The Hulkbuster looks a bit of a WIP to be honest, it feels like they needed more time working on it; Chest section appears way too flat despite the attempts made at the 'breasts' The cover of the box seems to be giving the impression of waist articulation, but it does not actually appear to have any The upper arms seem reliant on a single joint piece - this should allow them articulation, but they could sag easily The lower arms have a ball-joint piece and can move up and down The body and legs appear to have an almost identical sort of set-up to the Lego Ninjago Fire Mech but seem to lack articulation that that set had They clearly attempted something with the shoulders, but seemed to give-up, the shoulders are somewhat excusable depending on arm articulation Gold segments should have been smooth and curved rather than flat with stud attachments The visual design of the legs is nice, though they should have been longer The upper legs seem to lack the ability to move forwards or backwards - just outwards No knee articulation seems to be present in the set either Light up chest, hands and knees are nice Effectively a display piece rather than playable A single figure is a joke I will likely end up getting the set but it needs a promotion to sell it, i've never really brought a set with light-up features before and it could be useful having seemingly five of them (hands, knees, chest) - though this set needs modding heavily. Shall probably add proper leg articulation (Something similar to this), better proportions, colour swapping some of the pieces and a more secure arm articulation (Thinking of using a similar connection as Cole's Quake Mech) along with some other changes. Should hopefully be done modding before the exclusive set so will show when done as long as the set does not sell out instantly and we actually get some good offers :P I'm massively leaning towards this at the moment ^ Would sort of justify the D2C lacking a figure if you get an exclusive polybag figure with purchase, still should have included more than one figure. The version i brought had a generic Tony Stark head, so perhaps it has been changed - either that or i got a spare Tony Stark head :P We definitely get a light brick for the chest, it's possible the hands are knees are just glow-in-the-dark smooth stud pieces. Though i think light bricks in the hands and knees would explain the lack of articulation in the knees and justify the price more.

Have we heard any news of a polybag promotional item? Would lean towards that... maybe double VIP points given they have a Star Wars double VIP points running exclusive to those with the card - makes sense to have double VIP running on another product so people dont feel left out.

Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation
Scarilian replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Sub-atomic submarine would probably make for a good set - i just think that we'll see Ant-Man have a character to face-off against while Was faces off against Ghost - at least that is the vibe i was getting from the trailer. Also would be unsure what would require Ant-Man to be giant in the trailer if he's not facing a giant threat - hence my speculation on Goliath :P -
True, plus not sure what timezone the calendar release is based on or even if it has a schedule

Friday is the A.I. while Veronica is the deployment module, launched from a Stark Industries Satellite. Veronica contains varying amours for deployment including the MK XLIV suit which is the Hulkbuster. The October, November and December calendar came out on the 2nd... so it's possible. We'll have to wait and see. Brickset has potential to report on the D2C if it's on the Calendar while TheBrickFan should show the calendar as soon as it appears - so would check those every now and again.

Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation
Scarilian replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Here are my thoughts on what the sets would probably be like based on my theories about the movie. If we get one set; Ant-Van vehicle + motorcycle for Ghost ($29,99) 4 Figures Wasp, Ant-Man, Goliath, Ghost Accessories would include a micro-sized Ant-Van and the ability to catapult the 'Hello Kitty' Pez dispenser from the back of the van (Similar to the Lego Brick in the previous Ant-Man set) Idea of this set would be that you'd have the Ant-Van trying to escape with Ghost in pursuit Ant-Man would be driving the vehicle while Wasp would be firing the catapult Pez dispenser. Goliath would be included in the set causing havoc. It would be similar in design to the 'Prisoner Transporter' set though given it would contain four figures instead of three, it would be priced higher and the quad-bike replaced with a motorbike. If we get two sets; Ant-Van vehicle + motorcycle for Ghost ($24.99) 3 Figures + 1 Microfigure Wasp, Ghost, Hank Pym (Outfit from the trailers), Ant-Man Microfigure (Scott Lang version) Accessories would include the 'building suitcase' from the trailers, a micro-sized Ant-Van and the ability to catapult the 'Hello Kitty' Pez dispenser from the back of the van (Similar to the Lego Brick in the previous Ant-Man set) Idea of this set would be that you'd have the Ant-Man vehicle trying to escape with Ghost in pursuit, Hank Pym would be driving while Wasp would be firing the catapult Pez dispenser. It would be similar in design to the 'Prisoner Transporter' set containing three mini-figures also - though the quad-bike would be replaced with a motorbike. Brick Built Goliath + Micro-figure scale city build ( $34.99) 1 Brick Built figure + 3 Figures + 1 Microfigure Ant-Man, Goliath, Janet Van Dyne (In original Wasp outfit), Wasp Microfigure (Hope Van Dyne version) Idea of this set would be that you'd have the Brick Built Goliath to fight against the Civil War Brick Built Ant-Man OR you'd be able to re-enact the two giant characters battling via using the mini-figures which would appear massive next to the included micro-sized City. Janet Van Dyne would be included in her original outfit to go alongside Hank Pym wearing an Ant-Man outfit in the previous Ant-Man set. It would be a similar style set to 'Wonder Woman Warrior Battle' in that the brick-built figure would be the focus though given it would contain three figures instead of two, it would be priced higher. -
Always the D2C or the exclusive set i guess - probably the exclusive set if we were to get it this wave.

True, translations are often a pain. Good guy ship could easily mean 'Good Guy Vehicle' or 'Good Guy Transport'. I'm leaning towards the Hulkbuster with Veronica side-build, with Mk43 variant, Hulk and Scarlet Witch as my last speculation on the topic before potential images appear.

Actually, speculation at the moment is that the Hulkbuster is the D2C - a main build rather than a side build. Think something in terms of Ninjago Kai's Fire Mech regarding scale if the helmet is legitimate. Granted it would be something we have gotten in set form before, and it would serve simply as a display due to scale issues - but it could potentially have some nice figures. In addition to the Mk43 variant i could see Hulk, Scarlet Witch, Quick Silver and Ultron all being viable if it is based on AoU OR perhaps a selection of the more iconic Iron Man suits to help fill out the selection we have. Though admittedly, i would also prefer getting a ton of exclusive figures instead with some kind of Avengers base - after collecting all the heroes for ages i'd kind of hoped we'd have somewhere to display them. Only a few days now though, the 1st should reveal the calendar and hopefully the set.

Probably, i know we had heard rumors i did not know if it was the same prices or the same source xD I think a lot of people got hyped on the rough timeline - given i pointed out the Helicarrier D2C set had a press release on the 29th. Though as stated at the time it had an early VIP exclusive release which the Infinity War D2C may not have. SpiderJazz confirmed that it was not the Quinjet. While the Milano is a possibility SpiderJazz also teased that all the clues were out there, from which a few of us started to look back over the leaks we had seen and pieced together a few things; The Helmet; A Hulkbuster helmet piece was revealed, looking roughly the size of pic related in comparison to the AoU Hulkbuster helmet (Left) The Hulkbuster helmet piece which was revealed appears to be identical to the hot toys version of the Hulkbuster helmet (Right) though has no printing other than the front, look at the middle image of the hot toys helmet and it's basically that The main new features of the helmet is the side gold pieces which are printed and separated from the main gold piece by silver mechanical printing If pic related is the correct scale the new Hulkbuster would be roughly 2-3 times the size of the AoU version If pic related is the correct scale the new Hulkbuster would be large enough to seemingly fit a big-fig inside it The Figure; A seemingly official Iron Man Mk 43 variant with an open silver upper bust was revealed, i own one of these and it appears legitimate The Mk 43 was used in Age Of Ultron, though i cannot remember seeing an open silver upper bust variant

The 'new for' section normally includes an image per theme detailing a single set, which would probably be one we have seen before. Here is the January calendar back for example 3-4 days, depending on timezone, puts us at 1st February which should be when we see the March calendar (Unless it leaks prior) - that is my reasoning behind the days :P True, just think less pieces are in dark red so if it is a D2C Hulkbuster we may be getting a lot of recolors. As a side-note, a foreign Lego price comparison website known as brickmerge has the following; Lego Marvel Avengers: Infinity War 76105 €49,99 Lego Marvel Avengers: Infinity War 76106 €159.99 Given it is a price comparison website it has no reason to falsify the pricing, as doing so would turn away users as they come for accurate comparisons - even though it unfortunately does not seem to show a source. It may admittedly be old news, but i know there was confusion about the D2C pricing.

If the Hulkbuster is the D2C, i hope we get a bunch of Iron Man variants. Imagine getting the Hulkbuster with a hall of armours build included along with several Iron Man figures like below; I do hope a potential D2C Hulkbuster would be dark red and gold though - would help vary it more from the Ninjago Fire Mech to have dark red instead of normal red. Plus it'd look more accurate with dark red. The D2C should be shown in 3-4 days (via the calendar hopefully) and the exclusive set we wont see till closer/after the movie - both have a level of possibility to include a Thanos variant. I doubt we'd get a Thanos variant in this wave though and I'm leaning more towards Avengers 4. This is from the Agents theme would work fairly well, but it's never been in red. https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=62691

So the new CMF's have appeared, but the noticeable one is Cat Suit Guy. Cat Suit Guy provides us with dual molded arms and legs, the flipped version of the Monster Scientist Guy. The legs might be worth trying on Proxima Midnight - still wont be accurate looking, but it'd help vary the figure a bit more.
