    I think someone from Kawashita had a scene involving tube racers or something similar, but it would be pretty cool to have a challenge about "build a race between the 3 corporations" and you have to build a racer from each. Or even like a pit scene.

    Location: H03 Kaalin Tags: Science, Land Vehicle Previously... // PERSONAL DIARY // I was pleasantly surprised to hear from Dr. Long and even more intrigued when she said that she needed me to personally oversee something for her. One of our more junior scientists had come up with a new Awesomnium enhanced biomass formulation that required testing. Our illustrious CEO pombe had set up a facility on Kaalin to give the new mix a proper workout and he sent ED-208 with me over the protests of his compatriot Sue. I guess she felt he still had "more servicing" to be done, which is bizarre because he just had a thorough Octan-brand Robotic Assistant Maintenance because she had previously said he needed "attention". When I arrived on Kaalin I was a bit surprised that there wasn't a scientific outpost waiting for me, but an Octan Racing Team test facility. One of their heavy rally trucks was the test bed for the new fuel mixture. The pit crew had been getting the truck ready for me. Luckily I had some experience with race trucks! As I was preparing to take the truck out for a test drive the scientist who discovered the formulation showed up. Her name was Allison and she seemed very excited to be in the field testing. She also seemed very excited in general. I wasn't entirely surprised that she had heard of me and told me how happy she was to be working with me and that maybe if this went well we could do more work together. She seems a bit clingy, but when I mentioned that to ED-208 he said I should ask Dr. Long if she has any experience with a situation like that. Which was a great idea, I'll definitely have to try and set up a dinner for us to discuss it over! Extra Pics:

    That is incredibly massive. You certainly win the award for most "up-sizing" from the original! It looks like you have more vegetation than I do parts in total. What an incredible build, and nice to see you posting in AG again.

    Some really incredible parts usage! The alien head and hairpieces most of all. I really like the upgraded sub and boat and I like how you've made the undersea life so colorful and vibrant. A fantastic reimagining of the original, which itself was so well done!

    I love the updated death ray truck. I always liked that build and it is nice to see a new Mantis-ified version of it!

    Location: A04 Mynderis Tags: Science // PERSONAL DIARY // Though I'm no botanist I've been trying my hand at cultivating some flowering plants from Mynderis aboard the Mantis science ship Scorpion in one of the hydroponic labs. I've been adding Awesomnium to the water to see if it enhances them. Big Sal also added one of his new hybrids in the corner to see what impact Awesomnium water has on it. My pacifist companion Ed Zob doesn't seem to like the idea of super powered plants and continues to insist that we should not be meddling with nature. He tried to claim the hybrid is an affront to nature, science, and the gods. Honestly, I think being a pacifist, he just doesn't like that Mantis is so militaristic and he doesn't trust the corporation. It isn't pleasant for me either, but Big Sal has seemed really stressed out lately and the constant stress of leadership and concern over Kawashita attacks can't be helping. Maybe some giant plants would brighten his day. And it would help to know how the Awesomnium impacted plants for other stuff too. He has been so busy lately I haven't really managed to catch up with him much. It seems like he is never in his cabin or his office. And the labs get sealed sometimes when certain experiments are going on. I'm sure he is just really busy with all of his work.     Very nicely made and the subtle use of blue allows it to really stand out and have a substantial visual impact!

    A very well done remake. It looks great in Octan colors and you did a nice job modifying the story also to fit in. I'm thinking I'll have to include some of these alternate universe variants of characters in future builds.

    That is a giant build. Reminds me a lot of an oil rig. I liked the story and how you had so many builds to accompany it like the various drones. The Kawa ship is really impressive and it is funny that it barely even factors into the build and story. Lots of neat details the more you look at it.

    Love the look of the fighter and the water spray. I like the way you have the fighter angled too, makes it much more visually interesting!

    2 of them actually! At Octan, we all love our corporation so much why would we need to have non-work branded clothing? When you work for the best, you want to show pride!

    The airlock door and the circles in the wall really both stand out me. Nice photography in the 2nd and 3rd pics, very creepy and scifi.

    The front and rear both have great detailing and shapes. I also find the assorted containers and armament around the ship to be top notch!

    I voted panda suit because panda. But I also like Unicorn girl and was so happy when I finally got one. I'd like to see Tanooki suit, though not sure of all the licensing issues. We already have wolfman from S14, so I wouldn't want a dog or wolf. I guess I'd like to see cow or lion. I'd think cow would be pretty possible.

I hope I did it justice. // PERSONAL DIARY // Dr. Long had been looking into how best to experiment on water extraction and water analysis techniques and had asked me to spend some time assisting. I was certainly glad to help but it was a surprise that she would send me to a desert planet to work on a water project. From above it looked like just a building stuck in the middle of the desert. It wasn't until I had actually been to the lower levels that I realized just how gargantuan the lab really was. Extra Pics:

    Location: H06 Farmolis Tags: Previously... // PERSONAL DIARY // After a very busy last few weeks doing work with Extensive Enterprises I returned back to Farmolis to Octan HQ for a bit of time off for the holidays. ED-208 said he needed to check in one pombe's assistant Sue, so I did a bit of shopping before the Xmas eve party. I wanted to be there early in case Dr. Long decided to take a break from all of her work and make an appearance. When I got there only a couple of other Octan employees were there and then Dr. Richard Johnson showed up. I'm not quite sure if he knows someone or what but he always gets drunk at our parties and does inappropriate things yet somehow never seems to get in trouble. Plus he wears the most obvious toupee ever. Even when you point out that his facial hair is brown and the hair on his head is black he claims that is just how it naturally grows. He was holding mistletoe up and walking around trying to get everyone to kiss him. On the plus side I was happy to see that our CEO pombe had sent me a gift! He said that it was something he had gotten himself and that he was sure it would prove useful to me. It was really amazing that he had thought of me and that he had personally acquired my gift.     Love the dropship. The whole shape is great, especially the engines and cockpit. Very nice foliage you have going on also.

    I love the vibrant colors and various aquatic life. Given that on our own planet we've got life at below freezing temps (thanks salt water!) and on thermal vents, it would seem only natural that other planets feature life! I wish I had some of those vine stalk things (not sure what they are called), they make great kelp!

    Given the price point and minifigs I'll buy it. The playset will just be parts to me though.
