  1. I mean, it's not technically in a row since the Disney and Batman series are between them. But if you consider just numbered series then yes I guess it would be 3 Queen dresses in a row. But how is that any different than getting at least 1 dress sloped figure or short legged figure in nearly every series? Also, the Queen dress is the clearly superior choice for the discussed figure concepts, so why not make the most out of the mold by reusing it on as many concepts as possible? It feels a bit more versatile than the Faun legs, which were introduced in the same series...
  2. Whoa! What a big bag! It's interesting that the Farmer is on the bag instead of the Laser Mech. Seems like a last minute change to me.
  3. Ice King Gender: Male Color scheme like the Ice Queen: light blue skin, white beard and white hair w/ icy crown (could be a new mold or an existing one), and a similar cloth cape and outfit. Accessory is a trans-light blue ice sword. Cupid Gender: Male Curly light yellow hair with olive branch (new mold?), a white toga with bare yellow arms and two-toned legs, and feathery wings akin to Imp's wings (new mold). Accessory could wither be a pearl gold longbow, OR (preferably) a new bow-and-arrow mold in white, with a red heart-tipped arrow. Pilgrim Gender: Male Wears a black ensemble with a buckled pilgrim hat (new mold), collar printing on torso, arm printing for the white cuffs, and two-toned legs with white socks and black shoe and buckle printing like Captain Hook's legs. Accessory could be a few things: a musket, a drumstick, or an actual live turkey (new mold) Baker Gender: Female A mainly white outfit with a new headgear mold (baker's hat with either one or two dark orange or nougat braids), red ascot and buttoned coat printing on the torso, with printing that extends onto the legs. She could have an apron printed on instead. As for accessory, I was thinking she could come with oven mitts as hands (new molds), or maybe a new kind of bread or pastry such as a round brioche roll or lattice-crust pie. Gangster Girl Gender: Female A black outfit with a new headgear mold (a fedora combined with reddish brown or dark brown hair in a style like the Hula Dancer's), a pinstripe jacket with back and arm printing, and either plain blakc legs with the skirt printed on, or a cloth pinstripe skirt with fishnet (?) stocking print on the legs and black shoes. Accessory could either be a tommy gun or the pistol and violin case like the S5 Gangster.
  4. Got the last two figures I needed to complete my series (Maleficent and Buzz Lightyear). I love all the details on Buzz's outfit, especially on the legs. Maleficent is still my favorite; her collar and hat really sell her well. She looks like she would go great with Regana's castle from the Elves theme, for some reason...
  5. I'd like a different color scheme as well, but I'm not sure how 'different' it will be. For some reason, I could see her wearing mainly orange with maybe some black. Bright colors are needed to stand out from the snow and ice... I would say red, but the Imp is also red (though thats not really here nor there). I don't expect a crazy color like Pink or Lavender.
  6. It is always, always, always the same distribution per box of 60 figures if it has been untouched. If the distribution is off, then somebody went through it.
  7. Well, considering the Wildlife Photographer is said to have a parka hood, maybe she'll have a generic jacket print (with female curves of course) And a goggled face? Maybe her legs will be two-toned, with boot prints on the toe like the Snowboarder? On that note, are there any ideas of what color scheme she will have? Are we thinking the Orange and Blue like the Arctic sets from a while back, or will she be a peculiar color (Medium Azure comes to mind??)
  8. Male minifigure: Series 11: Island Warrior Female minifigure: Series 13: Unicorn Girl Licensed minifigure: Disney Series: Maleficent What is your least favourite CMF that you own? Series 10: Motorcycle Mechanic What CMF do you want the most? I still need to actually get Maleficent, though I would also like to get an army of Island Warriors if they ever become affordable... What S16 CMF are you most looking forward to? Series 16: Cyborg, Imp, Rogue, Serenader, Spooky Boy, Spy, Arabian Knight, and Ice Queen Honorable Mentions? Favorites: S10 Medusa, S11 Yeti, S11 Scarecrow, S11 Gingerbread Man, S12 Hun Warrior, S12 Spooky Girl, S12 Wizard, S13 Classic King, S15 Laser Mech, S15 Tribal Woman, S15 Faun, S15 Flying Warrior, DS Stitch, DS Buzz Lightyear, DS Ursula, DS Cheshire Cat Least Favorites: S6 Flamenco Dancer, S7 Jungle Boy
  9. Where are these places!? It feels like the stores near me only put out a box at a time... Searching 2 Targets, 2 Walmarts and a TRU turned up nothing but a few Series 15 packs. Which is a bummer considering today is release day for this Series...
  10. That's not a scar - the mermaid tail minifigure element is actually comprised of two pieces melded together. That's just the seam where the two components meet. It's on all mermaid tails - including older variations like the one on the Ocean King - but they aren't as noticable since they're printed and in duller, lighter colors. An undecorated element in a dark, bright color like Ariel's tail makes the seam more visible, so unfortunately I doubt you'll find a replacement that won't have it relatively visible...
  11. And, I believe it was said that the dog will be a terrier-style dog (like Toto from The Wizard of Oz). There was a mock-up of the Friends penguin mold with CMF-style print on this thread. It looked fine to me, even though I'd rather see a new mold for a different kind of penguin... Like an emperor penguin or a rockhopper!
  12. This. While figures made of existing parts aren't as "exciting" as other figures, many of them still have unique colors, and failing that, unique prints. The Arabian Knight will almost undoubtedly have a turban if he is comprised of existing pieces. As for weapons - probably a sword of some kind. Whether he will dual-wield swords of be a sword-and-shield bearer remains to be seen. As for armor - I'm thinking nothing plastic. Maybe a cloth cape if we're lucky. I'm kind of hoping for an extensively detailed print figure akin to the Frightening Knight or Wrestling Champion, even though those two each had a new part... Edit: I also wouldn't mind a BIG sword like CM4Sci's interpretation, but I certainly hope it's not that specific sword, even if it looks right... Something about it is off to me.
  13. Another stellar review, WhiteFang! It just makes me want to get that Maleficent figure even moreso! I love how you mixed in the BBT figures, especially the one with Raj and Aladdin.
  14. The Ursula with the lavender torso looks only okay to me. IMO the difference is pretty negligible, but overall the lavender torso does look better from the front, while the black one looks better from the side.
  15. I picked Maleficent as my favorite, though Stitch and Buzz Lightyear are a close second and third. And I don't mind LEGO doing licensed or themed series, as long as we have at least 1 regular-numbered series in there as well, since I like seeing original LEGO minifigure concepts.
  16. Unlikely, to be honest. Any correspondence I've had in the past for replacement parts in a Minifigures series resulted in a free blind bag or two, and you don't decide which ones you'll get. It never hurts to ask, though.
  17. I have 5 Flying Warriors and 5 Laser Mechs. I keep considering buying more, but I don't know how many would be enough... They both look great in groups, especially the Laser Mech. Also, the wings on both make a big difference!
  18. My feeling skills were on point today. All 16 figures I bought turned out to be unique. Only two I'm missing are Buzz and Maleficent, which is a bummer because those were the two I was most looking foward to getting... So I'll definitely be looking again in the future. My favorites of the ones I received are Cheshire Cat, Stitch, Toy Story Alien, Ursula, and Captain Hook.
  19. Excuse the quality, but I wanted to share Hook's hairpiece on a lady. Works well IMO
  20. Finally found some! I was able to feel 16/18 figures between two different Targets (Holyoke, MA and Enfield, CT). I still need to open them to confirm, but the best part was that they were still ringing up as $3.39!
  21. Someone is trying to sell that misprint for a LOT of money... But it brings up an interesting thought concerning misprints and their perceived value. Is it really worth it? IMO, I would prefer a properly-printed Mickey in the first place, as misprints don't interest me. If I get a figure where the parts or printing are misaligned or not to my satisfaction, I buy another, and usually I am able to combine the parts of both figures to get one that meets my expectations. However, I can understand the frustration of wanting to have it right the first time, since buying multiple figures can add up...
  22. The Target I went to in Holyoke, MA still had Series 15, but I did grab a few considering the $3.39 price tag. They were in such an obscure place, as they were at the end of the aisle with the Bratz dolls two rows down from the LEGO... It helps to bring an empty packet to scan at the price checkers, since it tells you what aisle it's stocked in. I hope to see Disney ones soon, though I'll probably wait until the official May 1st release date. It's weird how Series 15 is also labeled as the May Series at Target...
  23. I kind of hope the Ice Queen only has a collar piece, so that the back of her torso is printed... Her arm in the photo looks like it's clipped or something... It's just odd. It seems like she does come with a lower cape part and arm printing... Or am I just seeing things? And I think her cape elements will be cloth - definitely not plastic, which was necessary to get a translucent spiderweb print for the Spider Lady.
  24. Cool! I only wondered because you can get a picture in front of the castle with Tink in your hand while at Magic Kingdom, so part of me thought she might be a holdable accessory, which honestly wouldn't be bad either, if she was made right. But I'd prefer her appearance be as a minifigure like the rest of them.
