Good news everybody, many things have been completed on the car. I have built the servo mechanism to turn on and off the battery box that powers the Ls. The M motor power switch + compressor doohickey thing is built and installed. The steering is done and everything is installed, now it only means bodywork. The bodywork is coming along very nicely. Thanks for the estimated top speed PKW though I doubt it will be so fast. Also it weighs around 1.9 KG at this point.

But when there is the friction of the cylinders more heat is created so it might even out. -

So what do you guys think of the Nissan GT-R LM NISMO? Nissan's new LMP1 car to compete with the Audi R18 e-tron Quattro (it wont beat the R18), Porsche 919 hybrid and Toyota TS 040 (maybe TS 050) in the FIA WEC races such as Les 24 Heures du Mans. With a 550 HP 3.0L V6 sitting at the front of the car powering only the front wheels, this is no normal GT-R. With a 700 HP KERS system for the rear wheels this it has a total of 1250 HP. So what do you guys think of it and how it will do ? Read more here: http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/nissan-gt-r-le-mans-car-2015-02-02 (this article because we all know TG rules) -

I've seen it been done on YouTube. -
Well explained!!! I hope the linear actuator will be good enough but we'll find out soon. In 3rd ( final ) gear, the gear ratio from the motors to the tires is 1:18. The back of the body work is looking good and it is very curvy.
-
Not too sure of what you mean here? Bad-ish news guys the gearbox is no longer going to be servo controlled. The servo just does have enough POWER so I'm gonna use a linear actuator and an XL.
-
The gearbox is now practically finished and has extremely low amounts of cracking and slippage. The chassis is a bit slow so hopefully Ill be able to add more gearing. The torque figures ARE INCORRECT because They should be power off of 7.2V not 9V.

I really do not want to spend like 15 CHF (14.24 Euro) for a couple of batteries that will last me a week the way I use them. Stuff in Switzerland is expensive!
-
Be careful with the AAA battery box because its power shutdown thingamabob is very sensitive but I run it off of six 1.2 volt rechargeable batteries so it might be better for you.
-
Right now it has around 49.56 N.cm of torque to the wheels which should give it extreme acceleration. The gearbox is cracking a bit so more improvement need to be done. I have widened the spoiler and added rear wheel arches.

Here is the video of the Drift Truck: Hope you like it as much as I do.
