    Wow these sets look amazing! I really wish the figures were as good... no Praetorian guard minifig!? No Luke!?! how did they manage to omit the biggest character in the film!?! I love Kylo Ren's TIE, it's massive and an awesome design! I just really wish he had a helmet again but that's more of a gripe on the movie than the set... as soon as he took the helmet off in TFA he lost every iota of intimidation factor instantly. Plus the helmet was so cool! I digress. The Scout Walker is bizarre but I think I like it. It's certainly the most creative thing they've done with the vehicles so far which isn't saying much I know. The Resistance pod... is just a piece of the Resistance dropship.... okay?? easy pass. I'm really digging the Praetorian Guard buildable figure, it's really tickling my G1 Bionicle nostalgia and it just looks so cool! Again, reeaally wish we had a minifig of it in the first wave, no doubt we'll get one in the future. Chewbacca isn't too bad but I couldn't care less about the Rey fig, I want to see pics of the Boba Fett fig! (understandably not part of the TLJ leaks of course). Overall fantastic wave for sets, no so much for the figs as I tend to go for alien or cool unique figs with special armor or weapons which there is NONE of here.

    Dark grey was just as much of a primary color for the enemy vehicles as sand blue and purple.

    This is exciting news indeed! I absolutely love anything black and neon green so if that's the color of the villains and their vehicles, I will be very happy! Hopefully the designs of characters and builds will be way better than this year. I just wasn't impressed by almost all of them this year. The villain figures being the exception as they were really great. Dark grey and purple wasn't an exciting color scheme either. Clay's jet I think was the best hero vehicle of the bunch and I'm not a huge fan of jets.

    That spinning attack move Kai does on that enemy in the trailer tells me there's definitely some unique moves but I agree I hope it's not just a damage increase.

    So the Marvel Heroes game just got it's license renewed with Marvel and although they've had the Fantastic Four in the game since the beginning, in order to renew their partnership with Marvel, the FF and all of their costumes are no longer going to be available in the game. While this is a different game entirely, this is pretty concerning and almost definitely ensures the FF are not going to be in LMS2 if Marvel is mandating this to all its partners.

    I am most excited for this new combat system with upgrades and ranks! I It would be awesome if we finally get some hack n' slash mechanics with combos and the like rather than constantly spamming square. The graphics aren't anything to write home about but Ninjago City looks far more exciting to roam around in than the LEGO movie game worlds worlds.

    I just read that article, wow what a downright pathetic excuse, especially since there's a new X-Men movie every year. The X-Men and FF getting shafted in EVERYTHING just because Marvel doesn't own the movie rights is infuriating, plus they still get a cut of FOX's profits from the movies on top of alienating long-time fans so they are just shooting themselves in the foot. It will be incredibly frustrating if the X-Men and FF are not in this game at all but it would not be surprising. Given Kang is the main villain though I think the FF really need to be involved. Given how much of the story in the first game revolved around the FF and X-Men, they are going to need to do some explaining if they have no part in the sequel. Let's just hope D23 in a couple weeks gives us some big reveals because E3 was a bust. Heck, we may not even see some of the really good stuff until Comic Con but the game is a work in progress after all.

    Those are not Bionicle symbols as much as I wish they had them in the set.

    That is true and makes sense but with an entire galaxy full of different ships, it gets frustrating seeing the same ones over and over with little change. They are primarily relying on OT nostalgia to sell their ship designs but I want to see more innovation and creativity. Even this new Resistance Bomber looks like the front half of a medical frigate and the Resistance Troop Transport was essentially a heavily modified B-Wing. Some of the few new designs like the Quadjumper and Eravana appeared VERY briefly and were hardly memorable. In the PT and Clone Wars there were constantly new ship designs(and yes I know in universe they constantly had to innovate to get an edge in the war). I'm just so sick of X-Wings and A-Wings and Y-Wings and all the TIE Fighters, I want to see some truly new designs. The U-Wing was a good start even though I wasn't a huge fan of the design.

    I initially really disliked Snoke's look and the minifig but I'm coming around. The printing on the head is good and I'm glad to hear he isn't human even if he's very close. The gold robes are an interesting choice too. There are not enough alien main characters in Star Wars considering the vast galaxy it takes place in(one thing I must say the PT did much better than the OT). I was expecting him to have grey skin and black robes but if they did that the Sidious parallels would be too much. The ST needs it's own identity and making the big bad guy virtually a carbon copy of the last one would upset a lot of people, even more so than how similar TFW was to ANH. I really hope TLJ has an identity all its own. I'm really looking forward to the gorilla walker set but I wish the figure selection was better and I wish the vehicle design itself wasn't so on the nose with the gorilla look and how little has really changed from the AT-AT. Of course the same could be said of the Star Destroyers, X-Wings and TIE Fighters(and A-Wings based on what we've seen so far). For their being 30 or so years between RoTJ and TFA, technology sure didn't advance nearly as much as it did between RoTS and ANH.

    I noticed that from the back of the box images. That looks really cool. Man I love this dragon! I wonder if there's actually a flip open function on those engine pods or you have to fold them out manually, if so that's a wasted opportunity for a simple extra function. The ice tank looks cool and I love the geometric shapes toward the back but I feel like this thing should have been a flying vehicle. It looks like it could detach though, it would be cool if the whole front section could come off, have the cannon fold under the cockpit and have the triangle sections fold out to the sides to form wings.

    Looks really good but most likely custom or from a promo of some kind given how shiny that hand is. The face and body printing is top notch.

    That is frustratingly noncommittal but it's not a flat out no and I'm glad SOMEBODY finally asked the question. Sounds like some could be in the game but they're still ironing out the legal details/approval from Marvel? Who knows, I won't give my hopes up though. Marvel's really pushing Inhumans as a mutant replacement but try as they might they just cannot compare to the X-Men. They just are not nearly as good, period.

    So they showed some more gameplay recently featuring Wakanda in Chronopolis and Black Panther and Agent Venom will have some missions for the player in the hub world like some characters in the first game. Not a much in the way of new info and it was the same pre-alpha build. Hopefully at comic con they'll have a newer build with more characters on the roster to show off.

    My guess is they are trying to keep most of the game under wraps as it is still in development and a lot of stuff still needs to be finalized, plus if I'm not mistaken there are still a couple more events for them to make big reveals at before the game is released so they are pacing the release of info and they've said they plan on revealing new characters on a steady flow through twitter/facebook. I do hope they confirm either way soon though, I was really hoping someone at E3 would've asked them but nobody did.

    I like it and I'm glad we are getting more variants of the BB series like R2 or R3 units for the sequel trilogy.

    The thing is, this was the case when the first game came out and Arthur Parsons said they were given no such restrictions at the time. I don't see any reason to assume they gave them such a mandate now, especially since Marvel has shown some give recently when it comes to properties like the X-Men. In fact, in the past year when Kevin Fiege and others high up in the Marvel food chain were asked about the possibility of a FOX-Marvel deal like the one they have with Sony, they've been more open to the possibility in the future when before their response was a flat out no, never. Given there are several X-Men series currently running, I see no reason why they couldn't include characters featured in ResurrXion. The Gwenpool thing makes sense given the time bending that's happening in the game. I have no love for the character(I still say the whole thing sounds like a bad fan-fic that accidentally made it to print) but if there's a reason they didn't want to include Deadpool in the game(of course there's nothing saying he's not we don't know yet) it would be to avoid association with the movie which is by no means kid friendly.

    Oh yeah, I tweeted at them to put Ghost Rider and his bike in. I'm sure they will, I'm just being paranoid until there's confirmation.

    That mech dragon... is... amazing! Holy cow, Garmadon wasn't wielding a missile launcher... it's a laser pointer! I believe this confirms the return of "relics" from the LEGO Movie. It's a very nice little build that's instantly recognizable. As far as functions go, it appears the dragon has a tail-whipping function in addition to some stud shooters on the front legs. I love the use of the newer book cover piece as a control panel and I think the head is my favorite part. It's a great blend of built up and specialized pieces. Overall, an impressive looking model.

    Those certainly sound promising if real, especially for the PT content for me. I'm always for more Clone Wars era stuff and I would love to get some great battlepacks like we got for the first game, especially if the printing on the Clone Troopers are as detailed as the Stormtroopers were. The Jedi Council pack is very intriguing!

    All of these sets are incredible but the real crown jewel of the wave for me is that mech dragon! I absolutely love it and I'm glad it's pretty affordable compared to some of the other big sets. Soooo much beautiful sand green.

    Medusa looks good but I was expecting more form today's showing. They didn't reveal much of anything new, just Medusa and showing that MODOK is pretty much the same. I'm going to take that with a heavy heaping of salt considering the game isn't even finished and I don't know how he could've possibly known that. I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't in the game though it would be very disappointing. As long as Ghost Rider is in though I'll be happy, unless they only give us Reyes, then I'll be pretty peeved especially since we have that brilliant Ghost Rider minifig and the awesome bike to go with it.

    I'm admittedly getting a little nervous about the X-Men and FF myself but to be fair, they didn't really show much, roughly 10 characters were playable at the demo out of several hundred, we only saw brief glimpses of only a few sections of Chronopolis and a preview of the first level and one battle arena, all of which heavily focused on the Guardians and Spider-verse. Let's give it some time and let the steady stream of character reveals occur, hopefully We will all be satisfied-- I get my Ghost Rider, you get the FF, and everyone gets some X-Men!

    Ah of course it's Medusa! The picture I saw was pretty blurry and the face print threw me off as it looked like a venom head. MODOK and Miles Morales are 2 more I forgot to mention and I guess the two characters next to Black Widow are Black Knights.

    Lockjaw looks great and we can see a few more characters on the new roster. It looks like we can also confirm the Man Ape, She-Hulk, Kingpin, Mysterio, Falcon, Black Widow, Agent Venom, and I'm not quite sure who the 2 characters are on the the top row next to Black Widow. the black and yellow one almost looks like Wolverine and then there's some kind of blue hazmat guy beside him. The one in the middle on the far right almost looks like Agony which would be a strange choice, not to mention pretty obscure. Chronopolis looks really great so far. Hopefully Ghost Rider is revealed soon, after all I need to update my avatar and sig!
