    It seems odd for another Merc thing, i fell like we are gonna get a Unimog rerelease, although the set was well liked something too similar seems like an odd choice, then again i have no idea what it is either, is this rumour about it being Mercedes confirmed?

    I was referring more to scaled speed as well, a 1:10 car going at 10 KPH for example would be going at 100 KPH at full scale, anyone know the scale of the 42030? i was thinking around 1:24

    Did he say he wants to pull a trailer with a 42030 on it? even trucks in real life pulling heavy machinery are aggressively slow.

    I nearly got one at $109 AU the other day, i really wanted all those black panels, but i was not sure how much else was useful, i was hoping those wheels were blue too, but they just had blue dishes covering them.

    If the motors are braced it would easily snap the axle, good luck getting the broken axle bits out... If not they probably just turn around each other.

    WOW that's bad... its like when i heard about someone who asked if a car MOC was made with Bionicles... i need a slapping fan.

    The nice part is you can make something entirely different with with the parts if you get bored of a set or MOC.

    The battery pack is able to supply power through multiple channels at once, they will be fine as long as they are not severely discharged, good luck stuffing two XL motors in there though mine has one XL in it and its fine with only a slight gear reduction unfortunately it can't handle off roading because its only 2 wheel drive.

    Much better steering, ill have to do this when i rebuild my 42030, need some parts first though, too bad I've never used LDD before, i should get some practice. BTW if i follow the instructions up to a certain point, when do i start implementing your parts?

    You may need more than just those, gears, axles, pins and connectors will be needed to integrate the motors, though that shop might help, 2 L motors should be more than powerful enough, the servo might be hard to find a home for, there is one flaw with your choices, you are probably getting a V1 receiver which from what I've heard, cannot supply enough current for 2 Ls, i like the idea of encouraging your kid to modify it himself though.

    Im just gonna get a 9398 and make the 41999 body in my own colours, i know it wont be as cool but ill get the same thing and more personal too.

    I've been wanting the 2l axle with pin, funny how they just happen to be producing them now, also the arctic truck looks surprisingly good with wheels on! meaning i can have the treads for tanks!

    Is the 8285 a good set? should i get one? (i have seen one cheap) it looks really great but i can't sell myself on it just yet, any second opinions?

    I've never seen a PAB wall, though i guess Australia does not have any stores that would have them.

    That seems kind of weird but the idea of building the motor how you like it is very lego, is such a concept even really possible though?

    Is that why black ones are so expensive on BL and BO... too bad for those sellers i guess, Does anyone know when they might start appearing on Australian shelves? ill be grabbing the very first 42038 i see.

    I love it! i almost thought it was an official one, could one of the Ls be substituted with an M?

    I agree on the variation i've been in technic only 2 months and have noticed alot of cranes, they are pretty cool for what they are however. Anyone think Lego should drop their "no military" thing? i love tank MOCs and an official one could be great!
