  1. it maybe tan (although on some pictures it looks white), but it's a lighter tan than on the side of the car, so it makes sense to make it white. I guess they ran out of lego tan shades ;)
  2. nobody knows at what exact time Lego releases new sets in its online store. It's always a lottery (at least in Germany).
  3. and that's not even a print. In my opinion, it's just a mockup of a typical 80s toy commercial, so they used a mockup of a typical 80s car.
  4. and, to be fair, the Brickheadz Chewbacca
  5. LOL those evil leakers....
  6. better idea: an exclusive polybag, also available as GWP for the lego online store. ;)
  7. LEGO invites you to the midnight opening: Be the first in Europe to see and buy the new set Meet the LEGO Designer, Justin Ramsden and get the set signed Netflix and Build – take part in a special building experience Hang out and engage with fans of LEGO bricks and one of the most popular Netflix series Enjoy some “totally tubular” refreshments Last but not least… dress to impress! Show your best 80’s swag!
  8. I think it's just a normal lightbrick on a 2x4 plate.
  9. I don't think that's a problem, looks strong enough to me. The question is, how easy will it tip over. That looks like the bigger problem to me, especially with the car up there.
  10. The dots from the lightbrick are interesting. It seems like there's some kind of "filter" in front of the brick, maybe with a sticker, to generate this effect. I wonder if looks like this in real life or that's just in the rendering.
  11. what about The Simpsons? But I don't see any more ST sets coming, either.
  12. In Germany, Stranger Things and Overwatch has the same age rating as GoT (FSK16 - 16 and up) Usually Sex is not the problem here, but violence. So you could call it the upside down to the USA ;) So from a German point of view, i don't see why there would be Stranger Things and Overwatch, but not GoT. And there is not much naked skin in GoT anymore anyway.... GoT and ST both shouldn't be watched by kids. But each country has its own culture, so Lego has to respect that, at least in its biggest markets.
  13. What goggles? Isn't that just his camo headband?
  14. official pics are out. very strange/interesting box art: https://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-hidden-side-official-set-images/
  15. According to promobricks.de the release will be postponed to october according to some resellers and lego store employees. https://www.promobricks.de/lego-42100-technic-liebherr-r-8900-verkaufsstart-oktober-verschoben/80286
  16. If someday the community doesn't care about the leaks anymore, that's when Lego will have a real problem. It's the price to pay, if you have a popular product with a huge fanbase. And it's Lego's job to stop the leaking and no one elses.
  17. Don't forget the reviewers. Usually with these sets we can expect Day 1 reviews on release/reveal day. An since it's a TV license, there could be non Lego reviews too, like Hogwarts. So that's a possible leak source too, even if it's by accindent. I think he means the inside of the house on the back of the box. There is a picture of that, but in really bad quality.
  18. Because they are all afraid they may lose their recognised fan media status. It's not like there is no interest in this set.
  19. That list is from australia.
  20. It seems like there is no 42100 at Bauma. 2 members of a german lego forum were looking for it yesterday, but couldn't find it. Only MOCs. I guess there would have also been a press release if it was there.
  21. I don't think there are any leaked pics. Just text as an image stating it will be a Harley Davidson Set.
  22. I didn't like the silver in the set, i doesn't match the monochrome style of the set. It should have been the other way around, but I guess they wanted to make the buyers of the set buy the CMFs too ;)
