think both of them are unique) Btw I like Natasha's new hairpiece. I'm glad they changed it but sadly they gave it (in different color but it's the same) to Scarlet Witch and Supergirl. That hairpiece it's terrible. We can't even more the Minifigure's head and on Supergirl, who has a cape, it's even worse. Anyway, I'm among those who like to see new headpieces for the Ladies Minfigures. I think iconic characters deserve much more attention
  17. Thanks I forgot about that set. I really wanted it but when I got back to Lego hobby it was already sold out. Anyway, I'm determined to get each of the new sets
  18. I thought they were a little more, if we count the sold out Superman sets A part the Man of Steel sets which is the third one without Batman? Two are from the current wave: Darkseid Invasion and Brainiac Attack, but I can't recall the third. I have been away from the Lego hobby in the last years so I missed a lot of things
  19. Well they wouldn't be so "out of style" even in the cinematic universe. The "hover/STOVL" tech is a signature of cinematic universe SHIELD vehicles, then add the black color, the uniforms ranging from the "Federal Agent" suits to the "armors". The only thing they lack is the "flesh" look, since licensed Minifigures have the flesh and not the yellow color
  20. Am I the only one who find the UA vehicles a bit "S.H.I.E.L.D." styled? Btw I like walkers too so I bought Spyclops without even thinking about it. Beside it is also very cheap for a Lego set and so it was indeed a "no-brainer". It is awaiting to be built since January, though. More sets than available time
  21. While your point is understandable regarding the Ultron sets, regarding the DC Comics you mention we must consider they are not exclusively made to represent the characters from the movies but most likely the comics version of the comics. However I agree with you regarding the use of "generic faces". Unique characters should have unique headpieces, in my opinion
  22. That's a lot of Republic Troopers vs Sith Troopers sets. I wish I could find more of them around. I find several of them but not in that number. I'll think positive: more money for the other projects
  23. I made two images to show a bit of "Hulkbuster" action in a couple of "crossovers" "Alien Buster" The Galaxy Squad Alien Bugs and the Series 13 Alien Trooper plan to invade the Marvel universe: bad idea "Now I am the King" Hulkbuster vs Goblin King. It's impressive to see how the Hulkbuster arms can easily "grab and lift" the Goblin King figure The images are in high resolution so I posted on my blog. They are just simple photos but I really wanted to take some photo of the Hulkbuster in action. Comments and feedback are always appreciated
  24. I really like the DC comics sets released this year. I plan to get Darkseid invasion and Black Manta deep sea strike and complete the first wave of 2015. I already have the other three sets. My only little complain is the fact Lego DC Comic sets tend to be a little too much "Batman-centric" but at least we got a couple of different suits
  25. I hate to post after my own post lol but I had so much in making this "Anti Jar Jar" image: the third installment in the "Marvel vs Jar Jar" epic Saga. "Vengeful Thunder" This time is Thor to teach the Clumsy Creature a thunderous lesson Did anyone notice the reference I put in Thor's line? I shouldn't be too much cryptic
