  1. The Desert Skiff looks awful to me. The A-Wing looks really great but it feels like we just got 2 of them so I'm not interested, though that new Lando looks great. The Landspeeder loos really good, especially with the new curved tile pieces. Calm down people, Thrawn has red eyes, it just appears to be dark red and has black outlines and white pupils. The Phantom II looks really nice and I'm glad it has some space in the back. It's disappointing that they didn't make it compatible with the Ghost, even if it's a retired set. It's nice to get more images of Yoda's Starfighter, I wasn't expecting the top to be able to lift up but the whole thing looks really good. The interior is lacking and he has no means of controlling the craft. It always bothers me when they do that, at the very least, they could provide a couple stickers for the 1x2 cheese slopes on either side of the cockpit. It's still not entirely accurate to the modified Eta-2 from the show but honestly, I think this thing looks far better. The proportions on the one from the show were almost too comical. This looks more like a serious craft. Overall, the figures aren't exciting me much, save the Rogue One Imperial troops and the figures in the Y-Wing and half of the vehicles are tired rehashes but the modified Eta-2 and the Phantom II are both really refreshing additions.
  2. If it ends up being true about the Batman Beyond suit... man that would be pretty awesome!
  3. After watching that Y-Wing build I must say it is a very tempting set, and I don't like Y-Wings very much. There are some pretty neat techniques employed in the build, particularly in the cockpit to get the shape just right. Of course the figs are a big draw. Edit: I just watched the Battle on Scariff build as well. It's a great looking set but I feel like the figures don't justify the price point. Sure, you get variants of the 2 main characters and a couple standard Shoretroopers but K2-SO also appears in that scene so it would have been nice to include him or even an exclusive character we haven't gotten yet like Saw Garerra or the "two-tubes" guy.
  4. Yeah that car looks great but 2 figs is ridiculous. At least it's a cheaper way to get Penguin.
  5. So do we know yet if we are getting anymore Rebels sets after the Phantom 2? It's a very nice ship, if not a little small and it has a decent couple of figures. It's disappointing that it appears Thrawn does not have red eyes like he should and it would have been nice if he had those shoulder pauldrons. Is that piece still in production? I think the last time we saw it was in a Pirates theme. I do hope if we get another set, it comes with a new Zeb. The old one just didn't look right to me, the head mold seemed too big but chances are we'd still be stuck with that one. It'd be awesome if he got digigrade legs though! I really want to see those used in more sets. The Satyr from the CMF line and the new Gremlins Dimensions pack are the only 2 places they can be found right now, as far as I'm aware. Also, I've really, really wanted these for awhile but especially after this latest episode of Rebels we might actually have a chance of getting...
  6. Because it was specifically mentioned by the panel at comic con this year. They said he'd be sporting short hair when he was in the arena.
  7. Wow, I'm really liking Orca, Catman, Red Hood(I love the re-use of Mr. Freeze armor piece!) and Metal Batman. The Fairy Batman is terrifying I'm seeing some great new, useful parts like the duck floaty. Wow, they really scraped the bottom of the DC barrel for some of these characters, huh? Eraser? lol wow I couldn't believe that actually existed in a comic book until I looked it up.
  8. I'm loving the new helmet mold! Cap's jet i mediocre, Cap himself would've been far better with a helmet and ANAD Ms. Marvel looks... disturbing. I don't think it turned out very well but I admire their ambition. The Detroit Steel set looks awesom-- wait, wait, Justin Hammer is in the suit?! Uhm, okay then I guess. Lola looks decent, Coulson looks accurate and ANAD Iron Man looks supurb, the new helmet mold is truly a breath of fresh air! As great as the old helmet looked, it's been waaaay overused and regardless or print or recolor, every suit that used it looked just like any other suit. This new mold is already way more versatile given its use in Iron Man, Detroit Steel, Super Adaptoid and the Mighty Micro set and they all look very different. I'm pleasantly surprised by the new blast launcher piece and I look forward to seeing how it works. Overall, this wave is pretty disappointing. The only one I think I'll get is Detroit Steel, but at least now I have a little more room in the budget to pick up some of the great sets from this year and more of the LEGO Star Wars and LBM stuff.
  9. I'm really happy with Yoda's Interceptor! It looks much better than the previous leaks indicated. the Phantom set is also really great. the build looks really good and the figs are nice. I never read the Thrawn books, though I've been familiar with him for years, so I'm not that picky about him, I'm just glad we're getting some legacy characters in offical canon. I really like the Shoretrooper buildable figure. The duel set is a disappointment but I like the Scariff battle set. I love the figs in the Y-Wing and the ship itself is very well done I'm just not a fan of Y-Wings.
  10. I really like the Battle on Scarif set, it look like a nice little playset. I'm not a fan of Y-Wings so it's "meh" to me, though the figs are very enticing, I may have to bricklink them.
  11. I'm also fairly confident that the lower jaw/neck/spine section is a separate piece as well that might allow him to rotate his head up for a "swimming mode". Anyone else see that? It could just be a seem from the manufacturing process but that gap seems too big for that. It looks like the whole thing could be a wheel, so to speak, that slides into the torso and ratchets up and down.
  12. I really like Catwoman's motorcycle, it kinda reminds me of Ghost Rider's bike we got this year. Certainly the new 1x1 half circle piece printed to look like a V twin engine is outstanding! Also, I'm glad to hear the Croc set may very well be $49.99.
  13. I love the new Croc! Btw, anyone else notice that the whole head section is a seperate section, methinks it can rotate up and down, that'd be amazing! I love that he uses recolored Rancor hands and him having a head similar to a classic LEGO crocodile is kinda neat. It also lookslike he has a tail. I know nothing about Zebraman but the figure is cool. Tarantula is okay but makes me a little uneasy given her actions in the comics. The Tail-Gator looks pretty good though. I'm expecting the set to be $40-$50.
  14. Wow the new Bruce Wayne hair looks fantastic on Doctor Strange! Even better than the BvS hair. I'm glad to hear we're getting another Killer Croc, the one we got this year was extremely disappointing and came in a really awful set. I'm hoping the new Croc will be pretty cool. Based on an image from the trailer, his fingers appear to be brick built and his head looks a bit odd and seems to accommodate an old school crocodile head piece which is interesting.
  15. I must say, I quite like the Clayface set, he's ugly but he's supposed to be. The Scarecrow set seems like a waste of parts to me. No one would ever know that it was Scarecrow if the set didn't have his name in the title. I do like the modular nature of the ACE chemicals factory though and I hope LEGO does more of that kind of thing in the future.
  16. Woah, sweet! I'm even more excited for Yoda's Starfighter. I love Eta-2s so I'm definitely getting Yoda's chibi one. The constraction figures look good aside from the head molds.
  17. I'm 99% sure the ship in that image is Rocket's Warbird. I'd honestly rather get a set of that to go with the Milano which is an amazing set, one of the best Marvel sets LEGO has ever done imo.
  18. The Scuttler is a thing of beauty, I must have it! I'm getting a very Zoids feel from it and I love it!
  19. Casper would be a great one, I could totally see them doing it. Flintstones is all but confirmed, right? I could see The Jetsons happening too. With Portal being a very popular one, I could see Half-life potentially happening too. Nexo Knights is probably a given too, right? What with Ninjago and Chima being in, it only makes sense that the newest big bang theme would be included. As others have suggested, MIB could work. I could also see something like Shovel Knight working for this, though I'm unsure if having an amiibo would make it a direct competition with itself. It's too bad TLG no longer has the TMNT license because that would've been an awesome inclusion! As a Ratchet & Clank fan, I could see that being a compatible brand as well. I also really, REALLY want a Sauron fun pack. It's da freakin' crime we never got him in minifig form in either the LoTR or Hobbit series of sets. I think paring him with a Balrog minibuild would be incredibly popluar and address 2 glaring ommissions from the LoTR sets. So many possibilities! I hope Dimensions continues to be a huge success for years to come as having these kind of brand crossovers are truly something fun and exciting.
  20. Given how the Quadjumper is appearing here and there, it may also be likely that the same ship model will appear in other parts of the new trilogy. It's a cool design that I'd like to see used again, preferably in some prominent scenes. As it stands right now though, it is an odd choice for a set.
  21. Awesome, well done! It looks nice and smooth with plenty of interior space. Excellent shaping overall. If I had one criticism it would be the interior colors. I'd recommend replacing the white with a different color, more grey may be too much so perhaps dark blue. The bright blue chairs also kind of stick out without that color appearing anywhere else in the moc to unify it. Perhaps black chairs might be a better option.
  22. My wishlist: Marvel Superheroes Ghost Rider Fun Pack(at the top of my list but will likely never happen, the rest are more practical) includes Ghost Rider(Ketch or Reyes) and Ghost Rider's motorcycle, with level 2 turning into Ketch's motorcycle with the shield and level 3 being Ghost Rider's Charger Avenger's Team Pack Includes Iron Man, Captain America(with helmet), a Quinjet with level 2 being a space Quinjet and level 3 being a Hellicarrier and Cap's motorcycle which turns into a jeep at level 2 and then a jet at level 3 Spider-Man Fun Pack Includes Spider-Man and Spider-Buggy that becomes a Spiderbot at level 2 and a Spidercopter at level 3 Star Wars A New Hope Level Pack Luke Skywalker and an X-Wing Starfighter that becomes an A-Wing at level 2 and a Rebel Blockade Runner at level 3 and a Turbolaser turret that becomes an Imperial Tank at level 2 and the Deathstar at level 3 Darth Vader Fun Pack Darth Vader and a TIE Advanced X1 that becomes a TIE Bomber at level 2 and a Super Star Destroyer at level 3 Smuggler Team Pack Includes Han Solo(with the new hairpiece) Chewbacca, Millenium Falcon that becomes the Outrider at level 2 and a Star Destroyer at level 3 and an AT-ST that becomes an AT-DP at level 2 and an AT-AT at level 3 BIONICLE(This one's a pipedream but I can dream can't I?) Mata Nui Level Pack Includes Tahu(minifig similar to the Hero Factory figures from the Attack From Below series) a Kane-Ra Bull that becomes a Hydruka at rank 2 and the Kardas Dragon at rank 3 and a Toa Suva that becomes a Toa Canister at rank 2 and the Nuva Cube at rank 3 Toa Team Pack Includes Onua minifig, Lewa minifig, a Manas Crab that turns into an Ussal Crab at rank 2 and a Bohrok at rank 3 and a Nui-Rama that becomes a Gukko Bird at rank 2 and a Visorak at rank 3 Gali Fun Pack Inlcudes Gali minifig, a Tarakava that becomes a Takea Shark at rank 2 and Gadunka at rank 3 Kopaka Fun Pack Kopaka minifig and a Muaka that turns into a Spinax at level 2 and a Rahkshi at level 3 Pohatu Fun Pack Pohatu minifig and a Nui-Jaga that becomes a Kikanalo at rank 2 and a Vahki at rank 3
  23. The Guavian Death Gang set sounds great, as soon as I saw the film I thought they'd be great in minifig form, along with maybe a Rathtar. At that price, it almost sounds like we'll be getting their ship too, which would be great as it looked like a really cool design(even though we only got a small glimpse of it). The Quadjumper is an odd choice but it was cool looking and it provides an opportunity for some great new figs based on people and aliens from Niima Outpost. More battle packs are always good. The Darth Vader set sounds "meh" but it could surprise me. I'm kind of surprised we're getting more Freemaker stuff but at least it should mean some more cool figs and maybe some Legacy characters or vehicles, like what the Yoda Chronicles did with Jek's ship as well as indroducing the awesome Ithorian head mold. If the Imperial Tank is a version of the Republic Tank from several years back based on the one from Battlefront, it'll be a must-have for sure. I'm still kicking myself for not getting it before.
  24. I regret even saying anything. I know we'll never get Netflix versions in official sets nor did I ever imply that they can or should, I was just pointing out a flaw in the argument. Regardless, I want a Daredevil minifig, it was up at the top of the list right under Ghost Rider. Now that I have my favorite comic book character of all time in official LEGO form, Daredevil is long overdue. OBVIOUSLY a comic-inspired one. I doubt we'll ever get Punisher but I would like actual Luke Cage, Jewel and Ironfist minifigs for a complete Defenders team. The USM Powerman and Ironfist weren't very good tbh. Blade is another that's toward the top of my list. Moon Knight would be good too but he's probably a bit more obscure to be used in a set.
