  1. Nice. Pretty much exactly in scale, somehow it looks much bigger.
  2. Really nicely done all around. I love the hatch. How many studs long exactly?
  3. Hi. Mine was an original set and has the same differences in colour on the white bricks. I don't think I let it become yellowed at all (when on the shelf it was totally out of direct sunlight) and I'm pretty sure the differences in colour were there when I got it out of the box too.
  4. So does this mean the first order general will have a much wider release now like c3po? Lots of them are being put up on bricklink now but still at scalpers prices.
  5. Yeah, figures like this are why star wars collectable minifigs series are needed. So many characters that will never make it into a set that can be produced. Even significant ones like padme, shmip, beru, typho, bail, etc. are unlikely to be featured in a set which is disappointing because Star Wars costumes are so beautiful.
  6. I think you misunderstood my comment. Revenge of the Sith is M, there's some pretty hardcore stuff in that film that has made its way into a Lego product. I didn't really understand why being M would be relevant to whether or not Lego would make something. Return of the Jedi is PG and as mentioned, the tatooine stuff is super seedy and that's been well represented in star wars sets. I don't want to derail the thread but that's just how it is. Good post.
  7. Oola. Leia also kind of. That whole sequence wasn't very subtle in regards to Jabba's operations.
  8. Revenge of the Sith is M? And there is a minifig of anakin burning alive. Pretty hardcore. Plus a minifig of a sex slave.
  9. hey there. I built this about a year ago, it's really great. I have been playing with it for about the last month and can't wait to show some photos once I've got the final parts subs.
  10. It would be better to have it built as modular levels with perhaps removable outer shell. Too difficult to engineer a hinge like the ghostbusters house. Plus it would limit accessibility if it splits in the middle
  11. Those thingies looked like they might be AT-AT floaties
  12. cheers! I like yours also . I can't figure out a better way to do the engines so I think I might be pinching them ( :
  13. I agree. I wish that Lego produced heads with the chin straps that actually represented the faces of the troopers in the film
  14. So I was fiddling last night and figured out a way to attach the laser cannon that looks acceptable. I think it looks alright but still thinking about how to make the attachment point less blocky.
  15. Just search flickr with the set numbers.
  16. In case it slipped under the radar there's actually a lot of hq photos on flickr
  17. Do you know if it's possible to produce a sticker sheet as it would come in a set? Like printing a design onto the sticker material
  18. Those stickers on the outer surface of the s foils are superb. How did you make them? I've also been building some Eta-2s on and off for about a year but the limited palette of dk blue has kind of stopped my work on Obi-Wan's ship from Utapau. I've been thinking of ways to achieve a nice sticker for the wings and yours looks great.
  19. These are really cute. Getting really strong 70s vibes
  20. Does anyone know how the First Order General is being distributed? It is currently available but at ridiculous prices, are these just early leaked units or is this the extent of its release?
  21. But the female minifig quota had already been filled!
  22. Wow. This is excellent
  23. Really good, which paint did you use
  24. Bras so or a graphite eraser does the trick for me on printed parts (:
