Thank you So I think it means about 35€ and 130€ here in Europe. We always pay more for Lego
-
That's good. Thanks for info Do we already know those sets' retail price? I'm just curious: I know I'll buy them anyway to complete my 2015 DC comics collection

Already on sale? I'm not surprised they are almost sold out. Even at full price the demand is so high it is still on backorder on Lego shop -
"Bricks of Justice" (Ninjas vs Pirates Brick Comic)
BrickSev replied to BrickSev's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Thank you so much It may seem simple to do such works but it really takes a lot of time so I'm always very happy when I get positive comments I'm very glad you enjoyed it. I thought it would be nice to combine Ninjago and Pirates. I was trying to bring some order to a very chaotic part of my collection display lol when I say that Ninjago Minifigure near a Pirate one, so I got the idea The fact Ninjago characters are Ninja-like but not strictly the "historical version" helps a lot when you want to tell such kind of stories. Honestly I'm thinking about getting more Ninjago sets to make more Ninjas vs [insert enemy name] stories I'm planning to make more comics (the only limitation is time, since from writing some script, taking photos, adding effects and dialogue they require a lot of time) and I hope you'll enjoy them as well -
"Bricks of Justice" (Ninjas vs Pirates Brick Comic)
BrickSev posted a topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
It is well known Ninjas and Pirates hate each others. It does not matter they didn’t even have the chance to meet in real life. In fiction the rule of cool stated they must hate each others despite historical consistency. But perhaps in one of the infinite universes there is a ninja-like warrior wielding his sword against the evil bandits who pillage the coasts. When I saw a Ninjago Minifigure next to a very old Pirate set of mine I decided to turn the concept into a “Lego story” This short Brick Comic tells this story... "Bricks of Justice" Feedback and opinions are highly appreciated. This is just a short Brick Comic I made with no script but it takes time to edit, add dialogues etc so your opinions are truly appreciated May the Brick be with You -
Well I said it many times, the Lego DC sets are giving as a "Batman Clone Army" lol so I always wish to get other Minfigures but yet Batman is still there so at least a "breathing mask" suit is better than another "standard Batman". I mean even Clone Troopers have different armors so... lol

At first I didn't buy it but then I decided to collect the whole DC comics wave I didn't have Aquaman and so that was a good reason to buy it. I didn't build it yet but it looks like an interesting set. If you are a huge fan of DC comics and Lego I recommend it. Of course you'll get the omnipresent Batman but at least it's a "specialist suit"

Thanks They are indeed very Lego Friendly colors. Honestly I find a little strange for that kind of robot/mech to use such colors but as long as it knows how to deal with Jar Jar, everything is fine. Very good ones. The "Islander Clones" are having a little party it seems

Talking about Ultron versions: I hadn't the chance to watch the recent trailer (I'll do asap) but does it still appear the Minifigure of Ultimate Ultron is in the wrong color? Or does the recent trailers show they made the Lego version in the right color? Thank you very much for any info -
Thank you very much I took the background photo as well: one of the many sunset photos I took during the years. I often think about using the background of different sky conditions but in the end I always use some sunset photo. I really like sunsets, it seems lol. I also think sunsets look more "epic" as background than a "common" blue sky with a couple of clouds. Thank you again for you words

An UCS Castle would be very nice Even I am not impressed with the current pirates themes. It seems it is more aimed to younger users who want to experience "the classic era" feeling. I have to say the buildings seem to be a slight improvement of the older ones but it's most likely they are still tiny and cramped places like the old ones

Jar Jas continues his (mis)adventures in the Marvel Universe in... "Unwanted Attentions" This time he runs into a Sentinel and it appears he really likes the robot. When the Sentinel realizes Jar Jar is, well, "flirting" lol it activates the "anti-molester" protocol I bought the Sentinel set mostly to provide my other Lego Mechs an "opponent" but I had to make it interact with the Clumsy Creature

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

According the current knowledge we have it does not seem a perfect "army building" set. Sure, we get a nice vehicle but only 1 SHIELD Minifigure and with a "particular" facial expression ( I don't know if the headpiece is two-sided) and unless we want a clone-ish army we'll have to look for alternative headpieces etc. I'm saying it is a bad set. I actually think it may be a very good. I'll wait when we have more info to decide if I'll get multiple of this set -

It would be very interesting. It truly has a "UCS" look. Great work then -

I'm not sure it could destroy the Death Star but I see the point Or it could be even worse. It could place Jar Jar Binks as the Helicarrier commanding officer, make him director of the SHIELD or the master (not very mind) behind Hydra I already did lol and I found it very funny for that very reason -

Is there something DisneyTM is not involved into? Once they said the ultimate power in the universe was a large space station with a lot of firepower lol Things changed -
That's indeed very funny. Congratulation to who had this idea for April 1st. Is it just me or is there a "vague" lol reference to a certain "DisneyTM acquisition"? You know what I mean

Cool Of course the Tony's armor is not made of iron but let's not be too "geeky" (otherwise someone would say: "Hey Minifigures are made of plastic" etc) lol He is called "Iron Man" after all I like the "custom box". It's a very nice touch: well done

Impressive Did you just buy the Minifigures or do you have the vehicles too? It would be even more impressive with the vehicles. Anyway it's already a great collection -
Exactly my thought In the end the decision on making a set it's determined by marketing reasons
-
I have said it several times when the argument about "rating and Lego sets" but they had no problem in making sets based on Anakin Skywalker whose actions were particularly "dark" (you know what I mean) and much more "violent" of many of those comics characters. Beside Lego always succeed in making a "funny side" of any character. Let's think about the video games or the videos they make. Just my two cents, of course
-
Lucy? lol Well Jar Jar has been introduced in the SW movie more directed to "smaller children". Jar Jar even more than the Pod racers. Anyway the argument "people hate Jar Jar because the hate PT" is flawed. I know many persons who dislike Jar Jar because they like PT and other who dislike him, just because he is... Jar Jar. Btw, I don't want to look like a mini-mod lol but I guess this is not the right place for this (maybe even interesting discussion) the more posts we make on the matter, the more it becomes difficult for readers to find the "on-topic" (namely photos) posts. Just my two cents, of course and I don't want to act like a mini-mod EDIT: For the records I do like the PT
