    Such a masterpiece, a truely impressive build. The level of detail is fantastic, not only the ship itself with the decoration (love the black and yellow colour scheme), but all that rigging, the interior, the crew, I keep coming back to take it all in.

    Great story, very creepy and I could almost hear the drums as I was reading. Awesome build too, I really really like the terrain of the island, such nice curves with the sand, and the water and palms just set the whole thing off nicely. The minifigure placement might be a pain, but its definitely worth it, the shot with the fort being overrun is perfect for the story, looks fantastic.

    This is the story of, in the grand scheme of things, a very small scuffle somewhere in New Terra between two of the factions, Oleon and Corrington. It was of course all Oleon's fault, they were sailing in what had clearly been marked as Corrington Waters, and sailing far to close to the newly discovered Island of Cocovia for the liking of Corrington. , on Flickr Luckily Corrington had faster ships and upon spying the vessel one of these ships was able to head off the offending Oleon vessel, overtaking the ship and forcing her to deviate from her course. There was a tense stand-off in the water, but Oleon knew she was out gunned 2-1 by the larger Corrington ship and slunk of into the distance. , on Flickr And that is the story of a very small and insignificant scuffle between Oleon and Corrington, may there be many more to follow. (this is my first proper attempt at micro building, with a very pared down travel lego kit, in hindsight I would have grabbed a larger range of bricks, especially for making the sails, and some more inverted slopes for the ship's hull).

    A truly great scene, you've captured building in the mangroves perfectly. I'm really liking that vegetation, can't wait to see how your building on the island continues.

    This is fantastic, I love how you've done the scenes from both the boat's and the fort's perspective, great idea and well executed!

    Nice ship, seems like Corrington are doing a job lot on promotions, with James William Chase and William Chase making it to Captain in the same week, perhaps they were on the bottle... (Edit: just to be clear, if you google William Chase, you'll find he really is on the bottle )

    That house looks cool and the interior is looking great. Plus I really like the way the arch is constructed with a proper keystone.

    The whole scene looks great, but I think those Corries can manage a few undisciplined pirates...

    They look awesome, I really like the SNOT deck and the colour scheme looks fab for Oleon. Also good use for the for those white pieces at the top of the masts, not sure what they are called but I want to steal that idea and use some for the same purpose at some point.

    For my Hot Coals build I typed in "photo montage" to the Mac app store and downloaded some free software (photo editor or something, it was translated to norwegian) to arrange the photos to get this effect OnHotCoalsMontage, on Flickr, once I'd chosen the photos it was a case of dragging, dropping and resizing. It wasn't perfect, I had to compromise on the number of photos to get the layout i wanted, but it was quicker than setting up the strip myself. I added the captions using illustrator afterwards. But I am sure there is a better way out there.

    Cool scene, I like the lookout post and the overall setting makes the build. I especially like the pond, it adds to the feel of low lying marshland, is the fort set in specific island?

    The water is incredible! I really like the untouched look of the beach, like nobody has ruined the surface of sand by walking on it yet. All the details add up to a great scene!

    Great entry! The fort looks really solid and I like the way you have integrated it into the beach and cliffs. Minifigure action is really good too

    Thats absolutely fine, I added a post anyway, since I have now licensed the fort. Its a small fortress at the moment.

Wasn’t that the pirate ship that the Pandora captured last month during a trade run?” “The very same”, replied Sir James, “I’ve had her refitted and she’ll be sailing under Corrington Colours this month. I’ve accepted a commission into the Royal fleet and I’ll be captaining her.” “Well she seems to fit the bill, you’ve certainly given her some big guns, I hope they’ll serve you well against your attackers, the Sea rats are sure to want her back” Watton smirked, “Looks a bit cramped though, is there actually enough room for them all in there?” WarBrig3, on Flickr “I am sure there is” Sir James snapped back, “right to business, you’ll be manning the fort while I’m gone and overseeing the construction our plantations with Akatu, and I need you to purchase me a suitable residence on the islands, I am expecting company.” “Company?” Yes my brother, Mr Greyshaw, married to my eldest sister Maria last spring will captain Jezebel. He will join us and he brings with him Mrs Greyshaw and my younger sister Miss Elena Chase also being joining the party.” Sir James failed to notice the new shade of pink that Watton turned at the mention on Miss Chase and continued undeterred. “With all this new activity going on I will need, some help to keep my personal affairs in order and Miss Chase will keep house for me.” WarBrig2, on Flickr As a captured ship from last month's MRCA, Friends Forever belongs to the Royal Fleet of Corrington and is licensed as a 4A. And as this is my 4th freebuild of the month (and likely final) for Corrington Approvals are appreciated alongside C & C.

    This scene is awesome, great story too. The crates are cool, I'd like to steal that design someday and the spiral staircase is really well done. So much to look at here :-)

    Thanks :-) I've never tried it myself, but I saw something about it recently or maybe it was just when I read up on it for the build, but I gather its not that bad really, not sure I would be first in line myself to try it but I'd give it a go once I'd watched a few others at it maybe. Thanks, I tried to be in keeping with existing knowledge of the Ténotclaxcans, so I was using your thread as guide to get the details down, so I'd be really happy to have it included

    Intriguing story, I await to find out about this letter. Great build too, I like the large candle stick in the corner and the set-up for the photo taken across the table is really good, such a good angle and it really showcases off the scene with your characters and that bookcase, good job.

    Oooo nice rocks, I like really like the overall set up of this build. Looks fantastic. It's nice to see some Corlander/Eslandolan co-operation taking place too.
