Hopefully we see the Infinity War sets soon, the trailer is basically confirmed for Thursday at this point as the countdown is on '2' and the Jurassic World 2 trailer has been pushed back away from Thursday. Rhino Face-Off by the Mine; The figures are lacking in detail but the Rhino looks nice even though the legs feel like a mistep and would have preferred the brick built legs used in Chima sets. The small mine build actually looks like it could be fun. I believe those are new rail pieces similar to the Joker Mansion set? If so then it'd be useful to have some more of them. The most interesting pieces for me are the black Nexo Knights mech pieces used for the minecart. Though the figures are'nt the best i'm leaning more towards getting this set than the other set. Royal Talon Fighter Attack; This one is a bit more disappointing - primarily as the main build is likely covered in stickers. The figures are once again disappointing - the best aspect being Killmonger's mask though the colour scheme seems off. Klaue would have been better with a new arm piece or at least some new weapon piece - as the hand-held weapon piece he has seems too large to represent his sonic arm cannon. The vehicle has some interesting pieces but not sure i'm really liking the design - and i dont think it has enough visible unique pieces to justify a purchase.

Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation
Scarilian replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Possibly, as long as we see the catalogue pics prior to the new year i'll be happy as i need time to focus on prioritising what to get. As long as we get a printed circular window piece then it should'nt be too difficult to replicate. Two palace cinema's together for example would give an idea of the basic exterior shape. They are just a celebration of the MCU - hence why Thor has his hammer - and not confirmation of an appearance. -

I'm almost certain we are getting the trailer in three days - given the recent post of a comical number '3' on the official facebook page for the Russo Brothers - Trailer (3 days time - either 30th November or 1st December) - Catalogue (Mid December - Around the 15th Onwards) - Official Pictures (Late January - around the 22nd) Images are appearing for a Marvel celebratory photoshoot thing - some are wearing the Infinity War outfits so i've reposted so people can get a better look below. This is for a photoshoot so aspects such as Mjolnir along with other things are different to how they'll be in Infinity War. -

Mario i trust. A new member who is relaying context of a PM and was the only one relaying these aspects has an understandable level of scrutiny. It's nothing against the user, just trust takes time to build. I am appreciative of all trustworthy information. I am solely cautious of fake information which was had been spread other years and the 'trusted person sent me this' is a tactic i could see them using. It's fine, i was probably too harsh on that aspect - i just tend to follow the making of the movie rather closely and to me it was a situation where i remember the 'EB-MAW' on his shoulder and unless you were focused on it you would probably not notice i guess. I'd honestly hope it would be slightly better than the Avengers Tower style - that one seemed a little lacking. Though i do like the idea of mini-diorama style set-ups for each layer/room. -

I am noticing a few inconsistencies in your remarks - for example the set photo's showed Ebony Maw (Not Cull Obsidian/Black Dwarf) Vs Doctor Strange. I am also slightly skeptical as to why Mario_Power would tell specifically you, and seemingly nobody else, about the figures Mario has. If Mario wanted it to be public knowledge chances are Mario would have just said and if Mario was going to share/leak them Mario probably would have done so. Either way, a potential big-fig Thanos figure does not confirm that is the only variant of Thanos we will get - it could be from the main battle set or potentially the D2C with us getting a different version of Thanos in another set. -

My hope is that the Black Panther figure in that sets will either have printing or be in a set with other good quality figures to justify it. I have the Civil War Black Panther so i'm not particularly racing to go after his solo movie sets unless the figures are better or interesting villain designs. At this stage i'm just focused on getting the line-up of Avengers for Infinity War in costumes that i think are the best (Not going for film accuracy as much, just well done Lego figures) -

Black Panther suit variants thoughts; Unlike the previous Black Panther we have gotten, all of them feature less detail and no printing for the 'ear' piece that they have. The open eyed version is on a different suit to the Civil War version so it's not worth getting even for the altered head. The head prints seem messy in terms of design and all (except the eyes open one) lack the 'Panther' style look they were going for. Killmonger is the closest to having as much detail as the Civil War Black Panther figure, and the raised printing on all of these helps to an extent, but not enough to justify getting them. Especially when the raised printing is not particularly viewable except from certain angles. This lack of printing is starting to get stupid, especially when we had sets like Ant-Man where we got three figures with unique head, torso, leg and helmet printing in 2015 and here we are two years later and they couldn't even be bothered giving us printing on the tiny 'ear' piece this time. They all feel incomplete and I'm not interested in incomplete representations of the MCU characters anymore - a simple line or two of print would have been enough, or even giving the Man Of Steel Zod legs if they were not going to print something new. At least I don't have to worry about getting these anymore - especially with one of the Infinity War sets already containing another Black Panther suit which will hopefully be better than these. Shall just save for the Infinity War sets which hopefully will be where all the money they are saving from incomplete figures is going. -

If we get catalogue pics then we'll see the Infinity War sets early - kind of like what happened with the AoU sets around the 15th December. Though we probably wont get official good pictures of the Infinity War sets until January. Black Panther pictures will definitely be within a month though. Would prefer the Sanctuary II as the Avengers HQ from what we've seen of in in-film so far does not look that interesting in terms of design. The Sanctuary II would make more sense given it's Thanos's ship so we could see a Big-Fig Thanos and maybe a few of the characters missing from the descriptions such as Nebula and Drax. All depends on the quality of the build though, as i dont think we've had a great villain vehicle for the Marvel movie line so far. -

Guess that confirms the leak as official then... not sure why they would be angered if the leak was fake... xD A Brick-built Thanos could work i suppose - depends how it is done. Once again, he has size shifted in the animated TV series, so it could happen in the film which could justify a brick-built figure. I still expect that Thanos will get two different set forms - one brick-built, the other a big-fig. At this stage just interested to see the sets now and hopefully judge how much i need to save up. If the Outriders are good then may army build them. The lists we got was only a few sets, not all of them. Pretty sure we are getting a D2C set that may be the biggest set. Though it does make sense that Sanctum Sanctorum would be re-done, as it is easily more visually appealing than the Avengers Mansion and can provide more interesting features. It also had a large role in Doctor Strange's movie and, due to the description, may have a large role in Infinity war. -

In regards to Cull Obsidian, i would prefer an altered Big-Fig for him, he looks like he would be more suited to that sort of figure just with a different face and shoulder pad. Klow Vs Samurai X from Ninjago actually has something fairly similar to how i expect Cull Obsidian to be handled - including a face/mask with spikes, printed face, some additional body clothing and kneepads - shows that Lego definitely have what is needed to portray the character in a good way in Big-fig form - more so than a Steppenwolf style attempt at replicating him. Maybe have him be the size of the new Killer Croc - so he is taller than Hulk (and a potential big-fig Thanos we might end up getting In terms of scale; If this image is an accurate portrayal of the sizes then; Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight and Ebony Maw should all be minifigures Thanos should get a big-fig version to represent him in one of the sets (As mentioned, doubt it will be 76107, more likely the D2C) Cull Obsidian should get a larger big-fig version (possibly the same size as the new Killer Croc) Pretty much this. If we are going for the idea of a collectable bunch of Infinity Stones, it makes no sense that they would'nt be for a Gauntlet that could actually fit them. Even if we take the idea that the Infinity Stones are 1x1 circle pieces - that still leaves a Gauntlet the size of the Mighty Micro Thanos vehicle. To me it seems more likely that they would make him as a brick-built figure like Ares or a Mech-like figure akin to the Tech Wizard Battle because of this level of scale. The remarks about Thanos having a sword also seem to point to this, as it would be rather silly to give us a big-fig Thanos and have him holding a sword - it would just look underwhelming especially when facing off against roughly 20+ mini-figure scale characters accumulated from the other sets (not to mention the others we may be unaware of). I think we will get a big-fig Thanos, but not for that set - more likely for the D2C set that is expected to arrive where it'll probably be replicating another scene from the film where he's not facing all of the Avengers at once. E.g. Have the final battle of the movie portrayed in the publically revealed set while the D2C will feature an iconic more secretive scene from the movie, such as Thanos potentially suprise attacking Avengers Mansion or Thanos's spaceship. -
Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation

'potential' because it seems like a likely option - hence the speculation i made in my previous post. We had a very similar description for a 'Titan' villain in regards to Ares from the Wonder Woman sets, who also had a sword. I also mentioned how it could be explained - such as Thanos using the Gauntlet to make himself massive - something which occured in Avengers Assemble. Could be built like Ant-Man or Ares or a mech like in Tech Wizard Showdown - the last option has some level of presedence as you can easily attach the mighty micro gauntlet by replacing the sword The Brick Built Thanos would make sense if a situation such as above occured. The gauntlet could be similar to the Mighty Micro gauntlet - the individual Infinity Stones being printed 1x1 circle pieces; -

They tend to mention the main characters. For example i highly doubt that 76107 only has Iron Man, Star Lord, Gamora and a potential brick-built Thanos. Certain characters will likely be included in these sets but not named in the descriptions such as Drax, Nebula, Scarlet Witch, etc... -

Scarilian replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
So, quick thoughts... mmh. 76101 - Space Stone Six armed enemies are an alien race known as the Outriders, hopefully they get a new mould. Something similar to General Grievous would be nice. Seems like a cheap set, could be a good army builder for the outriders. Captain America should have a new face print and torso print if we are lucky, Black Widow should have new hair/hair colour. 76102 - Unknown Stone Groot should be minifigure scale this time in theory. Thor should have a new face print and torso print. Other than that, not really interested in the set from the description. 76103 - Mind Stone Bit of an odd set from the description. Black Panther and Shuri will probably be the same as in his recent sets, interested to see if we get a Vision face print without a Mind Stone in his head. I expect Corvus is here to sell the set, as otherwise it's just figures probably unchanged from Black Panther. 76104 - No Stone Mentioned The Hulkbuster Smash 2.0. Pretty much expecting the same here. Proxima Midnight is nice and the potential updates to the Hulkbuster are interesting to speculate about - but other than that, nothing really stands out other than the potential for a better Falcon suit/wing colour scheme. May have an Infinity Stone, but could easily see them leaving it out given the set has appeal regardless. 76107 - No Stone Mentioned Sounds like it's basically the Super Hero Airport battle set. Thanos is probably going to be a brick-built figure like Ares. I'd guess he has grown larger due to the Infinity Stones and that will explain why we have Infinity Stones in each set - e.g. they are circular 1x1 printed pieces that can be added to a mighty micros style gauntlet in the Thanos set due to his enlarged size. The spaceship is unknown but i expect it will either be the Milano or Quinjet for the sake of having an iconic vehicle, from the description i'm leaning more towards it being the Milano. Though the Avengers Quinjet did have a similar feature for Age Of Ultron i feel it would be better for Lego to apply that feature to a new Milano if we indeed have to get another shrunkern spaceship again. Though no Infinity Stones are mentioned, i expect the set will include two for the Gaunlet - the other four/five being scattered amongst the other sets (76101, 76102, 76103, 76104, 76108) We'll probably see another version of Thanos (likely a big-fig version) in the D2C set that is coming later which may be Avengers Mansion given this set sees to include a spaceship. 76108 - Time Stone It's a shame that this set sounds so strange. Cull Obsidian (probably a big fig) and Ebony Maw are probably what is going to sell this set along with likely another new Iron Man variant - but hopefully it looks good. The 'bedroom of Peter Parker' stuff has me concerned that it may be two seperate builds or that they'll have tried to shove in a bedroom for Peter Parker into the main Sancum Sanctorum build. -
Thought they would go for Killmonger's masked version so quite happy with that instead of a colour swapped Black Panther - though yeah, the figure looks iffy. Only the Mask actually looks good somewhat good. Might Bricklink or get a few of the Mask and turn one into Omega's Helmet from Doctor Who Killmonger; Mask is great but wrong colours, leg print is not aligned properly, no arm print, chest print is bland Female character (Not sure the name) - Hair is alright, generic face, no leg print, no arm print, chest print is alright Hopefully they are saving the budget for Infinity War sets, because these are disappointing.

When someone buys it, can they seperate all the Joker stuff from the Wayne Mansion - interested to see how it would look without all the extra's.

7 sets so far; 6 main Avengers Infinity War sets - we saw the boxes in the catalogue 1 D2C set (priced at around £100) - not shown in catalogue We've had a few D2C's near £100 Building - Brick Bank - 2380 pieces - £129.99 Building - Palace Cinema - 2196 pieces - £129.99 Bit of Both - Fairground Mixer - 1746 - £119.99 Vehicle - London Bus - 1686 pieces - £109.99 Vehicle - Maersk Line Triple-E - 1518 pieces - £109.99 The closest to the £100 have been vehicle Lego sets. This coupled with wanting to have something fairly iconic that would probably appear in Avengers Infinity War (2018), Avengers 4 (2019)... my bet is on it being The Milano. Interestingly enough someone made a UCS Milano with roughly 1500 pieces - so it's definitely possible for us to get a roughly £100 Milano D2C. Would work especially well with dividing up some of the GOTG members so the main Avengers Infinity War sets can focus more on the main Avengers. Would also help to explain why the version we got for GOTG2 was focused a lot more on function - especially if they had one focused on design/spectacle on the way. *The UCS Milano depicted here suprisingly has areas where you could replicate scenes that are from the Avengers Infinity War Comic Con Trailer

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Scarilian replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think if they had dropped the Joker aspects and just added the middle segment of Wayne Manor i would have brought this set in a heart beat. However, a lot of the Joker aspects are not particularly desirable and i've no interest in getting the white versions of the characters (unless i could get the entire set that showed up) - though the lack of the white clothed Harley and Alfred is strange (Especially Alfred) -

The toy reveal of the costume may not be accurate, as comic con descriptions mentioned he had a fully gold outfit rather than black with minor gold additions. Either way, i expect it's more likely we'll get him looking something like this from the scene where he breaks out/captures Ulysses Klaue -
[PRESS RELEASE] 75192 - UCS Millennium Falcon 2017
Scarilian replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Figure line-up is underwhelming, especially with no dual molded legs and the lack of printing on all of the arms. Should have been; Young Han, Young Luke, Young Leia, Chewie, R2D2, C3PO, Old Han, Old Luke, Old Leia, Rey, Finn, BB-8 The inclusion of two creatures from the upcoming movie seems odd, depends how they are received in the movie i guess but not interested in them. As for the set itself, disappointed that they did not have some form of larger interior - instead its basically paying for an exterior and tiny rooms - though i guess the structural integrity would not have been as strong with an interior. -

DC were more secretive with the designs while Marvel has unvieled the Black Order/Children Of Thanos publically The hope is that because they revealed Thanos and the Children Of Thanos early (July) that Lego will have gotten them fairly close to the designs shown, rather than relying on a lot of concept art. -
Would make sense, just does not really translate that well to her vehicle i guess. Most the Necrocraft were sort of elongated spheroids which does not really work with a fairly square build, would have needed to be more like Thanos's gauntlet vehicle to get the impression across.

Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation
Scarilian replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Hope so, my main concern is that the villains look great. Concerned that either Thanos or Cull Obsidian might be brick built... :/ Hopefully they do not skimp on printing again. I added him to the cheapest set as people will probably have already gotten him in either the Civil War or Black Panther sets and he was already available in a fairly cheap set prior. With the images floating around of him fighting an Outrider i think it'd work well as a small set. -
Spider-man Vs Scorpion; Seems just to be another way of getting Scorpion, nothing really remarkable though most juniors sets are basically two vehicles with a structure so was not expecting much. Thor Vs Loki; Not particularly interesting designs, Thor's has wings representing his helmet while Loki has horns on the front of his vehicle. Noteably Loki has a golden piece with a jewel, is this attempting to replicate his scepter? Star Lord Vs Nebula; Star Lord's Milano ship looks neat, probably the best vehicle of the wave, cannot make out the outfits entirely but it looks like a cheap way to get a Nebula with potentially a reasonable expression. I'm not entirely certain what Nebula is driving, appears mostly dark with a sword. The printed 1x2 tile piece with a tape looks nice though, may pick this up depending on the Nebula and Star Lord torso print, could be useful having spares. Spider-man Vs Sandman; Spider-man appears to be the Ben Reilly one, outfit might also appease those wanting to do a prototype homecoming outfit. Sandman's face looks weird but it seems a cheap way to get him for those who missed him (myself included) :P

Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation
Scarilian replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Personally speculating a layout similar to this; 76107 - Battle at Avengers Mansion (5 figures + 2 Big Fig) Avengers Mansion Building Cull Obsidian (Big Fig), Hulk (Big Fig), Gamora, Loki, Winter Soldier, Black Widow, Maria Hill 76106 - Thanos Assault (8 figures + 1 big fig) Thanos Spaceship Vehicle Thanos (Big Fig - without armour/helmet, gauntlet), Proxima Midnight (Molded hair/horn piece), Nebula, Mantis, Starlord. Drax. Iron Man. Spider-man (Iron Spider Suit), Thor 76104 - Hulkbuster Defense (4 figures) Hulkbuster Mech + collapsing tree Groot, War Machine, Bearded Captain America, 1 x Outrider Creature (Made similar to Samukai from Ninjago) 76103 - Sanctum Seige (5 figures) Lower floor of Sanctum with collapsing stairs feature Ebony Maw (Stretched head piece), Rocket Racoon, Falcon, Doctor Strange, Wong 76102 - Vision Attack (3 figures) Exploding vehicle feature Vision, Scarlet Witch. Corvus Glaive (New Weapon 76101 - War for Wakanda (3 figures) Black Panther, 2 x Outrider Creature (Made similar to Samukai from Ninjago) -
Cannot make out the numbers on the image i've seen of the Black Panther sets, but the Infinity War numbers are listed below along with the sizes and my thoughts on potential pricing and included aspects; 76107 - Second Largest set 76106 - Largest set 76104 - Fourth Largest Set, noteably taller than 76103 though much thinner (Mech/Hulkbuster or tower set?) 76103 - Third largest set (Building set?) 76102 - Fifth Largest set, probably on a similar scale to Avengers Hydra Showdown (Vehicle set?) 76101 - Smallest set, probably on a similar scale and pricing to Iron Man Vs Ultron (Minifigure set?) Overall in terms of scale they appear to be big enough sets to get most the line-up of figures that people would want, with Avengers 4 the year after hopefully we'd get a second wave of sets for then. Plus we also have the potential for sets later in the year as these will be out in March (roughly one or two months before the movie) Looks fairly good for two sets combined - i think resting it over a base plate or something might help with the look of the arena. Scorpion was originally introduced to be Spider-man's main villain, then he got replaced by Venom. Eventually they attempted to merge the two characters which is why you have Mac Gargan as Venom in some continuities. So Scorpion being the third most frequent Spider-man villain (paired with Venom for popularity) kind of makes sense.
