  1. Was in regards to the idea of us also getting Ravenclaw students - Myrtle does not share that many scenes with Ravenclaw's surprisingly in the movies.
  2. Would guess that the Hulkbuster is built asymmetrically with its right side arm being able to move back and forth in a similar way to K-2SO or Skull Basher. Not seeing any other way the 'go to sleep' feature would be adapted for the figure. The Milano has the bike which can drop out similar to the AoU Quinjet The Thresher appears to be able to fire the spinning blade The Wakanda set has a large circular disc on the front which i believe activates something when pushed, probably a collapsing feature that works with the Thresher Looking at the Sanctum, the Water Tank seems too small to fit a figure, it's only two bricks high... It also does not look like it can open up from the side, so i guess you just pull off the top and use the Water Tower to store the Iron Spider suit - except it does not appear large enough. Here is a dissection of the pieces i believe are used, the circular gap does not seem large enough for a figure.
  3. Depends on the scene they are trying to replicate.
  4. I would like both, i just dont think Lego would do it. Lego has been a little reluctant to give variants lately - Black Panther is the only example i can think of and they still re-used one of these variants in Infinity War rather than giving us the variant we needed (Normal suit, closed eyes) I think the budget is more based on a theme for a year rather than for a subtheme of that theme - e.g. having a budget for the Marvel sets as a whole rather than a budget for Avengers sets specifically. I sort of expect we'll get a set, but i just dont see people hyped for anything other than getting newer figures.
  5. I was unsure why people would want a Lego Ant-Man & The Wasp set other than potentially for the figures - and you responded saying people want it for the figures Debatable - for example this is her Ant-Man & The Wasp outfit; And here is from the end credits of Ant-Man; I'd honestly rather get the end credits / potential Avengers 4 version. Plus if we get a version of Wasp for 'Ant-Man and the Wasp' i would expect chances would diminish in us getting a variant for Avengers 4, and in the long term I'd rather have figures that are more accurate to an Avengers movie than a solo movie - even if that means potentially missing out on MCU figures for Ghost and Goliath
  6. I'm not too sure why people want a Ant-Man & The Wasp set so much, other than potentially for the figures - and even then we'll get Ant-Man and Wasp either in the exclusive set, D2C OR Avengers 4 sets for certain given they are popular characters. The only thing we may miss out on if we did not get an 'Ant-Man & The Wasp' set would be the villains and potentially the original Hank Pym and Wasp.
  7. Giving the timing of NYTF (17th-20th Feb) i dont really see any reason why they would not be there, especially if they are released barely a week or so afterwards. We already have official images leaked at the moment so Lego are likely preparing to unveil the sets officially in a press release (given if they were just for Lego's website we probably would have seen other angles of the sets revealed along with potential box art.
  8. LEGO does not have a stand at all at the London Toy Fair (23-25 Jan) Severe reporting and photography restrictions will be in place at Nuremberg (31 Jan – 4 Feb) LEGO will not be exhibiting the summer releases at the New York toy fair (17-20 Feb) Only products launching the first half of 2018 will be in the LEGO booth this year at Toy Fair. They will not be showing any products launching June or later. Source So to summarize a timeline of when to expect things 23 - 25th Jan; Toy Fair London No Lego on Display so we wont really see much around this time other than potential leaks Around the end of Jan/start of Feb More news/details of the D2C set will appear A calendar image for March will appear potentially revealing the D2C Infinity War set If the D2C itself is important enough we may get a press release similar to the AoU Helicarrier (Though notably that had a VIP release which may push the reveal earlier than the Infinity War D2C) 31 - 4th Feb; Toy Fair Nuremberg Lego on display presumably from Winter Wave (before June) Officially revealed images of the six main Infinity War sets should appear at this time similar to Civil War 17 - 20th Feb; Toy Fair New York This will provide more images of the six main Infinity War sets likely from various angles in person The D2C itself may be on display Around the 14th May The exclusive Infinity War set will be revealed, due to spoilers it will likely not be revealed until after the movie It will likely be revealed around the 14th similar to the Spider-man Civil War set
  9. Yeah, it's The Billion Brick Race. Though we have not heard much on that movie so we might not see it happen till 2020.
  10. If this translation is correct, it kind of makes sense. I doubt that they would stop production of them completely, just that they are likely to be phased out of the Lego Website. I doubt they would want Infinity War sets around the same time as Avengers 4 sets. 2019 is packed with three MCU movies, two DCEU movies, two Lego movies, Star Wars 9 and a flurry of other sets. 2020 seems likely though; GotG3 - normally we only get three sets for the GotG movies Doctor Strange 2 (Rumored) - previous Doctor Strange movie only received a single set Black Widow (Rumored) - which is unlikely to get more than a single set Seems like there would be room for other sets.
  11. To be fair, while we know Ant-Man is in the movie, we dont know as to what extent. Could be a cameo, joke or minor role. D2C or exclusive set give us potential for the figures also i suppose?
  12. I think it makes more sense to skip sets for 'Ant-Man and the Wasp' and just combine them with Avengers 4. Infinity War sets, despite the flaws, give us a wide range of characters and i can see Ant-Man, Wasp and Captain Marvel being used to sell Lego sets for Avengers 4. If we did get a 'Ant-Man and the Wasp' set it would probably feature; Ant-Man, Wasp, Ghost and possibly Goliath
  13. I speculated a while ago it may be (Or include) a small 'Tony Stark Workshop' so we wouldn't get a full Hulkbuster, just the helmet along with a few other scraps and maybe an Iron Man suit or room to display his suit. It could happen, but not sure what sort of D2C would accommodate that. If it's a vehicle we haven't really seen a situation where it has an interior lab, given we dont know the price it's difficult to judge.
  14. A leak showed a Hulkbuster helmet - it appeared to be midway between the Mk 1 Hulkbuster from AoU and the Mk 2 Hulkbuster we've seen in the trailer for Infinity War. We also had the Mk 43 variant shown around the same time, surprisingly the first images we got of this variant featured a transparent clear head implying it was a drone of some kind or an empty suit. Later versions, including the one i own, all feature a generic Tony Stark head. So perhaps the suit is not worn by Tony in the movie but simply included in the set on display or something. I think we should lean primarily on the info we have been told at the moment, that it's something related to a 'good guy ship' and that its not the Quinjet. The Helicarrier was revealed in official images on Jan 29th and released to VIP's on February 17-28 with a full release on March 1st. I could easily see the Infinity War D2C following a similar sort of layout, though probably pushed back a little if we do not get a VIP release. Either way, not long to wait - two weeks or so i'd guess at the most till we get more information
  15. A translated foreign description apparently labelled it as a 'good guy ship' - the only other information we've had has been from SpiderJazz who has relayed that it's 'not the Quinjet' The missing Hulkbuster helmet and Iron Man MK43 variant (via leaks) are interesting, it could potentially mean another Hulkbuster - but i doubt that would be the D2C due to the presumed idea of price and the ship remark above. xD
  16. I'm seeing the reasoning behind it in terms of potential figures, just not in terms of design/how iconic the set is.
  17. It's an 'OK' design i suppose at the front and back, the middle is a bit bland and box shaped - but I'm not really sure it's iconic enough to warrant a set or will be used much in Infinity War. Everything we've seen, via Ragnarok, hints that it'll basically be destroyed in the opening scene. It could be an excuse to get Korg, Heimdall, Eye-patch Thor, Loki, Valkyrie and potentially a different version of Thanos... but I'm not sure anyone really wants this as a set to display. It's very focused around the Asgardians and i can see many people immediately scrapping it unless it looks better in set form - such is the problem with a D2C if it's not iconic. I mean, story wise, i can see it going out in a blaze of glory to destroy the Sanctuary II and delay Thanos... but i dont think the ship itself is that good of a design. http://marvelcinematicuniverse.wikia.com/wiki/Statesman Does your source have any estimations on the price? I presume they have seen the catalogue even if they cannot comment on the set itself? An idea of price would be helpful even if it's a guess/estimate. A lot of us are already going to be struggling to allocate budget for these sets, let alone the exclusive set and the D2C.
  18. It's alright, thanks for relaying what you have so far. In your own opinion, when would you expect us to see images of the set? The potential lack of being released as a VIP set would make it less likely to be in the calendar, so when would they reveal it? In universe, the Helicarriers have all been destroyed except the original one - which was repaired and last seen in Age Of Ultron, unless i am mistaken. Regardless i still think that they could redesign and re-release a Lego set of the Helicarrier, it was very popular and if redesigned to remove the motorized gimmick it could probably be streamlined in terms of pieces - after all it was never really in scale to begin with. Either way, the remarks from SpiderJazz about it not being the 'Quinjet, good news for those guys who is tired in getting the Avengers aircraft' leads me to expect now that it's for the Guardians or Thor's group - if it is indeed a good guy ship. The Statesman has an interesting design and admittedly i would like to get some of the figures from such a potential set - but i doubt it's iconic enough personally. We haven't even seen it in the trailers/marketing yet (other than perhaps a shot from the interior)
  19. Iron Man; Pretty much as expected - not really many design changes, but looks good, seems lighter than the previous one Thanos; Looks good other than the printed gauntlet piece and the yellow instead of gold Star Lord; Face looks weird, they did not do the best job portraying the helmet with the printed piece - other than that looks good Gamora; Hair is interesting not sure it works well, but other than that looks good Hopefully it's not the Milano either though... would be so odd to get the Milano after getting two sets devoted to the Milano in this line-up already and GotG3 presumably arriving in 2020. Part of me is concerned it might be a smaller version of the Helicarrier with all the talk about 'good guy' ships xD
  20. Any details you can give? Have you seen it? Any idea what it is/what figures are included?
  21. HYPE! Does that mean it will be on the calendar? Kind of like the Helicarrier?
  22. Hype level dropping =/ Looking at the current sets the only one that makes sense for a 'good guy ship' for a D2C is the Quinjet. I cannot see them releasing a barely recognizable ship that appeared at the end of Thor Ragnarok or a random ship that may be introduced in Avengers Infinity War. Was really wishing it was an 'Avengers Facility' or something similar to house the Avengers - the only thing remotely like that we've had has been Avengers Tower in AoU and a majority of that was focused on the Iron Man suits and Ultron. If you mean the 'Ark' i believed they were all destroyed, the last one being owned by Malekith and destroyed in Thor; The Dark World. The ship at the end of Thor Ragnarok is known as the 'Statesman' and the ship that finds them in the end credits is known as the 'Sanctuary II' not sure who discovered/made the names, but that's what they have been called.
  23. Yeah, the space bike could be a problem, depends how much room is taken up. If it's like Age Of Ultron then i doubt the middle has room, other than maybe one figure on the bike. I think the front has enough room for two or three figures, bike presumably can fit one figure while Thor's drop pod can fit at least two. So i'd guess five or six figures. We need to see more though, it's always possible the altered design enables four figures to sit up the front which would allow all seven figures to fit (4 front, 1 bike, 2 pod)
  24. SPECULATION Personally leaning towards the $50 set being an extension of the Thanos' Ultimate battle looking similar to the 'Ultimate Battle For Asgard' which was also priced at $50. Build; Circular spaceship from the trailers Figures; Nebula, Mantis, Drax, Loki, Hulk Reasoning; The set would work also extremely well when paired with Thanos' Ultimate Battle and Thor's Weapon Quest; You would have all the Guardians (7) via these three sets (Rocket, Groot, Gamora, Star Lord, Nebula, Drax and Mantis) You would have Thor and Loki You would have Hulk and Thanos to battle it out You would be able to complete the Guardians ship via attaching the drop pod from Thor's Weapon Quest and that should in theory give it room to fit all the Guardians You would have the spaceship of the Guardians and one of the spaceships of Thanos/Black Order to have the two battle it out The D2C would then include some of the remaining Earth-based heroes such as War Machine, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch and Iron Man Mk43 (No upper torso plate) which would fill well with the idea of it being Avengers Facility and filling out most the missing characters.
  25. My mistake, it's basically the Mk43 (Pictured below) - upper torso print is different, legs have a tiny bit more detail in the gap on the side.
